Clancy's Restaurant and Bar

Had a couple of Canadians and burger and chips. Great service and food was good pub grub. The beers were super cold and delicious

We went to Clancy’s for a late night snack last night, and I will never step foot in this bar again. We took our seats, and after 50 minutes my friends calls over the waitress and asks when our food is going to be ready.and i get it sometimes things happen and it might take a while BUT It’s not even busy AND we only ordered wings and onion rings? Not only that but not once did she tell us it was going to take a while or anything! We were treated with complete disrespect- no apologies, nothing. We had to leave so we told the waitress that we couldn’t wait any longer and to just give us the bill for our drinks. She stated that ‘you can’t just leave, the food will be ready in 10 minutes, you’re on camera etc’ and I had explained that any other professional establishment would have apologized and gave us a free app for the inconvenience- but instead she BANNED US. After we payed the drink bill she was talking about us to the other customers which then stated ‘go back to your country’. I’m not sure if this was racially motivated but I’m extremely disappointed and will tell my peers to never go here. It’s a shame because I also own a business here in the niagara region and was disgusted with what happened last night

Very disappointed. We travel from Ancaster often to come here just for the wings. We came Friday May 5th, and the wings were so small and overcooked. There is no way we were served 1 pound.

A local sports bar away from the hustle and bustle of Clifton Hill.
Local and fun atmosphere, good music and of course games are always shown on the many screens that exist.
The dishes we ordered were large and satisfying and at very reasonable prices.
Worth a visit to experience a bit of the local culture.

Drinks are reasonably priced, I had the haddock fish n chips which was really good @12.99.

Service is good but food is not. Pop is flat. Fries are frozen and over cooked. Gravy tasteless. “Poutine” is made with shredded mozzarella that looked crunchy. Would not recommend

I love how they have different deals every day. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. Nice casual environment. Wifi available, too.

Fish and chips were a really good sized, perfectly fried, came with some good fries and a small coleslaw

Great food friendly staff was a bit busy but it was a Saturday evening but it was worth it

Wife showed me this spot when we first met been my fave wings ever since, go on a Monday for the wing special grab a pitcher and you’re set. So damn good. If hockeys on you’re in heaven.

Prices ok and location is out of the way and more for locals.
Menu is also ok for a bar type restaurant.
Very dated decor and the rest rooms not very clean.
Waitress was pleasant.

Very expensive. Food was ok at best. Server kept forgetting things and would hardly come back for refill of drinks.
