Dr Cohen is the best dentist out there. He is patient, kind and the only dentist in my life that i have not had a fear of. Also April is the best restorative hygenist as well. Everytime I go to Cloverdale I am treated with kindness and respect. They truly care about their patients.

Cloverdale Dental is the BEST.every hygienist in the place is amazing along with Dr. Cohen. I have never been a very relaxed person going to the dentist and now I don't dread it.simply the best!

The staff at this office is very friendly and professional. All procedures are explained in full before it's done. They absolutely work with whatever time frame you may need.

My last visit was with hygienist Christina. She is very kind and professional, and it’s always very pleasant experience with her.

I have been seeing Leanne for years. She remains a caring, very competent hygienist who looks after who ever sits in her chair.

Just wanted to leave a review that Dr. Stern is probably the most patient, understanding dentist I've ever had. He really listens to my concerns (sometimes ridiculously inaccurate concerns) and makes sure everything is taken care of. I've usually had Victoria working alongside Dr. Stern, who has always been extremely professional, amazing, and kind as well. A quick shout out to Lauren at front desk for helping me figure out things with my wild schedule and giving me lip balms! Overall, I went in to this dental office after having neglected my teeth for a while and they took really good care of me:) I recommend them 100% and for reference, I'm very picky!

I have been going to Leanne (Hygenist) for years and Dr Gold just took over for my Dentist who retired. I had a filling replaced with her today and she was fantastic!

These guys are very straightforward and honest. Really appreciate how upfront they are about everything, and if they can help you save money they will (shocking coming from a dental office). They have done a great job on my surgery and don’t overwhelm you with pressure on booking every next appointment to exhaust your benefits. Doctor Ryan fit me in last minute for an emergency, was very kind and gentle and walked me through what he could do immediately for pain and long term how to fix it. I highly recommend him, especially if your nervous he is very good and making you feel calm.

I recommended this place for my husband based on posts from other customers. My husband had shown up approx 10 to 15 mins late due to circumstances beyond his control and was met with a rude and entitled front desk individual that cancelled his appt and was going to charge him 150 dollars but was advised by other staff members to only charge him 50 dollars. We will be taking our business elsewhere to a practice that is less militant with their customers.

Administrators are super friendly and efficient! Dr Ryan is the best dentist! He's always so professional and knowledgeable.

I was referred to Cloverdale Dental Group after having recently had a very bad experience elsewhere after a cosmetic dentistry procedure. Dr. Cohen and his Dental Assistant Anya are kind and professional, and put me at ease. I had been told by my previous dentist that I needed a crown, which Dr. Cohen has assured me is not the case. Cloverdale Dental Group are clearly a team of dedicated health professionals and people of integrity, who have their clients’ best interests at heart.

While I am very glad that so many people have had good experiences with this clinic, ours was not one of them. The amount of stress caused by the team at the front desk, pushed by dentists who only care about profit, made for one of the most humiliating and demoralizing professional care experiences I've ever had. From almost the moment we started there, the merry go round of receptionists led to massive financial burdens on our behalf. While they may be nice and kind individuals, as a team, they are failing their patients. There is no communication about clinic policies or really any patient care beyond payment.

Their track record seems to be very hit or miss, and I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what we've experienced. Find a different dentist. There are lots in the area.

(Also, we rescheduled an appointment in January because my husband had a cold. One receptionist told us it was fine if he came in with a cough and a fever, even though we wouldn't have passed Covid screenings. When we called back a second time to check if we should really come in and a different receptionist told us definitely not to come. Honestly, it's madness over there. They can't keep the thread from one day to the next and the dentists compound the issue by only caring about money. It's okay. They have waiting lists, so no patient really matters. There's just another one on line.)

I recently went here for a dental cleaning/scaling and I was received by a hygienist named Anna. She is a star. The most humble and friendly hygienist I've met. She was extremely patient and made me feel at ease. My fear of a dental clinic has gone from 7 to 0 because of her. Lovely experience.

Thorough dental cleaning. Unfortunately had to wait to pay and leave but that is unusual and I thoroughly blame covid.

This dental clinic is very very improfessional, I made a call in the morning to make a cleaning and whitening appointment for this week, and the receptionist told me that they were available today. I drove 74km for the appointment and when I got there they told me that they didn't have enough time for appointment.
They ask me if I wanted make another appointment.
The point here is I lose my work day, my daughter lose a school day, and in the end they said she a new receptionist, but I think they need to hirea professional receptionist because we went the websit and we saw the reviews and we thought they are professional but isn't like that.

You should just go here for the hospitality. Amazing people at the reception. We went away and the dentistry nearby wouldn't even come close to this, so we came back here.

