I recently got a remote car starter installed here and Sven and his team went above and beyond to ensure it was installed correctly. Exceptional customer service. I'll be going back.

To start i will said the place is nice and clean with a lot of displays which invite you to ask for question, I went to get a hitch installed for my ebike (75lbs, 4"tires) my car only support a 1.25", 200lbs max, when ask a manager for a bike rack she show me one model which I really like and was able to accommodate two bikes as long not as not exceed 150lbs, I was happy and ready to buy it for $599.00, she was nice to offer me 10% discount, while the hitch getting installed I look through out the rack box then went online and find out bike racks also have max. Load capacity and the rack was about to buy is rated for 75lbs only, I was really upset that's when I met Tristan a young guy who ask me if there anything I could help you with? I explain my problem, he understood really listen soft tone apologetic and start searching for a bike rack to accommodate my needs he found one, show me a picture and the rate capacity for two ebikes, and fits 1.25 hitch, I felt relief and hopeful again.what a way to handle a difficult situation? To end my experience I will say,
1. If you want information about a product that will fit your needs see Tristan not doubt.
2. If you want a better price see the manager.

The million dollar question,
would I go back and shop again?
Would I recommend Cobra Car and Truck Accessories to a friend?
I believed the staff is knowledgeable, the worked performed is professional, I don't know many shops around here and the prices are fair, I say as long as you ask questions and have done your investigation about a product, Yes.

Allen accommodated me and took me in quickly, the work was well done and in a timely manner. Tristan also answered all my questions. I look forward to my next visit at Cobra.

Hi I ordered hitch for my Nissan Rogue at that time they said 2 business days but it will take 5 more business days fine that’s ok. Finally I went to cobra Dundas location for install the Hitch. Office people were good. I wrote this review for who drove my car inside and take it back out side. They will ask my car keys to assemble hitch to my car. I gave them then they installed in 45 mins and gave my keys. Then I directly went to home then I found my front bumper two sides lot scratches because who drove that time I don’t know they hit and drove in insufficient place. If they did any wrong or hit some thing even they did not told me. Very bad experience for me. I never visit again because of careless people. Next time please check your car before leave that place. I hope may be it will helpful for some one. I don't understand why it is not possible to give a ZERO star rating. You have to earn one star.
Small businesses complain that business is going wrong. Therefore, building stores are only open until 4-5 pm. If you want to buy something to renovate your home, you have to take a day off because on Saturdays and Sundays these shops are also closed. But.if you go to the Cobra store at 10 am, if you see that the store is empty - there are no customers, if there are three sellers behind the counter and they talk to each other, you think that you will be served. Three are standing, talking to each other and will not even turn to the customer who entered the store and. STANDING at the counter. He is standing and waiting for one of these.do not write anything that will make the seller feel bad. So I'm standing - because I wanted to buy something in this store - I'm standing and waiting for someone to notice me. I know - I weigh 220 pounds, am 180 cm tall, orange jacket and hardly noticeable. I stood there for a while, saw the vendors have me in.you all know where they got me and I went away. Terza waiting for a response from Cobra with apologies, with promises that they care about customer satisfaction and such various stupidities that hardly anyone believes in. Of course, this whole situation may be related to covid, because, as you know, the pandemic has made life difficult for everyone. But fortunately, not all of them have a change of mind, and not all will allow themselves to be treated that way. Or maybe Cobra has no problems with the supply chain, with the price of containers, with the availability of goods. They may be doing great business, but not with me. Jarek Kozera

Go here if you like dealing with miserable, passive aggressive betas who work slow, feel the need to take long breaks, and chit chat worse than 6 barbers.

I normally don’t do testimonials, but in this case and with Cobra, will make exception. The whole event was totally what one would like to envision. From my first contact, Allen, who helped me secure the best backup beeper for my new Toyota Rav 4, and the complete job done by Don and Marcin. The finished product looks like the beeper was factory installed. We don’t kno how much we miss something until you don’t have it. Thank you all for great job well done. Douglas

Really good place to install car accessories like dash cam or remote start.
They have great selection and professional installers.
Only thing I would recommend to them is to provide WiFi for customers, so you can work while waiting.
It's not a big investment- actually small business packages are even more affordable than residential.

A bit more clearer explanation in the products chosen would be greatly appreciated.

Great service and going the mile for the customer. Prices are affordable and work with your budget. Overall had great experience at cobra and the tech did a great job on transfer my truck accessories for old truck to my new truck.

I have been servicing my 2 vehicles at Cobra for past 3 years. They have installed a remote start unit on a Mazda as well as a back up camera on a Toyota Rav4. They are very knowledgeable and know their stuff not to mention very understanding of my needs/issues. Had a minor issue with the starting unit last week and was in and out within 45 minutes.
Highly recommend to give them a try.

Had my 2014 Ram rustproofed here every year since new recently found rust went to body shop got a estimate to fix rust went to Cobra to show them and hand delivered the estimate for repair have not heard from them since no e-mail or phone call terrible customer service as i had been going there a total of 10 years with my other vehicles plus had window tinting and remote starter installed there too good customer treatment like this not warranted

Allen helped me today and I can say he was GREAT! Would highly recommend coming here. There very honest and knowledgeable. Definitely charge less then other places and there customer service is good. I walked in expecting to pay a lot for my new system and walked out with more savings. Thank you. I will be coming back!

The work was completed well. The rep in the morning was pleasant and amazing. The rep in the afternoon told me to wait a minute and disappeared for 10 minutes. The rep that brought the truck to me and let me check out the work was great as well.

The work was completed in a timely fashion, I was just disappointed a bit by the customer service at pick up.

Nonetheless, Cobra was reliable and delivered.

