This is slander. His product was backordered by the manufacturer so I offered him either a cheaper product that was in stock so he could get it right away (and then would refund the difference), or a more expensive model that was in stock and he’d have to pay the difference. Nobody can control manufacturer delays

We were in need of a new dishwasher within the week. We walked into Coast Burlington and were greeted by Kiran who was very helpful with several options and delivery within a couple of days. We chose a Whirlpool dishwasher that was delivered a couple of days later in the week. Kiran made the purchase process very easy with no pushy sales tactics and an appliance that met our needs. The delivery crew of three guys were great, on time and very friendly. They took the old dishwasher away as well. Overall a great experience with Coast Burlington.

Tyler Simmons from Burlington location was of great help! I didn't even step into the showroom since I knew what I wanted to purchase. He connected with me via the chat sales room. He was quickly responsive and went out of his way to get me the best deal possible and to have our washer dryer delivered pronto. The process from start to finish was quick and smooth. Well done Tyler for your attention to the customer's needs. Well done Coast for hiring this top notch salesman.

As to appliances, they're much much better than Home Depot. Because delivery to them is mean delivery not like what's mean to Home Depot.

June2022. Carm, helped us with our purchase today. Was friendly and helpful. Hopefully, products when received compliments the experience.

December 2022. After receiving 2 of the 3 ordered appliances I thought I would update this review. We picked up the range ourselves a few days after ordering everything in June but did not install it since we would start renovations in August. We were told the dishwasher and fridge would be delivered together in September. In November we finally installed the range and we initially had concerns about the fit and finish. A technician was sent out and arrangements were made to replace parts. But we canceled the order since we ended up fixing the problem (a crooked storage drawer pictures attached) ourselves.

The refrigerator was delivered during this time and when my wife started cleaning the interior discovered a puncture in the back behind a shelf that slides but should be fixed. See the picture. Something was missed in QA. We filed a complaint on this at the same time as the range and were told the refrigerator would be exchanged but it's now almost 3 months and Coast keeps updating the file saying they will reach out to LG I assume.

January 2023, Regarding the BOSCH dishwasher, we have had the delivery date changed 4 times now. I finally reached out directly to Bosch Cda. They confirmed they are still filing orders from 2021 as of the fall of 2022. I anticipate we won't see fulfillment until summer 2023. So some issues are the responsibility of Coast Appliances and some are the manufacturer. I hope to update this review that everything works out well, time will tell.

We needed a specialty stove. Carmen got it for us within our budget and timeline. Everything was great.

I operate a small property management and decided to use Coast Appliances based on a Radio Ad I heard on 96.3 FM. It was a great choice! The Coast Appliances team is friendly and knowledgeable, patient and willing to listen carefully to your needs. They quickly completed the orders and prepared all extra equipment needed. The team who delivered and installed the equipment was professional, careful and respectful and did a great installation of all equipment. I would very highly recommend the Coast Appliances team for your major appliance needs. The selection and pricing are also very good. You need to check out Coast before buying your major appliance, this is speaking from an engineer.

Thank you to Carm and the team at the store for helping us get our new stainless refrigerators & microwave. We had a few issues with the delivery guys (Coast uses third party companies), otherwise I would give a 5 star review.there was miscommunication, and the initial delivery guys didn't have tools to flip the doors around for our kitchen set up, and then the second crew tried to do it but the screw stripped so we couldn't install the handles.

Finally after a lot of phone calls, some store visits and very good customer service, the third time was the charm! Carm worked very hard to keep us happy, and sort things out, and we finally got the "Dream Team" of Paul & Steven from Elite - they are the absolute best guys, and if you can request them, you should! They are so professional, hard working, polite, kind and experienced. We wished that we had them assigned to us from the beginning, but we were so grateful to have them fix everything properly for us.

Carm was very resourceful and made all the arrangements and adjustments for us, pricing included. I have to say although it was very frustrating for my husband, Carm was really kind, and solution oriented. He did his best for us, and he's great to deal with. The rest of the team is very nice and willing to help as well. Coast offers a lot of choice in brands, and prices, and I would recommend them to anyone.

