Fish powlichathu vere level. I love their food. Designs on the wall recently changed but I love the previous one.

Had a perfect brunch, lots of South Indian delicacies, best fish curry and mutton masala. Very courteous staff.

Just had chicken biryani and beef roast with kerala parathas, excellent food, great service, quantity was generous, definitely worth to visit again, manager John was very helpful and gave good explanation of various dishes in south indian menu

The food at Cochin Delights is exceptional. We choose vegetation item only, The Masala Dosa, Naan & Kerela Parata was fresh and tasted at best with Dal Tadka (one of the best Dal curry i ever tasted).
Must try the "Kuluki Sarbath" (not sure I got the name correct) - a spicy Pineapple Juice. It's an interesting combination of Pineapple Juice with, lemon, salt, sugar & green chillies topped with soaked poppy seeds.
Service was great and helpful selecting and suggesting.

I lost my patience with the guy serving us. Felt like forever waiting for the cheque. Stood up to pay at the host station, we were given a cold shoulder. Overall restaurant’s Hospitality was pathetic.

Food is good. However, the service is horrible. We were 3 people on a table and our food was served one at a time in 20 mins interval and we waited 25 mins for our bill. It looks like the staff have been forced to work. Never ever going back.

Our relationship with cochin delights dates back to the week they inaugurated in London, with a catering order for 100 people for an event that we hosted. The food and service was excellent.

In the years following, our visit to the restaurant waned since we saw a decline in the taste and quality of food.

In the recent few years, we again started to dine in and to our pleasant surprise, the food tasted great. Myself being a passionate cook, we usually avoid dining out, but Cochin delights now has become our go to place for our south Indian cravings.

The food is beyond delicious, ambience is pleasant, service is courteous and prices are gentle to the wallet!

Kudos to the cooking, managing and serving team! Keep up the good work!

It was very disappointing. It was my second experience that i drove 70km to the restaurant and the dine in was closed 2 hours before the closing time.

Pros: Ordered food was excellent.
Cons:
Limited menu options when compared against other Indian restaurants. Typical starter options like samosas, onion bhaji, etc were missing. Surprisingly, they did not have any naans either yesterday!
Women's washroom had no soap and had a bucket under the sink.
Men's washroom urinal was blocked off and the soap appeared to be quite diluted.
Given the dismal washroom conditions, it makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is.

Food was good but the customer service from the guy who was in his late 30s was very pathetic, he even have a mindset that people will come back to this plc whenever they feel hungry, as they have no any other options. And he has an condescending attitude whenever we ask for anything. So this is not acceptable from a restaurant like this as they were having some amazing customer service earlier.
Either u have to train them or replace the staff to the backspace where they don’t have to deal with customers, As at the end of day it only matters (not to him -only for the owner)

One of the town's top south Indian eateries, with omg so wonderful taste. They are fully aware of the customer's expectations and satisfy them in a stylish manner. The atmosphere is like HOME and the staff is incredibly helpful and pleasant to us. Highly Recommend.

The food is average and their service is the WORST I ever experienced.

This beautiful restaurant cuisine can also double up as a party place for family gatherings for every occasion. It's got lots of space for people to even dance while also enjoying the delicious Indian food. My husband and I enjoyed our meal and loved the music and also the layout of the restaurant. More people should dine here and also book parties.

Its been longtime having kappa and meen curry loved the experience. Flavour travelled a longway from London ️ Windsor. ️

Being a regular here, I can say the food is a hit or miss.
When most times the food is good quality, there have been times when I was outright served substandard food that was not fresh (biriyani and kappa)
Though the staff promised the management would look into it and get back to me, that never happened.

If they improve the consistency in quality, this would be one of the good choices for kerala cuisine in London without doubt.

Honestly the taste was so good like finger locking good, but doesn't satisfy the price for the dish listed. Less quantity and high price but good quality.

Food is tasty and different. Staff is always nice and welcoming, whether on phone or in restaurant. Reasonable priced, never felt expensive. Always on time for pickups.

I had a hair in my food so they changed it right away. Staff is great.
When we got in they said we need reservation they let us seat but said please make reservations from next time other wise you wont be allowed. I just dont get it place was empty there were only 3 tables of may be 2 or 3 people each.

Tasty food, small portions, pricey as heck. But did I mention tasty food? The serving barely satisfied the hunger

Great food. Kerala Porotta and Beef were too good. We tried chicken chathachkoottiyath as the starter and I'm sure all the spicy food fans will love it.

