I bought parts from C & L Boatworks successfully in 2016. Now in 2023 I have been unable to get ahold of anyone via phone or email. I hear it was sold. If someone knows of a good place to get replacement parts (I need a new jib fulling system) please make a post with the contact details

I paid $750 in advance for a new furling system, the last contact I had with him, he said he had all but one part and would contact me when it arrived. The next spring when I returned from Florida, I was getting no answer to my emails, and the phone was out of service. I went to the location of the business and he had moved from the residence and taken all that was in the work building and left no forwarding address. I have been trying to track him down for 3 years now with no luck.

I am sad to inform and warn all prospective customers that C&L Boatworks takes orders and full payments and does not send the ordered items. There is no communication with them, they don't return messages nor answer the phone. I paid $651 in May for a boat cover and never heard from them since they sent me an invoice. My item never arrived. They don't deserve even one star, but I have no option to give them zero.

Spent $700 on new CL parts in June 2019. It is now Nov 2019 and no delivery has been made with no response to e mail and phone out of service. Ask yourself does this sound like a company you want to deal with?

Phone doesn’t work. Slow to respond to email. I tried buying sails from CL Boatworks. That did not work out well. They asked for 50% deposit. After multiple delays, & more than 7 months later I ended up with a refund & no sails. Not a good experience.

Thank you for taking the time last week to drop our parts of and help with getting the old seized parts off of our ECHO Sailboat.
The Boat sails much better now with the new Fibreglass Parts.
The old wood Rudder and Centreboard have gone to the fire.
The new Rudder Head / Pintles & Gudgeons make a world of difference when we tack and jybe.
Thanks very much.
Scott.

Drove out there today, a Tuesday, at 10: 30am and they were closed although the site says they are open. It doesn't look like they are in business at all. I will be looking elsewhere for parts for my CL. They bought the business from the people in Fort Erie and I had high hopes as this location is more convenient for me.
