I would steer clear from Claim Secure. I was supposedly covered for a dental procedure per their platform only to be rejected. They have a query option on their self-serve platform that indicates what your insurance covers but they neglected to distinguish between what may be different in Ontario vs. Quebec. Basically, $2,000, that I was "eligible for" per their platform, I had to pay out of pocket. The answer I got from Customer Support was "well the platform is made for everyone so it doesn't actually apply to just you". A very disappointing service to say the least.

I feel disappointed because it is the second time that my husband Claimsecure is not accepted for dental attention. And then, I have sent the claim for myself and hope that it processes well.

Our company switched it's benefits provider from Blue Cross to Claimsecure and it's been somewhat of a nightmare since as Claimsecure repeatedly shows ridiculous reporting. They make an error and then show those claims on statements as rejected claims as they try to fix their errors. Totals are entirely wrong on the statements for submitted claims as they include the amounts for which they're correcting their mistakes, (sometimes they have 2 or 3 entries included in the total for one claim!) so one has to take a considerable amount of time to sift line by line to add up the correct totals if needed for tax purposes! Just submitted a claim and wrote right on the receipt to take from HSA, then followed up with a phone call to make sure it wasn't taken from Vision and after all that, they put the claim to Vision (needed for something else). When called to report to have it corrected, I asked the rep how that could happen when I was so clear, he was unapologetic and said human errors happen!

I have encountered a number of obstacles while trying to claim my dexcom 6. First time it took almost 3 weeks. This time (second time) I was told estimated time was 3.4 days. This is day 7. Would be day 10 but I was give incorrect information from claimsecure on how to submit. So 7 days.and was told today that it could be a another 3-4 days. So 21 the first time. 14 the second. And nobody I've spoken with seems equipped with clear information.

I have to call them every single time I try to claim something because it gets messed up or denied for unknown reasons. Previous insurance company I called maybe once or twice in 10 years.

Very frustrating that I can't add documents, only photos. You have to search for new providers on a map - ridiculous. I just want to type the name! This whole app is the worst claims app I have ever used.

I find this app very frustrating. The search for provider pulls up random people and when you search by address it still won't let you use that address. Finding your balances for the year is not very helpful. Much harder to find the information than it was before.

Oddly after submitting a routine claim that was rejected because of a lack of a medical note which had been previous submitted and was supposedly on file. I was asked to submit again with explanation of the coordination of benefits which had already been submitted with the claim. After the last resubmission, it approved without error, or supporting documents. SO keep submitted maybe your claim will be accepted after you brute force it through. Sadly I think this is normal for all insurance providers. 2 stars, would not recommend.

I noticed that most of the vision care has no coverage information and you have to call for everything or refer to a pamphlet that should have a pdf on the site, but doesn't. Not comparable to other insurance apps.

I am, overall, very pleased with ClaimSecure yet my last claim for a massage was denied without explanation. If there is a change in coverage or account inconsistency then customers should be notified immediately.

PLEASE change this.it is very annoying, there has to be a way to fix this

The name of my ex boyfriend appears on the app.it would be great if there would be a way to remove the name completly even if he does not have access to my benefits anymore.

I strongly suggest to find a way to be able to delete the name of an ex spouse/boyfriend.i amongst other dont like to see the other person's name specially while being in another relationship

Every time i fill this out, its the same review because the name of my ex still appears on my online account and it is very annoying to see that every time i submit a claim.please do something about this, with today's technology, there has to be a way to remove the name from the account.

Easy process for submitting health care claims. However some providers are telling me that they could direct bill with former Blue Cross but they can't with you.

I find mobile version of the w on the website is not tested well, not all the info is displayed in full on the screen, many buttons are not responsive.
Desktop version is easier to read and works well. Customer support provided by Contact Us phone number is very fast and professional.

A good benefits provider as far as benefits go. Very responsive, great employee portal and easy to set up claim submission. A much better client experience than mega insurers like Manulife.

I love the "new" (it's not super new, but new enough) website for submitting claims. About 1000 more user friendly than the last one. So easy to navigate through the steps. Just awesome.

I do not find the claim secure online site easy to use or very informative. I cannot see my totals, how much I have left, why something is not going through, nothing. Very disappointing. I will have to call in to speak with someone to get the information I need.

The app provides almost no information compared to what it used to. Answers are vague and limited and cannot view old claims.

The app itself is great. But ClaimSecure is not transparent. Why? They do not give clear guidance or reason why the claim has been denied. I've lost many claims because it was denied just because the picture is not clear enough. It would be nice if things are communicated to the members right away, just like the other providers. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with Claimsecure.

Plus I can only get my proper prescription discount if I subscribe and get my meds delivered. Why wait when I can go to my local pharmacy and get my meds in 10 minutes?

When submitting a claim It states how many business days before it will be processed. This information is not correct and even the staff state its not accurate It may say processed in 2 business days but the wait for my claims are usually 7-10 business days or more. The online submission should be more accurate or not give processing times at all.

This is the worst possible insurance company I have ever dealt with. They deny every claim and I need to make complaints or sit on the phone to get them to accept claims that are very well covered under my plan.

