Nice atmosphere and attractive shop. Staff were very friendly. Coffee was OK, my Americano was too bitter/over extracted.

Got an iced cappuccino + 3 flavoured shots & one tiny macaroon paid $21 which is an insane amount for what i received also used my debit & when i looked at my banking i was charged $23

I loved Ashanti - my wife and I would come every year when we were in the area for our anniversary. Unfortunately, CJ Wellness Bakery is no Ashanti. The change has resulted in a severe decline in the quality of the coffee, the quality of service, and even the quality of the environment. Gone is the rustic, cozy wood paneling and inviting warm tones - now it's a sterile, nightmarish white-walled mockery of what it once was. This beautiful little building has been stripped of every last ounce of personality, and the menu has been treated a similar way. I think it's safe to say we will never be returning, which is as true a shame as is possible.

Menu downgraded from when it was Ashanti. Atmosphere is sterile and bland rather than rustic and cozy. Too "wellness healthy" focused for a bakery and coffee shop. It will not last, like previous locations such as the Peapod. Can't see myself ever coming back, what a shame.

Recently went to Ashanti for lunch and coffee.
The peppermint mocha was delicious, no complaints. I ordered a chicken Cesar wrap for $5.99. They wrap was VERY small, and was simply filled with dry chicken, no dressing, no lettuce? ! It was so dry and gross I had to throw it away.
For a busy lunch hour there was only one employee, she did what she could but more staff are definitely needed.
I'll return for the drinks but I'll pass on the food.

Beautiful place. We stop by here to support the local businesses. Great service
