Clarkson Pump & Patio

The Pump is super reliable for good food, relaxed atmosphere and nice service. We had lunch today, a group of 6, and it was wonderful. All of our food (mostly brunch items) were delicious and our server was really attentive and friendly. Thank you so much!

Lovely outdoor covered patio. Bar itself smells greasy. Food was delicious- beet and feta salad with grilled chicken. Friends had the barbecue specials - pulled pork and lamb burger - delicious.

Above average patio with mature tree for some shade. Chicken wings are far superior to what you get at most bars & pubs. Creemore on tap as well as other good beer. Sadly, locally brewed Old Credit is no longer available. Lovely staff!

Nice patio away from traffic, fast service, cold beer, and really hot food! Can't really ask for more. One odd thing: the chairs were a little low for the tables. Changing that up would be nice.

We went after work on a Saturday evening and I wasn't packed for a Saturday night. There was a live acoustic guitarist singing cover songs which was really relaxing and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the Volcano burger and any of the wings.

Great pub! I had a delicious lamb burger with the best potato salad I've ever had! Nice selection of beers too!

Been here a few times while stopping for lunch break and the food is always yummy and good portions. And well poured pints

I've been waiting to go here for a while. The outdoor patio is really neat and the atmosphere was awesome. I can't wait to check out their trivia night!

Food was good, with the exception of the calamari, tasted freezer burnt. Wings, were delicious. Service was ok. Our table was very sticky but when we asked the server to clean it, he did. Definitely coming back. Had a great anniversary lunch with my husband

Please update the way you make and take reservations. Perhaps get the online booking format. The last five times my friends and I have made a reservation there has been an issue.
*Table was reserved but given to a staff family members who did not have a reservation.
*People were sat at the reserved table too close to our reservation time and were not done.
*Table requested was not reserved.
*Reservation was in the book but no one actually reserved the table.
*Reservation was written down for the wrong day. We were told it was our fault. Impossible since we only go Wednesday evenings.
Last incident was the only one we received an apology for. After waiting 20 minutes we were offered a drink while waiting. As a group and individuals we are there regularly. If issues continue we will choose a different restaurant.
Also, maybe consider an apology right away when you make a mistake and customers are upset. These issues happen at no other restaurants in the area.

Service was good, server was friendly, knowledgeable and engaged. Wings were not great, small and dry. Furniture was on its last legs, time for a reno.

I haven't been there in years. I used to live in Clarkson. There's food is awesome. My son and I went there when we went down that way to visit Springcreek. Awesome place, great service.

My wife and I were there last week Sunday, 21st May'23 and ordered food with a gift card. The card had technical issues but two ladies Matty and Gabi were extremely helpful in sorting out our issue.

Went in for a quick bite on a weekday afternoon. I ordered the burger, and It was delicious.

The padio environment was nice outside, I enjoyed my short visit.

The staff was nice and polite.

-Zero stars was not an option
-Made reservations for 4 plus 1 high chair.
-We were seated at the highest table, where my infant when seated in the high chair was only able to see under the table.
-We were moved to the party room. We were not attended to by any servers.
-We were then moved to the patio.
-It took 45 minutes for a server (Gabi the Manager on Duty) to finally take our order.
- We ordered 2 pepperoni pizzas, 1 of the pizzas we requested easy on the cheese.
- The pizzas came and it was 2 cheese pizzas.
-They took the pizzas to the kitchen, added some pepperoni on it, and brought it to us. The worst attempt to change a cheese pizza into a pepperoni pizza.
-Their excuse was they were short staffed.
-If they told us they were short staffed, we would not have drove 45 mins for slow service and poorly cooked food.
-We made it a tradition to come to The Pump And Patio on special occasions, because my kids like it.
-This experience has put a damper on our Mothers Day celebrations.

Waited for a drink that I ordered, didn't get it so I left, usually the service is good
