Dealing with the builder and other transactions were fabulous except coast appliance. They only blame the customer. Visited them 3 times each time different person that had figure out everything again. All the excuses, one retired the other got sick. 4 days prior to my closing they don’t even have my order. Hala Jabr assigned my file to Sam Shahsamand… I found out after that his job is NOT to deal with builder files. Everything was confusing. Hala Jabr was the manager didn’t even a take a few minutes to speak…. She came out shooting. Rolling her sleeves in an aggressive manner while deep down inside she knows that they screwed up. They knew that they had my money because the builder had picked them for us already. She took no accountability or ownership. They made pay more for appliance because they didn’t have the originals I picked. Try Goemans instead. Much better. I don’t know why Regal Crescent even decided to deal with them

Terrible business, do not purchase anything from them.they demand for your money up front or they won't do anything, then once the deadline comes everything is on back order (Mind you we ordered our appliances almost a year ago - No one updated us of things being on back order) and they never give you a proper date, once it does randomly show up they expect you to drop everything to be home for them without notice.

Once we got our stuff still waiting for them to be installed, no confirmation or scheduled time nothing from them. This is shameful, once they have your money they stop answer your messages

April 12, Opened an service request (250384) as per Mobilio Customer Care for missing a cap at the bottom of my washing machine
April 15 - 20 being asked and provided Serial #, Tarion, Model # via 4 emails
April 21 - May 1 zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
May 2 tried to email to follow up and called 3 times, Left a msg and finally got an email saying the request has been circled back to builder
May 2, called again for more clarification and was advised Manager (Grace) will call back within 15 mins
May 2 no call back and office is closed

Issue is still pending for a missing cap

This is what happens when someone advertising “customer service” on radio, lol

We received our LG model wash tower from Coast today. We were extremely pleased with the installation team who completed the installation with efficiency and professionalism. They made sure both units were working properly before they left. Based on their professionalism we would purchase our next appliance from Coast.

I have Never Experienced this kind of customer service. Unfortunately My builder used this company for the appliances. Our sales rep Amy stopped replying to my emails. There is no way to contact anyone there. They don't answer the phone calls even if they do after so many attempts front desk people don't know anything they connect the phone calls to the sales rep but they don't answer its like going round and round. Nobody knows anything when the appliances will be delivered. I am still waiting for my original range. Luckily Tony (another sale rep) was able to help me and arrange for the range loaner. Now after 4 weeks I am inquiring about when will they deliver my original range front desk girl said it shows here all the appliances have been delivered.like you guys don't document anything what's going on with individual's account? I don't know how can I accelerate this issue. You cant reach to the management they don't come to the phone saying they are in meetings. I REALLY HOPE YOUR HEAD OFFICE GETS THIS MESSAGE AND SOVLE THIS ISSUE and I get my original range. I would not recommend this store to anyone. Its mentally traumatized with all the follow ups you have to do. It was my first and last time giving this company business.

I am very disappointed with your service. The electrical appliances I originally ordered were all delivered on March 16th, but only the refrigerator was delivered. However, the delivery person said that the refrigerator was too large and returned it. The second time, the same delivery person was unwilling to try and returned it. I asked them to leave the refrigerator and put it on the first floor for me. I spent $220 to have it lifted by someone else. Why can anyone else lift it up? Why can't you lift it up? When I bought it, your sales force forced me to buy it. I wanted to buy something from another brand and wouldn't let me buy it. Then my other electrical appliances were delivered to me on March 28th, despite my repeated emphasis, but they didn't help me install them? I bought a building without installing it? "This day has caused me too much inconvenience. There is no refrigerator, my food is broken, and there is no washing machine to wash my clothes. "

Dealing with Frank was amazing but after receiving our appliances I had issues with my dishwasher. Their customer service department has taken months to replace something that is still within a years warranty (and I'm still waiting). Samsung decided to throw me into a group chat with strangers where I was supposed to divulge personal information. This was not professional and probably the worst service I have ever received.