Staff are not polite. Waiting time is long although I had an appointment and I checked in 20 min earlier. The communication is bad as they dont ask you why are u there. They just give u the forms with no word. I did not like it afterall.

I felt that the old receiptionist lady with shor hair will attack me. Learn how to be kind. I will call to cancel my appointment for next week.

Great office. Dr. Cohen is an excellent dentist- explained everything, including my options for treatment. The staff is super nice and very efficient, reminding me of future appointments. The office is kept very clean and runs pretty much on time! Absolutely recommend specially during pandemic, felt very safe being there.

Super professional. All current Covid precautions in place. Quick and accurate diagnosis, smooth insurance claim submission. I will be coming back.

Thank you so much to Dr. Jaffer and the wonderful staff at Cloverdale Dental Group! I was extremely nervous to have my gum graft done but I am SO SO glad I did. Dr. Jaffer was awesome and made me feel very comfortable through the entire procedure. Highly recommended!

Went to this location because it was close and most places closed due to COVID. They have a lovely team of nurses and dental surgeons who provide excellent care. The clinic was clean and welcoming (despite social distancing) and they resolved my issues very quickly. Would recommend to anyone in a dental emergency if you can't connect with your own dentist!

Excellent Dentist. During Covid I had emergency and the service I got was exceptional. The staff are great and very helpful.

I needed to replace a small temporary filling before I see my dentist after lockdown, they charged me 300 CAD for 1 min of work process, literally! (although lady on the phone said it wouldn't cost more than 150 cad).
I felt shocked and disgusted.

Cloverdale Dental Group office is the best dental office I have been. Staffs at Cloverdale Dental Group are friendly and professional yet outstanding performance.
Victoria, a dental assistant, performs X-Ray photo very careful and very details in every angle. Each time taking picture she explains what being done. I like a screen monitor by patient’s chair showing X-Ray pictures that we can look and discuss right away. Victoria asked me about every tooth that had worked done before, when, why and how it was done. She shows me in monitor screen teeth that are in question and why and then discuss with Doctor Stern for advises.
My dentist, Doctor Stern is very friendly and hilarious sometimes that make me feel free and comfortable to ask questions about my teeth health.
Hygienist Ashley is one of the best, the cleaning was in details and carefully done. Even with my teeth condition, I do not feel uncomfortable at all during session. My teeth look and feel great after the cleaning. She asks questions, explains, and gives recommendation to maintain my teeth for best condition.
I like Cloverdale Dental Group that everyone is performing their best, take time to explain in details about my teeth condition and provide good recommendations. I also like it is located conveniently inside Cloverdale Mall, no parking issue and after each appointment, I can do grocery, shopping, food court, and all the convenience available in the mall.

Twice I had an urgent issue with my teeth and got me in the sane day and took care of me.

Attentive and completely competent in everything they do.

Their washrooms are consistently super clean.

I've had a few hygienists over the years, some I've liked, some not so much, but I have been seeing Susan for many years now and have been quite happy with her. She's also gentle, and proficient at what she does, no anxiety or discomfort during the visit. She is friendly, personable, and I look forward to sharing stories and photos of our kids as they grow up.

My most recent visit was to have a root canal performed. Dr Kevin Paterson and his dental assistant Indira made the experience as tolerable as a root canal could be. Dr. Paterson takes the time to explain what he is doing as he is doing it, what to expect during and after the procedure, and answered any questions I had. He even phoned personally to see how I was doing a couple days after the procedure.

Kevin has been my dentist since I was a child - 36 years now, and even though Cloverdale is at the opposite end of the city, the confidence I have in the care I receive makes the drive worth it.

I found the business to be very much self serving offering no reduced rates for senior citizens or guarantees. I would suggest to anyone having dental work done to ask for a written guarantee on the work they perform because of my experience, they would rather not accept any responsibility for any failures that may occur but would rather blame it on the patient.

I am impressed with the emergency service received at the clinic last week from the reception staff, dental assistant and dentist. Dr. Paterson's kindness and patience when going over the X-rays in detail and explaining the problem of my tooth and the infection it caused, that needed to be pulled. I also appreciate how quickly I was able to get an appointment the next day for the tooth extraction and treatment. Job well done!

The Cloverdale Dental Group has been the most professional dental group I have ever been to. As they cover all aspects of dental care you are not sent to other locations for special treatment as they have specialists on board to care for your needs. I have nothing but praise for the staff and my dentist Kevin Patterson. I have and will recommend my friends to this five star facility. Like all of us over the years we change like the dental staff, but there is one thing that has not changed and that is the high quality of service.

