ClearView smART solutions & kitchen design

Do not get fooled by all the high rating reviews…I have selected ClearView Kitchens partly based on high rating reviews and that was a big mistake.
Dishonest: After the initial meetings, we got a quotation for painted MDF cabinetry. When we asked about mixing the cabinet materials option, Andrey (owner) said mixing cabinet materials would not change the price, whether combination of painted MDF plus Melamine or combination of painted MDF plus Wood veneer. There would be up charge only if the upgrade was combination of painted MDF plus solid wood. After the deposit was made, we changed our mind from combination of painted MDF plus Melamine to combination of painted MDF plus Wood veneer and they wanted a addition fee that was equivalent to upgrading to the solid wood.
Responsiveness: Their communication was pretty responsive until we made the deposit, afterward the communication was slow significantly causing our project delays.
Finally, we didn’t hear from them for a over a week, and therefore we sent an email wanting to withdraw from this project due to dishonesty and delaying the project. We have asked for refund of partial deposit, to pay for some of the work done, but they refused with an arbitrary list of charges that added to the deposit amount.
By the way, their website states “FREE design solutions in 3D modeling and rendering”, well when we asked for the refund, they put a dollar amount to this as a chargeable item.
Also they state “Reasonable pricing and transparency with quoting”, their price made be reasonable but definitely NOT TRANSPARENT with quoting.
This is a terrible business practise, and this complaint will be filed with Consumer Protection Ontario, Competition Bureau Canada, and Better Business Bureau.
Even other kitchen renovation companies are admitting this is a bad business practise, and they do not treat their customers this way, even if they back out.

I cannot begin to express how happy I am with ClearView. From start to finish it was such a smooth sail. Their team was so efficient and there were no delays. Their designer is so creative and on point with what my vision was for my new home. I would definitely recommend ClearView to others that need any cabinetry done whether its just an office, a kitchen, tv and wall units, etc. Thank you so much to this amazing team.

I was recommended by a friend who designed their closets with ClearView and decided to go with them to design and build our master closet. The team was very accommodating to work around our schedule to meet and discuss options and designs. We worked closely with Luisa, our designer, and she was incredibly detail-oriented and knowledgeable, offering opinions on the best way to use the space. My favourite part was being able to visualize the space because they also offer 3D visuals. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do closets and other cabinetry.

I recently updated my kitchen with a fresh coat of lacquer on the cabinets, new flooring, and a new Silestone countertop. I always wanted a small open shelved island for serving, as our space was not very functional for the size of it. No company seemed willing to take on such a small job. After a few dead ends, I found Clearview Kitchens. From start to finish Andrey was very professional and easy to work with. My design had a few rough edges, but Andrey took the time to troubleshoot and solve the design challenges. I am thrilled with the final product!

From start to finish, working with the ClearView professional team was such a positive experience. They designed and manufactured a TV unit for our living room and we couldn’t be more pleased with the product. My Husband and I built a custom home from the ground up. As you can imagine we experienced dozens and dozens of different trades and their respective owners. Among this extensive list, the ClearView Kitchens team is one of a very select few trades that we recommend, and do so with an abundance of confidence.

In the cabinetry category, we met Andrey and his team after having experienced two other cabinetry companies, one for our closets, office and mudroom, and the other for our 2nd floor bathroom vanities. In total we met with 6 different companies in this one category. We immediately recognized a stark difference with ClearView Kitchens. Every expectation we had was surpassed with every project. The level of service, workmanship, creativity and professional integrity remained constant from one project to the next.

From beginning to completion, ClearView smART solutions was a very positive experience. We had their team extend our kitchen with ample storage/cabinets, install a large quartz counter top, install back-splash, create/install a custom living room TV wall unit.

Andrey and his team were professional every step of the way. The designs, ideas, recommendations, professionalism and choice of material and colours were fantastic and we were ecstatic with the outcome of the renovations. Communication via email, text message and phone were also very punctual and quick.

After an extensive review of which contractor would do the best job in our condo, my wife and I settled in on ClearView smART solutions & kitchen design and we were not disappointed. The attention to detail was excellent and Clearview was able to adapt well to changes during the course of the project. The custom made "solid wood" cabinetry is of high quality and will last for years to come. Clearviews team of professionals are very skilled in each of their roles and having Arthur as the project manager was a big plus too.