Customer service in this place is terrible. The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. I had a built in microwave that worked 3 times since it was installed in late 2021. After going through the warranty process, the unit was unrepairable and needed to be replaced. Coast was supposed to contact me after this decision in August 2022 to switch out the units but never did. Finally today, the good folks at Jennair took care of things and solved my issue. Don't waste your time with this company.and before i get a generic "Sorry to hear about your experience, please contact us blah, blah, blah' email, don't bother. So much competition out their with better customer service and more aggressive pricing.

This was our first time purchasing from Coast Appliances and the experience was fantastic! Our sales rep Tatiana was a pleasure to work with as well as Dimitri and the installation team at Appliance Wizards. I highly recommend both teams and will definitely be coming back in future.

Overpriced and full of attitude is what the sales staff present to you. Deception and false hope is what the website presents to you. Enticed by the promise of better deals in store, I arrived to find none of what I was seeking, overpriced rubbish in it's place, and a contempt filled response from the nearest staff member that I asked. I went up the road for a better product at a better price from a better retailer. This potential purchase, walked out and found happiness elsewhere.

Stay away as far as you can from this company. We closed a pre-construction home in September with Elm Development (another horrible company) and until now we don’t have the appliances. Jason has the worst customer service I ever see in my life. We are loosing money for not being able to rent our property, have all kinds of bad experience with Jason and this company. It is just HORRIBLE! Stay away!

Worst customer experience I’ve had in my life. Ordered a washer dryer from them. After being 8 hours late to deliver, the new machine leaked and flooded my place. Luckily the installer was there and shut off the water. After checking it he said the machine was broken. I called Coast and they proceeded to gaslight me basically questioning if it was truly the machine or my plumbing. They did this even after THIER installer told them it was the machine. So I had to wait a week for someone from Samsung to come - and they verified the machine was broken. Even the Samsung repair guy seemed confused as to why they didn’t sent me a new machine since it was brand new. I know right? Why wouldn’t people who work in customer service listen to their own installer and customers? Now I’m waiting for someone to get back to me (it’s been two days of leaving messages) to find out when my new machine will come. I also had the pleasure of dealing with the super rude, patronizing receptionist. I guess it stems from the top down. How the manager treats you will be how they all treat you. I’ve told them I’m going away for a few weeks and I need it before then but they honestly don’t care. It’s actually appalling how they stay in business with this attitude towards costumers. The good reviews are when things go right- but notice if you actually need help they are terrible. Please, please do not go here and save yourself the trouble. There are so many other great companies with Great customer service who will help you. That’s how you truly know a company- how they act when things don’t go smoothly. Absolutely terrible experience.

I've been going to coast for over 12 years. Through different stages of my primary home changes, I've always found the service and knowledge to be exceptional. My most recent purchase was to replace a washer/dryer front load stackable and Tatiana Brezven was not pushy and very knowledgeable. The price was comparable to others but the difference was the attention she paid to answer my emails or phone calls. I NEVER had to wait and she always followed through on staying in touch on the days she said she would. I get quotes for different places, but the other sales reps seem to have too many customers and can't answer me and my requests for quotes or updates. She always answered my calls or emails quickly and knew who i was. In the end, this level of attention and service, along with a comparable price is what wins me over to recommend her if you are looking for new appliances. Not to mention that with COVID, supply chain is an issue all over Canada with all vendors, but Tatiana made it her goal to help us out as best she could and we couldn't be more thrilled to get these items delivered as quickly as she was able to make it. Luck might have been on our side supply chain wise, but her sense of urgency and making me feel important and a valued client really made the process of buying from her really enjoyable.
Thanks again Tatiana for all your help. Highly recommend you look for her if you plan to visit Coast Appliances in Vaughn, you wont be disappointed with her level of customer service. You will feel like you matter no matter how big your purchase is.

Needed a basic fridge for an office renovation. Tatiana the sales rep understood my needs and quickly found a nice white fridge which met my needs perfectly. The next day she called me back stating she found a stainless clad fridge which was of better quality and at a better price! Fridge was delivered on time as promised. Good service is great but calling back the next day with a better value propisition is fantastic. Shows character. Highly recommend Coast Appliance. Ask for Tatiana.

Before writing my negative review I would like to point out that Wayne (sales) was a pleasure to deal with. I met with him in person and he made the purchase quick and easy.