We went in to just look around after our dishwasher broke. We were greeted by Brody who was very pleasant and won me over when he wasn’t at all pushy AND spoke to me as well as my husband. I have often been out to stores with my husband where they completely ignore me and only speak with my husband so I really appreciated that. He was extremely respectful, kind, helpful and friendly. We ended up purchasing a fridge as well because we were so impressed by the service. Less than two weeks ago we went back to buy a new range/stove and over the range microwave and again were treated extremely well, offered free delivery, and Brody and the manager Rob were extremely helpful in researching childproofing options for us. In a short time we already have had them delivered. Would 110% recommend dealing with Brody; he is very knowledgeable in their products. He is very nice and none of them are pushy at all. Recently I had my washer stop working so I decided to look into purchasing a new washer/dryer set. With the help of the salesman Carmen Santino I was able to get a new set delivered and installed for a very reasonable price! He helped me through the whole process and kept me informed of everything I needed to know. The two installers did a fantastic job removing the old appliances and installing the new ones. I didn't catch their names but they were very polite and everything looks amazing, despite having very little room to work with they got the job done. We had an excellent experience with the Burlington store. Our sales associate, Brody, went the extra mile in researching the options for a new downdraft range.
He communicated with us throughout the entire process in a timely manner. He arranged the appointments with the gas fitter, Tony, which went smoothly and professionally.
We are happy with both our new range and the whole customer experience at Coast Appliances.

Would NOT recommend purchasing from Coast appliances. New homeowner (purchased preconstruction in Apr 2021) and it's been over a month since we've moved in and almost every single appliance is damaged, non functioning or not received. The Fisher and Paykel fridge doors have not been installed as they were dented, the built in JennAir wall microwave malfunctions every other day with an error. The LG washer is dented. The LG dryer has never worked (to our surprise after we washed a load of laundry). The range is still yet to be received and we've had to make do with a small single burner cooktop. The JennAir wall oven is currently sitting on the kitchen floor waiting to be installed (fingers crossed it works). 3 bar fridges have yet to be received. Truly unfortunate that this is our experience given a company that seems to have so many great reviews. Still waiting on a resolution from Coast appliances

Fridge decided to stop working, bought a new one from coast (previously bought a dishwasher and overhead microwave). Original delivery people destroyed my brand new front door and didn’t even install the fridge doors properly. They dented the fridge door too. The door they installed incorrectly led to condensation and eventually mould buildup there was some kind of extremely loud game show buzzing noise that would wake up my 6 month old coming from the back part of the fridge. Coast kept telling me for months that they would be replacing the door (this went on for almost 3 months). I finally had enough of them and after practically harassing them for a follow up time frame the agreed to replace the fridge in its entirety and I’m grateful they did. The second delivery was smoother than butter. From the second Paul and Jas showed up you could tell they knew what they were doing, They took time to measure the door and put down a mat to avoid damage. They were diligent and patient. My 5 stars are for Jas and Paul, everyone else at Coast can go fly a kite. As a company providing customer service you guys need to do better. The simple fact that my husband father in law and myself were doing follow up calls and emails every other week was so annoying. It’s a shame. Again a big shout out to Paul and Jas, you guys are the best!

I placed the order of my home appliances on Black Friday deal 2021 which was offered by Carmen. Things were going good till the time I have not paid the order in full. Since I made the full payment they started saying Products ETA keep pushing for further more which at some point was acceptable. But really story start when you really need the product. They actually trap you by offering attracting price and once you pay them they will force you to reselect the product which is higher price.

I was in need of washer and dryer as i have given them sufficient time for delivery i.e. 2 full months and i was been forced to re-selected my washer and dryer from LG to Electrolux which i did and paid extra upto $300 which i found out that happen to be faulty right after a week. I am still waiting on parts since last 5 weeks of my dryer which is brand new in box.

Now, again Carmen force me to re-select the dishwasher after waiting on it for 3.5 months and he wants to grab another $300-$500 extra from me which is really annoying me. Either i pay extra or he will refund me full which is useless for me after waiting for 3.5 months. So i ask him and his manager Mona that i should be compensate for it as you guys sold the product and now you want me to buy product on higher price which is not right.

Carmen open said it in email that if you want to make a complaint then do whatever it takes. Really! Is this the sales staff Coast Appliance hiring?