It's very difficult to find out your maximums and I have yet to figure out how to see how much my deductible is. Its not the easiest app to use. And it's difficult to get this insurance working with my other one. I wish they would work together better.

The website it Pretty visually but overall is very non-functional and lacks basic information such as Amounts offered Per Benefit, and remaining Funds Available per Benefit.

When contacting through Phone or Email, they are able to provide above information.

The above information was available previously before they decided to overhaul the website, but now it just seems like it was a waste of time and effort and probably money on their part. Unless it is still under development, which sadly has already been over a year since I noticed the changes to the site, then they need to do alot more work to make the site useful in any way.

I was asked my thoughts now after submitting my claim for the first time. Bad so far. They changed my submission to “prescription sunglasses” and rejected my claim, even though they are prescription GLASSES. Just submitted my claim again and I will update.

Update: They gave me a hard time about my glasses being “sunglasses”, they randomly put another claim through for glasses after my glasses ordeal had finally been sorted out with someone else and emailed me to tell me I was making duplicate claims and that’s why it was rejected (annoying and confusing, I know). They took two weeks to reject my eye exam with NO REASON attached, even though I am eligible for 100% eye exam coverage every 24 consecutive months and this is my first time dealing with them.

This place is absolutely terrible.

Navigating the app for photo claims is easy. Attempting to look into what your coverage is for anything new is next to impossible. The search functions aren't intuitive at all. Most of the time I don't have any idea what I'm meant to be entering or in which field.

Best go elsewhere, they never pick up, why pay for insurance if no one at the company picks up to help you with a claim. Kinda makes the whole point of paying for insurance kind of moot.

Last time I made a claim is for my massage. I sent everything total failure because they never mention to me that I had to get referral from my doctor. I need it badly my massage because my work is all about physical. I'm hoping this time I reimbursement from my new claims.

Complicated interface. Not very intuitive. Tried 3 times to attach docs with one of the claims, but couldn't. There was no prompt asking for attaching the docs. Frustrating.

You try to make it as hard as possible to claim so that you make more profits. Why can't I make an online claim over 12 months? That is inefficient. Why can't we make a claim over $121 online without it going to holding? We are responsible for keeping all our receipts. Your main responsibility seems to be adding steps to make it harder so people don't submit all their claims. This is the worst benefit program I've been a part of.

The App is frustrating to use. I'd really like it if you could just type in what your looking for and access your balances that way.i really like the photo submit option that way they see exactly the info they need. I've been having a hard time with my claims being rejected, for reasons beyond my control despite me going to great effort to do exactly whatever it is they need me to do to make everyone happy. So far over all im not happy with them.but I will try to fill guide lines better and mabey my opinion will change.

So far it's been great if the doctor's office is directly able to deal with them. The profile/ app is rather user unfriendly and it takes quite a bit to figure out how to claim a massage for instance.
Also, I recently tried to switch from single to family (include my spouse) and it's been 3 months in the making.: -/
Trying to get a helpful answer is a pain. I've sent an email asking why he is still not added, after sending the form 2 months ago and the only answer I got was, and I quote: "ClaimSecure is unable to make any changes to your profile. Please speak with your plan administrator at your place of employment for assistance. " Thinking it is my manager, who and to send it in, I asked and he said he'll have to call someone.
. What a runaround! Not happy with that at all.

I never leave bad reviews but this company is awful, very disappointed in their service
- Denied every claim despite the policy clearly stating it's a covered benefit. Then they kept making different excuses to avoid paying the claim (for example first they denied my claim because we didn't give the elbow brace's company name and then once I provided that they denied it because "braces aren't covered" like why didn't they just deny it for that originally?)
- They said they process claims with a different benefits document which doesn't match the one they gave me. So I asked for their version so that I could at least understand what my policy does cover and they said they couldn't
- Kept me on the phone for over 30 minutes several times without solving anything
- Failed at answering my questions and only gave me vague answers
- Failed at following up with me despite saying they'll contact me in 3 days (waited 2 weeks until I had to contact them again for an update)
- Failed at inputting information accurately in their systems as I keep having to correct them on it

I like the Claimsecure app! But you need an option to see pending claims. I submitted a claim that has not yet been approved or denied but I can't verify if you've even received the claim yet or not

Online processing of claims is excellent. Even manual processing is way way faster than blue cross was. What an improvement!

Takes far too long to have claims processed. They say up to 2 days to process but it's been over 3 weeks. I have coordination of benefits and the other plan processes claims and deposits to my account in less than a week. Unacceptable for the cost of coverage. Everything is done online, should never take this long.

Too bad we can't give 0! Because be ready to deal with them back and forth. WASTING our times and of course taking their sweet time to either pay you or deny your claim then you send back again the same bill and oh surprise! You can't get a refund back because now the doctor needs to fill out a special form.at your cost because you're wasting the doctor's time (which is understandable) and of course this extra cost isn't covered by their nonsense!). And don't send 2 different bills at once, they will say it's duplicate! They only know 3 words: duplicate/ send a special form or denied.i am sure they get a bonus for not providing people a refund for health claims. If you can, avoid them at all cost!