I've had a couple dental emergencies over the last few years and have been able to get same-day appointments and the appropriate care to resolve my problems. I'm in great hands at the Cloverdale Dental Group and trust them implicitly.

I have been a patient at this office for a few years now. I've seen a few dentist, Dr. Cohen, Dr. Stern and Dr. Paterson to name a few. Over the years, this office seems to have changed not only with the turnover at the reception desk but with the attitude of the existing staff as well. The last few times I've seen Dr Cohen and he has always been an excellent dentist but whenever he doesn't have an availability I would be informed to see his partner Dr. Stern. Dr Stern seemed like a great dentist in the beginning, almost as highly rated as Dr. Cohen, but the last few times I've been at the office, I've seen unethical treatment from Dr Stern towards his assistant and also towards the reception staff speaking down to them and getting upset. Not to mention the disgusting attitude from the practice manager towards the staff as well seeing her yell at the reception staff numerous times. I understand if someone is having a bad day but when treatment like this is enforced numerous times, it is uncomfortable to watch.

Expensive. I didn't like the way the front desk operates. Stressful and confusing trying to understand what my insurance covers and how much extra $ I owe. I switched to North Queen Dental in the walmart plaza.

I have been a dental patient at the Cloverdale Dental Group for many years dating back to 2005 I believe. I have been treated recently by Dr. Benjamin Stern. I have found Dr. Stern to be quite competent whhile ensuing as little pain is experienced during the dental procedures he performs. I was referred to their Orthodontic.area for a tooth implant. The service I have received is exemplary. I have canceled appointments in the past and rescheduled without concern generated from the staff. All the ladies working behind the front counter are very congenial and professional. They know what a patient needs and always seem to have time to administer that care while continuing to possess a pleasant disposition. Quite simply, they care and are good at what they do. It is a very difficult task trying to please everyone but they seem to be able to do it. The administrative staff are managed by Pat Grant. I have know Pat for a number of years and I can tell you that she takes her job very seriously. She has the ability to ensure that the office runs effectively while maintaining a pleasant attitude and disposition. Her focus is on her the dentists, including the support staff assisting the dentists, the dental hygienists all the while ensuring that the patients enjoy their experience visiting the Cloverdale Dental Group. I frequently visit the dentist office to meet with dental hygienists. I have two that I have met, Ashley and April. Both ladies are very competent, professional and also quite good at what they do.
The Coverdale Dental Group is a full service "one stop shop" that meet all my needs. I can find no reason to seek out the services of another dental office.

The pricing is slightly on the highest end. When I booked my original appointment the front said it’s only 39$ for Check up. So I thought perfect reasonably priced clinic. Didn’t expect my xrays and general checkup to end up being 250$. Went in thinking it would be industry rates 130$-150$. Disappointing I feel like I’ve been scammed and I certainly don’t trust their quote on my teeth. Will definitely have to find another place.

Dr. Stern is an excellent Dentist, he gets 5 stars. Anna is an excellent hygienist, easily 5 stars. I leave this review of 2 stars because of the office staff not being helpful. I made an appointment for my wife and son to see a hygienist and Dr. Stern. We show up, and only after they see the hygienist we learn that not only is Dr. Stern not in, but no dentist is available to see my wife and son. No one called me to tell me no dentist was available. I would have been fine to reschedule, but was never given that option.

After the hygienist was finished, when I inquired about why my family would not be seeing a dentist, they said "They don't usually work on friday's". I mentioned I booked the appointment requesting they see a hygienest and dentist, and the best answer they gave me was "well I don't know who booked your appointment". I spoke to the office manager and she did not inspire me with any confidence that this would not be repeated.

I don't think I'm being unreasonable when I make an appointment to see a particular dentist and a particular hygienist and expect them to be there when I show up. I don't think it's unreasonable to be upset when your time is wasted.

I hope to see Dr. Stern again someday, perhaps at another office.

Response to reply: At the time of the incident, rather taking responsibility and saying something to the effect of "we apologize for this, this will never happen again, we will make sure of that" (which would have easily won me back), the office manager chose to speak to me in a very condescending way, thus squandering 30+ years of future business for a family of 4.

Best dental office I have ever dealt with. Efficient, Courteous, Friendly Staff. Dr Paterson is professional & our hygienist April does a fantastic job. Would Highly recommend both.
We moved to Fort Erie, On and drive 2hours to our dental office, that's how much confidence we have in them.

After over 15 years since my last dentist appointment due to years of pain and fear from previous experiences, I decided to look after my smile. So glad I found Cloverdale Dental! Everyone, from the moment I walk in, from reception, my hygienist and Dr. Seitz and Anya have been amazing! Their patience and understanding have taken my fear away and make me feel very comfortable.