Coast Appliance as company can be good but stay away from Sales Rep and his lucrative offer. Just find and place order to Canada Appliances as they always used their website to refer products.

I made a super mistake trusting him. Please do not fall on his words. I have proof of his email what he wrote me and Mona Bahar support his words too by not replying on emails.

Please have some sales ethics, be genuine on your promise and stand by with your client who pays you in full.

Not having a dishwasher for over 3 months and finding it would take at least 6 months to get one with other retailers, it was refreshing to walk into Coast Appliances, meet Brodie in Burlington and find out they have the dishwasher brand we want in stock and can be delivered in a week! Loving our Asko dishwasher and the many features. Great service and great delivery.

We recently had to replace our washer & dryer and over the range microwave and decided to try Coast Appliances. The online assistance was great and the buying experience would have been exceptional if we had placed the order online and we would have been able to receive free delivery, but the installation portion of the sale had to be completed in person and we decided to purchase the appliances through their Burlington store, unfortunately we missed out on free delivery which is available for online sales only, live and learn. We won't make this mistake again. They also price match like many other appliance sellers. Delivery and set-up went well and their team arrived within the promised delivery window. Special thanks to Melvin (online sales) and Jasmeet (Burlington store). After owning a Frigidaire microwave, we're experiencing a problem, but Frigidaire has promptly arranged for a service call and parts are ordered to address this issue. I did contact Jasmeet at the Burlington store to retrieve some information, but this was supplied by another individual at the store. Jasmeet followed up after hearing about my microwave issues and I think this level of customer service sets him apart and appreciated. I would choose Coast Appliances again.

We went to Coast appliances and were greeted by Carmen Santino. He made our buying experience an absolute pleasure and will go back for any future purchases we may have.

Today we had our new Coast Appliance's delivered. We purchased a Maytag washer and dryer! Carm was our sales guy and he looked after us quickly and matched us up with some good appliances that suited our needs. When it came to the delivery and installation Jaz and Paul looked after us with the same pleasant and professsional level of service. Great experience all-around and I will definitely promote and continue to use this company for any future appliance need that our family may have!

We have never been into this store before. So glad we went in. We were impressed! A handsome store - with a lot of high end appliances, but other more modest ones, too.

CARM assisted us in buying a Whirlpool refrigerator/freezer. It was the exact model that we wanted and we were able to actually see it, too. A bonus. We were delighted with him - he was highly professional, knowledgeable, thoughtful, personable, genuine, and he did not pressure us at all. A 2nd bonus is that we get delivery in under a week! DELIVERY - We just had our delivery on the day promised. Very impressed with the 3 young men who came - AUBREY, DONOVAN, and ANTHONY. They were very pleasant, polite, professional, and they answered questions patiently. They worked so well as a team in carefully removing the old refrigerator (which needed its doors removed) and equally carefully in installing the new one. They took good care with our hardwood floor. The experience was quite different than some reviews here. Unreliable. Poor attitude and service. After talking to a nice young man, we were asked to wait for a sales specialist Robert as he was finishing up with a customer. After a long wait, Robert is seen ignoring us, attending all the white folks coming after the black and brown, disrespectful. Again after a long wait finally when someone named John attended, some how bushed us off with a lack of interest. Didn't end up providing the quote. What's happening to our Canadian culture and business practice?

If this is the start what would have been the end?

Finally we ended up buying a Subzero lineup from Best Brand Appliance in Burlington. Excellent customer service.

The management at this company truly cares about customer experience. I purchased a few appliances from them which were all delivered and installed professionally. I did have an issue regarding a return for an item and the behavior of one of the sales associates and when I escalated the matter it was dealt with professionalism and timeliness. I felt my concerns were looked after in a very professional and empathetic manner and I ended up buying more appliances from them for that reason. As a Burlington local I highly recommend this place for your appliance needs as they have lots of variety (including many high end Euro brands) - and more importantly: they care about customer experience which is quite important when you're spending so much on long term fixtures for your home.

I purchased a microwave from Carm.
It is for my mother in law who lives at Hearthstone here in Burlington.
She is 85 and I explained this to Carm.
He was very helpful, and recommended Tony.
Tony is a private operator as Coast doesn’t do its own installs.
He said it would be $170 to install which included delivery, or $200 if he needed to put in a new plug.
We set an install for this week, and when I called to confirm?
He said it would be $200 as he had to pick up and deliver.
He had already agreed to the price and suddenly the day before?
He ups the price.
SCAM!