Yesterday me and my friends dineing here, we ordered chicken biriyani, that was so bad, taste like oily, (rancid oil) we never expected this from your store, really disappointed.

Me and my friends had food from there and the food was not that great. We ordered butter chicken and butter paneer and it was too sweet and no other flavors. Mutton pieces were too chewy in the biryani. But their drinks and dessert were very good.

3.34 Pm order the food due to dine in they allowed only at 5 Pm.said it will be ready within 20 minutes, Food ready at 4,36 Pm then we asked only 20 minutes left we will dine in - but they refused more over - an year old baby along with us and requested two spoons of rice for the baby they refused and didn't give it even we ordered 6 Adults food. Customer service is extremely bad and pathetic the attended girl's attitude is un professional and never ever seen in any where in Canada. Food is okay but doesn't deserve any appreciation due to the behavior.

Friendly staff and amazing service The spiciness may not be for everyone, those who cannot do spicy, it's better if you give the staff a heads up but for those who prefer Indian level of spiciness, you will love it.

It's a good Kerala restaurant. You won't find a lot of varieties of menus. I personally liked the porotta and beef, mutton curry and the kulukki sabrath. It's a good place to dine in with your family.

I bought food from there on Easter day it was tottal failure duck muppas they advertised but it was stew and not good flavoured I never have a bad experience like this which I bought food before.

Pathetic experience yesterday.
We were given cold Paneer Butter Masala sabji and also it was all watery. The gravy was not at all thick and tasted too sweet as well. When we tried to tell the staff about the quality of the sabji, they made bad faces among themselves which was extremely sad sight for us. Adding to all this, the sabji contained more paneer than gravy. When we told the staff to change the sabji, they gave us back only the quantity that was left in the bucket and i have not seen such poor serving standards for any restaurant at this level.
We had also ordered Gobi Manchurian and the quantity served for 9.99$ was not even worth 5$.
We have visited this palce earlier as well but it was not like this at all.

Food is always amazing! Staff are very friendly and have been extremely helpful navigating around my husband's nut allergy. The vegetarian options are fantastic! Would highly recommend Cochin Delights.

Today I have ordered Nadan chicken biryani from the restaurant, it really taste like homemade food. The chicken is well cooked and rich in spices. Moreover, server in the front is very friendly and they treat us like a family member. I like their service very much.

We ordered mutton biriyani, chicken biriyani and king fish curry in the London location. All the meat is chewy and overcooked, almost inedible. I threw out all the mutton because I couldn't chew it. Both biriyanis are really oily. We order south indian food a lot but unfortunately this is the worst I've tried. We didn't like anything from our order. Will not go back again.

The food was awesome! I tried their chicken biriyani and kozhichatach kootiyath. It was just awesome and excellent customer service.

The perfect biriyani hub in town. Quantity was more than enough for 13 people. We always make last minute orders and they never messed up. Thank you for providing us with the authentic Kerala biriyani.

Amazing food, great ambiance, very friendly n happy staff. They definitely know how to live up to the name "cochin delights" Definitely worth a visit.

The curry tastes ok. The butter chicken is just tiny pieces of meat. Need to scoop very hard to find a piece of meat. The decor is ok. Staff is quite efficient. Overall disappointing.

Yesterday I went with my friends and one being strict Jain and rest bing vegitarian, We ordered hot & sour soup and to our surprise we had pieces of chicken in our food. Some of us found out after eating it. Apart from this, no body come to us as they were not sorry. If you're vegitarian, please think before you go. It wasy 2nd visit and I don't think so I'll be visiting next time.

Amazing food ambience and service. Infact it's as close to possible as far as Indian (Especially Kerala) Food is concerned. The people running the restaurant are friendly and helpful. A few more vegetarian options will be great to have however overall can't rate them below 5stars. It's actually authentic!

Good food and better customer service. They made the restaurant atmosphere amazing with songs and musics. Me and my friends recommend this place for a good weekend food and this place satisfies us.

Very terrible experience. We spend around $100 and got really bad quality food. The chicken inside the biryani was so frozen and tasted really bad. When we complained about it they took it and heated in the microvave and gave it to us. It tasted really bad. Very bad experience and won't recommend this place as they try to rip you off.

Went in personally to order. Young lady at the front took down my order and my name and said it’d be 30 minutes.

I went away and came back in 35 minutes.

Upon my return, that same young lady advised that my order was not yet ready and that it would take yet another 30 minutes.

I got the feeling that she forgot to place my order with the kitchen in the first place.