Beyond that, the customer service after our order was executed has been inexcusable. We ordered our appliances in October 2020 ahead of our house closing date of June 2021.4 of our 5 appliances were delivered on time except for our stove.

Once the stove did not show up on closing day, were told it would be delivered in July, after calling back it was pushed to August, after calling back it was pushed to October, after calling back it was pushed to November, after calling back it was pushed to Febuary or March. The common theme being after I call back. Coast appliance has had zero contact with me regarding the delay in my order. They have not once reached out to update on a delivery date and every time I call I am speaking to a new associate.

I do understand product availability is scarce to due covid but that does not excuse their terrible customer service.

Horrible experience!
Received no assistance from the salesman in choosing my appliances for my new home. I had to choose them before the house was built.
Now I’m stuck with a fridge that’s too small ; a chimney fan with no chimney; not to mention I was forced to settle with a different colour than my appliances or I wouldn’t even get my gas range. I’m still waiting on my dishwasher and all 5 of my appliances were paid in full over 6 months ago.

Wayne has been great to deal with. He’s helpful, informative and professional. He answered many calls and emails from me inquiring about the delivery of our appliances. The girl booking the deliveries was also very professional and easy to work with.

Unfortunately through no fault of Wayne there was a lack of inventory due to the computer chip shortage. Be sure to ask if inventory is in stock before buying.

Very bad delivery and customer service. Don't expect that the delivery service will work smoothly for you. They are very bad in scheduling the delivery time, confirming the address and in fixing the issues.

They delivered my dishwasher to a wrong address! And failed to take responsibility for that. Instead of correcting their mistakes they are up to charging me again for delivery again. Yes, that's unbelievable but it happened with this company!

I have to say I usually get nervous dealing with appliance stores and larger stores. I had quite a run around with my new developed condo where I did not get much service. I am so thankful that I had coast appliances to deal with. They absolutely turned my experience around ensuring I was taken care of and ensuring my needs were met also with very quick responses. From Wayne helping me to replace my washer and dryer swiftly to Kelsie helping me exchange an item with a defect. Every step was managed perfectly. Kelsie truly ensured all I needed was taken care of immediately, keeping me up to date at all times without even needing me to follow up. She made me feel so supported and taken care of - I would recommend this team to anyone! Thank you so so much you turned my worries into joys. And that’s not an easy thing!

I have had two service call experiences with Coastal Appliances after purchasing a new condo and the service has been fantastic on both occasions. In this day and age, I'm always surprised how quickly they reply to your emails with a follow up phone call to address your issue. When you speak with them, it's clear that they have carefully read your email, understand your issue, and have already began to take steps to resolve it. When I upgraded to a new LG fridge from Coast Appliances it arrived and there was a dent on the door and LG refused to replace it even though it was brand spanking new. Kelsie helped me to contact LG and explain the situation. A week passed and Kelsie was able to come to a solution that I found acceptable and the part was replaced in a few days. He took his time to tell me all the features on a few appliances and also told me about up coming sales. During my visit I wasn't rushed or pushed in to buying anything extra. A Great Buying Experience!

Right from the start I felt part of the family in dealing with Wayne over the past few months while my wife and I waited for our new house to be built. Wayne listened with no pressure to what we needed and came through and hit every point to make our lives as simple as possible through their beautiful large assortment of appliances. Specially complemented by Wayne's exceptional knowledge in the field with great points and suggestions that helped us see our new kitchen in action. Worst experience. Never going to buy again from coast appliances Vaughan location. Delivered damaged dishwasher. Repaired after few reminders. Paid extra more than 200 dollars to install outside with technician for repaired dishwasher due to their carelessness. Many reminders sent by email to Wynne. He didn't reply for single time. I want to give zero star to their service.

Before I gave this company a good rating now the truth be told their customer service is atrocious and next steps need to make a complaint to the better businesss bureau or get a lawyer at this rate.