So…
Now it gets worse…
Turns out that head office has problems with way the Burlington store handles delivery and service!
Their customer service rep from head office can’t even find Tony from E and T A ppliance installations as a recommended vendor!
They then told me I should find my own installer.
Making their problem mine!
Wow!

The Mrs suggested we try them, worst customer service ever! Made my decision easy to not buy anything from them ever! Went to a few other competitors and got the royal treatment with regards to service (how can we help you, what features are you looking for, price point, delivery date needed etc). As we were getting in the car, my wife said " Well I guess they just lost the sale! " I could have agreed more.

Coast Appliances is a large appliance store on Appleby Line just south of Dundas Street in Burlington. From the time of our arrival, we were looked after extremely well by Carm Santino. He was forthright, non-pushy, honest and very helpful. I told him what we were looking for, he understood immediately, and proceeded to show us everything applicable they had in stock. I particularly appreciated the fact that he did not try to up-sell us or bad mouth the competition. He was very frank when discussing the strengths and weakness of each brand, and Coast Appliances has access to the full range of appliances, across the entire price range. He was also very honest about the availability of each model and each brand in this time of Covid. He offered a generous discount on our package (fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher) and our bottom line price easily beat that offered by their competitors. I would highly recommend Coast Appliances in Burlington, and Carm Santino in particular for all your appliance needs. Go pay him a visit.

I Purchased Appliances for my new house at the beginning of June (Washer, Dryer, Fridge, Stove, Microwave and Dishwasher) was told they would all be available when I moved at the end of August and that it wouldn’t be an issue. A week before delivery I was notified the stove would be delayed 2 weeks. I thought not a problem I can manage 2 weeks without a stove. When the delivery came the Microwave was missing when I phoned I was told that had been delayed now too and there was no ETA. I have now received a phone call to inform me that the stove has been delayed again this time another 2 months. The only answer they seem to have is I’m sorry there’s nothing we can do you just have to wait.

Ordered and paid two items for almost a year, one of the item never arrived, called the contact person and left voice message, never get response, and I keep receiving advertisement emails everyday from this company, I don't know what you are selling, just letting people pay and wait for years to deliver?

Nothing but a terrible experience from the start. Purchased a fridge in the beginning in June to be told it would be in stock end of July. Called to check if it was in, to be told early August. Then it got pushed to early September. From the first interaction I had I informed them I could only do deliveries on Saturday, which I was told was fine. The fridge arrived and they called to book a delivery date, we booked for Saturday September 4 and I paid off the remaining amount. Only to be called today for them to confirm my address, which was wrong, my name, which was wrong, and to be told they don't do deliveries on Saturdays all of the sudden. There's absolutely no way we're taking off work for this, since it already should have been scheduled properly. I don't understand how hard it is to do your job.

I was very pleased with my experience at Coast Appliances. The gentleman that served me, Carm Santino was attentive to our needs, gave us options and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable! Carmen was also very honest which we appreciated. We will be doing business there again and recommending Coast Appliances to family and friends.

Most recently we bought a KitchenAid package from the Burlington location. We were extremely satisfied with the service that was offered to us by the sales person Jasmeet. The staff are very friendly and polite. If you are looking for great pricing as well, talk to Katen Kak the manager, he will take of you. I would highly recommend this place.

Purchased a washer from big box store last week they damaged it on route then expected me to wait another week before they would give me a new delivery date.
Looked online and found the washer here. Called and they did not have it in stock but made a call and got it delivered from Vaughan to the Burlington store the next day so I could pick it up the following day. Absolutely a pleasure to do business with.
Big box lost a great customer but these great people at Coast gained one.

Bought my washer/dryer from Coast Appliances during the Pandemic. I needed them as soon as possible. Parvinder Singh helped me through the whole process of trying to find washer/dryer combo that was right for me - The units came sooner than expected - except for one of the pedestals - when it was delayed - Parvinder answered my emails and let me know shipments were delayed - the minute it arrived we were called and I am happy to say the second pedestal is now in its rightful spot. I couldn’t be happier with my new LG washer/dryer and pedestals - I am glad I called called Coast. Next time I need appliances (hopefully after the pandemic is over) Coast is where I will go!

