Clera Windows + Doors Barrie

Had a front door replaced by Clera. Changed the house appearance upside down. Delivery was as promised, installers took their time to install the door, everything turned out better than I expected! My parents are in the process of ordering with them as well. Would definitely recommend!

It was our first time using Clera Windows on on our new build home. We are impressed with the quality, workmanship and Service! Beautiful modern design complements our home and we wouldn't hesitate to use Clera again!

Sales rep was very knowledgeable and not to pushy. The install and attention to detail was off the chart. Lastly the follow up was 2nd to none. Would recommend Clera to anyone and everyone.

My experience has been overwhelmingly positive with Clera Windows. After getting several quotes from other companies. I had Clera Windows come out to replace all the windows in my townhome. Six months later, I called them again to replace my sliding glass doors.

Had full window and door replacement in June 2022. Windows and doors were done well in June. Two sets of sliding patio doors were delayed and installed in October 2022. Installer damaged screen door upon install, applied the incorrect coloured caulking and made several errors that the company was required to correct. Was advised that the bent screen door would be replaced. That was in October 2022. Now February 2023 and no replacement. Spoke to Diane on February 17 who advised the screen is available and indicated I would receive a return call same day. February 23 and still waiting. Disappointing customer service particularly given that the damage was caused by the company’s installer.

We had two living room windows replaced, when the installer came he was alone, said his partner called in sick. These were two very large windows should have been a two man job. First thing it was winter so would not recommend this time of year but it was when our windows were ready. So installer removed both windows at the same time so instead of just working on one window at a time I had two large holes in my living room with snow coming in for hours. Needless to say my windows were not installed properly. It took us a bit of time to notice. But I would see staining on the sill. At first I thought it was my dogs drooling on the window ledge. But it would get more and more over time. Then one day we had a hard rain storm and we could see the water running on the inside of the window. Called clera they sent the same guy who installed them he was rude and acted like we were making it up. He put two large mounds of calk on the outside sill, looked like a soft ice cream cone said it was fixed. We insisted someone come out and take the inside frame off to double check there was no damage done around the window inside. Thats was an ordeal in its self and they said everything was fine.
Well next rain storm the water was running in like a water fall. If we would have not been home our whole living room and more would have been flooded. We took video to send this time so they didn’t think we were making it up. This time they sent a different installer he took off the siding above the window and said they were not installed right he then put up some extra flashing, we insisted the windows get removed and installed properly as this was the third time they had come for this problem, the technician said he would let the office know, we never heard back from them. We have since decided to use another company. We put up some of our own flashing up over the windows and caulk around them ourselves since we never heard back from Clera. Worst service ever. The after care from this company is brutal. You know the saying well they have your money now so they don’t care. That is for sure with this company. We will have the windows replaced eventually by another company but at a cost of over 6 grand for two windows we have to wait a bit. We had other windows /doors replaced since by Kempenfelft and there after care service is impeccably. They are more pricey but I guess it’s true you get what you pay for. We would never recommend this company strictly for the after service and poor installation that was done on these two windows.

We ordered complete windows and French doors for our home the first week of July 2021. Our windows finally got delivered in February. Within the month our large window cracked. We immediately called and they sent out the repair but it was the wrong window. We then called in June and they returned our call saying 6 more weeks. It’s now mid August and the crack is so large we are afraid it’s a safety hazard. Still Nothing. 14 months after our original order. Yet they sure take our money. DO NOT USE!

We ordered our windows in January 2022 and were told by the salesman that installation would be in May. (Their price was about the same as other companies). Come end of May we get a call on the Thursday saying the installer would be at our house on Tues (1st wk in June) and the job would take 2 days. (We were having a window and patio door opening enlarged). We removed all window treatments & moved furniture the night before, only to be called the Tues morning to be told they weren't coming. We were told they'd come next Wed. Ok.they could have called the day before we moved everything. Next Wed - nobody shows - nobody calls us. We call the store - we are told they are coming and will be here by 11: 30am. 11: 25 we get a call from the store - they aren't coming. We ask if they are coming Thursday - (its a 2 day job remember?) - we are told no - they have another job - we ask - How can they have another job when they were supposed to be here? Store says they'll call the installer and call us back. No call. We end up calling the store back to be told for sure they will be here next Monday & Tuesday - only after we threaten to cancel the contract and get our deposit back and after calling Head office - again saying we are ready to cancel and the CS Manager there calling the store to confirm they are coming. Monday they show up. They work steady while they are here. They were here for 2 1/2 days. They took no care of our personal property. The guy doing the brick work did a lousy job of the mortor leaving it all over the existing bricks and our brand new composite decking at the front. We had to scrub it off with a small wire brush and dish soap. They left black marks on our new treated wood back deck from filling the garbage can too heavy while using the dolly. We at least asked the brick guy to lay down a sheet on the back deck before he did any work. We had to throw out our living room carpet because it was too dirty to clean. The only positive things I can say is the windows themselves are well made, were installed correctly and look great - same with the new front doors. That is the only reason I am giving them even 2 stars. We were given the run around so many times by both the store manager and the installer, the experience was frustrating and felt disrespected. I would never order anything from this company again.

Disgusting and messy company whoever you deal with make sure its not that Jimm hes arrogant and rude won't take criticism on his work even if the work was poorly done! Trust broken and will never hire them again!

After their sales rep missed a window in my house, their answer was "it'll be another six months to get that window in. " They failed to inform me that they wouldn't be patching the drywall above the patio door that was installed. They damaged my siding installing the patio door. The patio door isn't square as my screen doesn't close all of the way at the bottom. They also installed smaller windows in my basement than were on the order form that I signed for. Their answer to that was these were the windows I was getting despite being almost two inches smaller in both directions. I have called and left messages with Chris. Chris once called me back to say Les was calling me back, which he did but then didn't return my phone call. It's been months now and I regret using Clera despite their great reviews and reasonable prices.

Matt was amazing to deal with, great guy! Two guys came Jesse and Dave to install my window. Fantastic service and great to talk with. They were very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

I have bought 8 windows through this company and dealing with warranty is AWFUL! Paid $75 for them to Come out and tell me they will order a new window for me and a year later still nothing from them! Don’t recommend this company