After a frustrating few weeks looking for an oven range and dealing with other major appliance companies who all lured us in with promises of lots inventory, only to find out they all had nothing in stock and tried the good old "bait and switch" to up-sell us on a stove out of our budget. Then we placed a call to Coast Appliances in Vaughan and spoke with Meghan. Sne was extremely cheerfull and helpful, double checked they had the stove we've been searching for in stock. She was incredibly honest and sincere and stated there were 2 left in stock. We rushed up there and low and behold they had our stove. We were ecstatic! Meghan and Elizabeth proceeded to process our order, answer any questions we had and set us all up. The nightmare of trying to buy a stove during Covid is over! We not only highly recommend Coast Appliances in Vaughan, we will definately be back for any appliance needs. Wish we could give them 10. Thank you!

The salesman was knowledgeable and professional however he would not accept credit card payments over the phone because of "company policy", according to him.
We knew exactly the product we were interested in purchasing and we had to make an appointment to go to the store in person "to verify" our credit card.
There are almost 1000 more cases of Covid-19 today. Our unnecessary trip to the store could have been avoided.
Coast Appliances please review and update your policies.

Very frustrated experience with this company!
Received the note that my order was forgot 1 day before closing. This order was sent 3 months before closing date. We were very cooperative at the beginning. We understood every person make mistakes and also the pandemic situation would cause a delay for our order. We changed our selected colors, even added some money changed to more expensive models to hope we can get these appliances delivered in a short time. At that time, the sales person told us each estimate delivery date of each appliance. We compromised. But now, 3 weeks after closing date, the major of appliances are not in our home! And no one can tell us a date for delivery! These sales people always told us they can not know a delivery date even estimated, and we need to wait. Very rude and don't want to help us solve the problem they caused.

This was without a doubt in my mind the smoothest and simplest major appliance purchase I have made!
Due to the present pandemic situation. I decided to use the internet and see what I could find.after researchIng, reviewing many options, I came across Coast Appliances. I decided to call. I was introduced to Grace Peron for assistance. She was informative and very patient with me, as I have not bought a dishwasher in 18 years!
The entire process from selecting a brand, looking at comparisons and of course price$ to delivery, install and recycle was seemless and efficient!

Bought a new home where the builder offered a "premium" appliance package through Coast. We then spent thousands of dollars in upgrades above and beyond the credit provided through the builder. Coasts salespeople tried further upselling to products we didnt need (We were actually bounced from one person to another mid-process), the upgrades we did take on have been nothing but trouble, we weren't offered extended warranty, and given the brands we were buying, they all should have been issue free foe a while. 3 years in, and nothing but problems: Subzero dual door fridge that we upgraded to has doors installed unevenly and not corrected, Wolf dual fuel range oven that we upgraded to doesn't bake evenly, Sirius Hood fan broke down, Whirlpool front load washer panel died, Asko dishwasher is chipping our plates and cups (and no, we had no issues with plates and cups with our cheapo Samsung in our previous house). I know that some of these issues are product related and not directly Coasts fault, but when you call their after sales people, without the extended warranty, all they will do is refer you to their recommended repair people. I am disappointed that they have treated us like a transaction and not a relationship, and not doing anything to stand up for their clients with what appears to be manufacturer issues, especially since their sales people were the ones who recommended most of these products. In this day and age, trust and relationships are vital, and they have neither from us. I have heard from neighbours that their experiences have been similar so ours is not an isolated case, and we will not be returning to Coast for our next home. If you do go to Coast, do your homework first, don't rely on their staff to sell you products that will last, and make sure to ask about extended warranties on all appliances.
In the end, the manufacturers have been very helpful when you contact them directly.

Absolutely the BEST appliance shopping experience. Joanne was awesome to work with. My husband and I went in expecting typical service. We both give Coast Appliances in Vaughn and Joanne an A+. Excited to complete our kitchen reno. Thanks so much for your knowledge and help.

Our machine was installed and is working wonderfully - so nice to get caught up with my laundry - it was getting pretty scary at the end there! Coast Appliances is lucky to have such a wonderful diligent salesperson - a rarity these days!

Did most of my communicating via text/chat prior to going in store, thus there was no surprises when finalizing purchase.

Great experience! Contacted the Vaughan Store at lunchtime today to see if they had freezers in stock. They also gave us a discount. Being a large family, this item was a necessity for us. Will definitely shop there again!