We had done our homework before purchasing our new fridge but were pleased with the information shared with the Coast service representative. Unfortunately with the double door, a hinge posed a barrier to one of our kitchen cupboards opening fully. We contacted Carmen, our sales representative who recommended another refrigerator and had it replaced in 2 weeks which we felt was exceptional during Covid times. Service, product choice, price and delivery were all reasons we will buy our future appliances at Coast.

A family member suggested we check out COAST appliances after we had a bad experience with a big box store.

COAST was night and day difference, Carm was our associate and was incredibly helpful answering my questions and making product suggestions. All of our initial communication was done via email due to COVID and he was very quick to reply. The purchase experience was seamless and quick and our new dishwasher was delivered within three days of our sale and they price ended up being the best we had found for the model we purchased

He excelled in knowledge and customer service, answering my many questions! He was able to provide the specific model with a speedy delivery date and superb customer support. I am extremely pleased with my new Kitchenaid fridge, Model.which replaced my old Kitchenaid fridge of 19 years.

I utilized the online chat function to speak with a sales person after hours. They were extremely helpful, answered all my questions and fully support our transaction on the next business day.

Our sales rep, Parvinder Singh was very helpful from beginning to end. We purchased the Cafe gas slide in range along with the GE profile fridge and the GE profile microwave. He was open and honest about delivery dates, but he managed to have them delivered about 3 weeks before expected date. He has been very responsive in replying to my emails and phone calls. Had THE most pleasant experience dealing with the staff at Coast Appliances - especially Jaipaul. Jaipaul worked extremely hard to find us a dryer after ours died. It was unexpected, so our budget was limited. Jaipaul called me daily with updates on new appliances and finally a washer and dryer set that fit our budget. I was able to pay for it and have it delivered within a couple days! We are so very grateful for the amazing service we received from Jaipaul and the team at Coast Appliances for all their hard work!

While other appliance stores could not commit to when we would get our new appliances (we have been waiting 6 months and counting - for an update) - the team at coast was super helpful.

We were able to visit the store (post lockdown) and speak to a knowledgeable sales rep, order our refrigerator and schedule a deliver date all in our first visit.

All staff were pleasant and professional. I did not feel that I was being stalked by a school of sharks at coast the way I do at some other furniture and appliance retailers.

I was very happy with our experience and would certainly recommend.

Coast appliances in Burlington exceeded my expectations!

After the company with big yellow trucks totally messed up my order for 4 appliances and did nothing to resolve it I approached Coast appliances on Friday and they had all 4 delivered to me 3 days later

We needed to replace our fridge during the lockdown. We were very lucky to have Parvinder (Parv) Singh help us to find the exact fridge that we needed. He worked quickly and was always easy to reach. Our new fridge is now running well, keeping our food nice and cold, big thanks to Parv and the delivery crew.

Staff is pleasant but limited in store options. You are most likely going to need to order your appliance rather take it home right away that day.

Jerry was very helpful and genuinely looked out fo my interest in terms of $avings. Was very patient and thorough regarding selection of appropriate appliances.

After spending a large sum on new kitchen and laundry appliances my experience was very disappointing. The sales staff was more interested in making a sale without listening to me and helping make the right choices for my needs. They are supposed to be the experts! Would never deal with them again. Even one star is too high.

The salesman focused claiming he's all about the service but wasn't as helpful to try and give me a deal. As a customer, we all prefer deals, but if the salesman from the beginning is firm on not offering anything.you lose the joy of purchase.

Excellent customer service!
The store itself seems a bit intimidating with all the high end appliances but there are some seriously great deals here. I spent $600 on a new Blomberg dishwasher and couldn't be happier.

Edit: The washer went into an error code and won't operate. The next available time I was given by the third-party repair service is November 20th. I've had this thing for less than a week. And I'm seeing the store itself doesn't take them back. An exchange would be nice. Clearly this is a fluke, as I've had two people tell me this brand doesn't often come up needing repairs.

The lack of after sales care is pathetic. They keep telling me they're handling it but it's been nearly a month. I should have gone with my instincts and bought from Home Depot or Lowe's. I've never have issues like this with either company.
