AMAZING experience at Clay Design! If you are thinking about doing one of their workshops you absolutely must. The staff are talented experts in their craft, and above all, extremely kind, wonderful people. Phillis is a real life fairy godmother. Hans was so helpful during booking and promptly answered all of my email questions. I booked a 3 hour workshop as a gift to my partner and we had so much fun learning and experimenting with ceramic making. Imagine your favourite art class from school but a million times better. Worth every penny and honestly so much more. THANK YOU!

I have a wonderful experience every time I come into this cute little shop. The staff are generally helpful and answer any silly questions I have, and create a welcoming space. Nice variety of local artists to shop from. My wife gifted me a certificate for a private class, I can't wait to get my hands dirty!

Well, after searching for clay studios in Toronto, my partner and I walked in this place (me feeling very excited as ceramics is my thing). However, we both got upset with the reaction of the staff. She didn’t even bothered herself to answer our greeting. Not a word. She ruined my expectations and we both left the store immediately.

Great selection of different artists' clay work for purchase, either in store (limited pandemic hours at the moment) or online/curbside pickup. Reasonable prices and great options for gifts.

The pottery studio is amazing, the instructors are very experienced ceramicists and the set up is much better than other studios I've taken classes at.

Been taking pottery classes here for 1 year now and really enjoy working with the instructors and other students. Learning a lot of new techniques and producing quite a lot of pottery!

Denise and Phillis were masterful at their craft, patient and fun! 3hrs went by in a blink of an eye. I really enjoyed the pottery class and totally recommend it whether it be for date night or just to try something new.:)

Wheels, hand building, glazes, this little store packs a punch both teaching and selling pottery. Great teachers.