Great store with great products. The people are great and they offer all kinds of services. They did a great job on installing fog lights on my car, but it took a bit more time than expected

I had a new trailer hitch and wiring supplied and installed on my van here. The hitch is nicely tucked up under the hitch and wiring terminal receiver fastened securely under the bumper. The products and work done looks great. The staff up front are knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. The store appears clean with lots of spacing and separation shields at the main desk. Highly recommend!

Great service! I got an appointment for Autostart repair for a very next day after a phone call. Everything was fixed in less then an hour, very professional team and reasonable prices.

I ordered bushwacker fender flares for my truck. I picked my truck up just before dark look at it at a glance was more exictied than worried to inspect it. I went up to cottage in wifes vehicle that evening and when I got home sunday afternoon I notice a small chip on front fender flare. I had emailed the store that evening. No response after 2 business days. I then called spoke to someone at front desk they said owh yeah were about.to email you. It's now been 3 weeks not a word. Is it my job to rectify this. I have better things to do. Its minor point is paid a pretty penny and should get a complete product. If I left a customer unanswered I feel ashamed of myself. I did nothing wrong in this situation except not notice until 2 days later. I shouldn't have to spend my time energy or gas to go to store to show them. Sad cuz I liked the store and I wont be back

I’ve had my Tahoe oil sprayed twice and have been very happy from the front line staff to the service performed. Professional from start to finish.

Best place for truck parts, just make sure you talk with Kevin! I've been going too this place for years but this week I was looking for new rims and tires for my ram 1500. With a budget of $2500 I though this was more then do-able till one worker told me it would cost a lot more. After 5 minutes Kevin asked me what he could help me with and I told him that the other employee told me that $2500 wasn't enough for off road rims and tires, he had a shocked look on his face and within 30 minutes he found me exactly what I was looking for. (The other employee didn't even open his computer) thanks too Kevin I have new rims and tires on order for the price I wanted too pay. Highly recommend this place for all your truck needs! (only if you deal with Kevin or the manager of cobra)

They ordered me a hitch on Monday and was able to install it on Wednesday! Price was exactly what they quoted, hitch install was quick and looks really well done. Their staff is very friendly as well.will go back for other car modifications.

BEST service and prices for my hitch and wiring. Allen was amazing he ordered the hitch at 10am and we had it installed at 2pm same day. Everything was done professionally and clean plus much cheaper than Hitch City on Dixie Rd Mississauga. **Hitch city told me 3 to 5 days for the part to come in while the part was in stock at Curt in Brampton**. ONLY GO TO Cobra they are trully the BEST!

Its OK I ordered liner for my truck took about a week to get guy said should take a couple days they never called me to tell me it was here I had to call them 3 times. I was trying to install the liner in parking lot and guy said if you can go around back to install it lol what a joke like they charge you to install a bed liner that slips right in probably won't go back there I would not trust them to install anything I'll go to action

I had a wonderful experience (today, December 29,2018) at Cobra1,1076 Dundas St W in Mississauga. I called them two hours before store closing and they were able to accommodate me into their schedule the same day. They were honest enough to tell me that they could not reprogram the remote starter (which was quite old), but it could easily be done at Kia/Hyundai and they provided me with the instructions to show the dealership. They provided an alternate solution and provided me with a quote in the event that the dealership's fee is too costly. I appreciate their honesty and integrity. While I was there, I inquired if they could install a mudflap, and they did so with twenty minutes before store closing at a reasonable cost. I received excellent customer service and they exceeded my expectations. I would gladly return; and, I would gladly recommend them to anyone, anytime.

I was recommended to come here from a friend, I had purchased a new truck from Toyota and cancelled the work I had asked them to do after talking to Kevin (he is a great guy to deal with) no complaints with him. So I had to wait a couple of months to have my bed liner sprayed but I had my Westin side steps fitted shortly after getting my truck.
I had an issue that I wanted Toyota to look at and upon them inspecting the vehicle they told me in the report that the side steps had loose bolts and asked me who fitted them (I didn't tell them). I called Kevin and explained all this on the phone, as not to complain in store where people could hear.
I then travelled back on a Friday to be there for 08: 30 to have the long awaited bed liner sprayed in, upon arrival I was told it would take around 3 hours. So around about 12pm still no word so I approached the front desk and asked, to which I was told they are having problems with the mixture. Delay would be about an hour.
So after the hour I go back and now to be told they couldn't do the job as a seal was broken and they did not have a replacement.
I asked what we would be doing going forward as I wanted to give them the opportunity to fix this. (I understand these things happen, it's how we remedy them that makes the difference).
I was then asked to settle the bill and as a good will gesture they would give me $50 off of the bill. I explained that there is nothing to pay for as they couldn't do the job and to offer me $50 is an insult as it costs me more than that in fuel to drive to this location, not to mention the time I spent there for nothing. - Turns out this guy wasn't aware that the job hadn't been completed.
Kevin intervened and said he would talk to the owner and see what can be done, and would call me. He [the owner] didn't even come out to apologize.
Almost a week passes and no call so I called Kevin to be told that he had still not heard from the owner, so with that I said I would go somewhere else.
To sum it up, great customer service from Kevin and everything after falls way short of the mark. I will certainly not be going back here nor recommending to anyone.

Worst customer service ever. I wouldn't even give one star. I was forced too. Came in to get advice from who are apparently is a registered compustar dealer and one of the older sales agents there all about making money. Worst part is if my car starter didn't work after the techs willingness to observe without charge I would have paid to get a new one installed from Cobra. The agent suggested just to try to sync the controller to the car, he would charge me half an hrs worth of labour. Horrible customer service. A word of advice from a big bank retail manager. The best way to get a referral is by providing a helping hand. You failed.