No offer to expedite my order, or discount, or have a manager come to me to explain what happened or apologize.

It was my first time there and my last time there. Shame - never tasted the food and probably never will.

When it comes to London, ON, you don't really think of finding variety in cuisines and that too ones that provide an authentic experience as possible. My cousins studying in London heard about this new place and we thought of checking it out for dinner and we were quite happy with our experience.

Ambiance/Cleanliness: Ambiance was average. It's quite a typical setting with not much frills or fanciness. The restaurant and the washroom were quite clean. The only weird feeling was that if it's a Kerala restaurant, I expect Malayalam songs to be played especially with the amazing music that this region produces. I was quite disappointing to hear only Hindi songs playing in the background. It could have been the right balance of Malayalam and Hindi songs at least.

Menu: We were given both a specials menu and a regular menu. Adhering to it's Kerala roots the menu predominantly featured the favorites. Many sea food varieties, followed by chicken and beef dishes. The soups section was quite a misplaced section with predominantly Chinese items. They could have avoided this and have some classics like pepper rasam, pepper, chicken soup etc. Also the section on Chinese cuisine seems to bit off, given that it's Kerala-Indian cuisine. I am sure people can find better Chinese places in London. It was also quite surprising to not find Appam/Puttu etc.in the menu which are classic Kerala Items. But given the location of London, I am ok with having a menu featuring North Indian dishes catering to that demographic as well. But definitely they should put away the Chinese items.

Food: We ordered a mix of items both from the specials and the regular menu. We ordered the Avoli Cherulli Peralan (Pomfret in banana leaf and spices), Koondal Dry Fry (Calamari fry), Mushroom Masala, Masala Dosa, Roti, Veg Biriyani, Kulikki Sherbet and Mango Delight as drinks and Elaneer Pudding (young coconut pudding) as dessert.

I would say the flavors were slightly above average. It could have been slightly more better in flavor. They have tried hard to be authentic as possible but the flavours need to shine a bit more. It was a bit underplayed in my opinion to completely enjoy these items. The cuttlefish was a fried a bit too much and the masala was also too much. So the flavor of the cuttlefish didn't come through. The fish was probably the best out of the lot. Good portion size and ratio with the spices added. But the flavor could have been better. The mushroom curry was more north indian style which was good too. Could have had more mushrooms as the tomato and onions were a bit much. Masala dosa was a tad bit less crispy than what I am used to, but the flavors were alright. The veg biriyani was typical. The Elaneer pudding was also decent. I would say my favorite out of the entire lot was the Kullikki sherbet drink. It was an unusual drink with a mix of sweet and spice. Gave a nice kick when we had it.

Service: The service was quite good. A bit mellow on the enthusiasm but it wasn't bad either. They kept on forgetting the utensils for the dishes but that was a minor issue.

Verdict: Overall it was a good experience. Given the location I think it would have a lasting run. My only suggestion is to not reduce the authentic flavors. We can be mindful of the "hot" levels but the spices should not be compromised. There are enough North Indian restaurants everywhere. Stick to the Kerala dishes primarily and that would be your star factor. If they work on this (given that they are only few weeks old) and maintain the current standards on other areas they will have quite a bit of a cult following.

The best South Indian restaurant in the town. Courteous service and great food. Their Dosas are the best.
Great place for family/group. I would prefer them over any other restaurant in town.

Great food and service! Finally London has authentic Indian food and super affordable prices. 3 main dishes 3 lacha parathas and mango lassies for under 55 including taxes. You can't beat that. The did take a little while to come out, but that's because it's being made from scratch, but is worth the wait!

The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to in Canada. Best place for those who are missing indian food and for those who love to try the Indian cuisine. Welcoming ambience, friendly staff and moreover delicious food. Really had a great experience. Cochin delights, keep up the good work:)

This restaurant is true to its name "authentic Indian cuisine". In fact, the cuisine is that of Kerala, a southern state in India. I eat at this place during my every Toronto visit from the US. As you drive through London, it is a quick detour well worth it. Truly mouth watering fish curry dishes (must have!) and even the Indo-chinese options are fantastic! All the spices and oils used in cooking are very authentic and brings you the taste of Kerala quite literally! The staff are very friendly and it is usually not crowded (apparently it was opened recently). A big thumbs up to the crew, and I so hope more such authentic restaurants open up in the US as well!

Best dish was the mango meena kotu fish mild spicy I like spicy but for people who can’t even take mild might have to ask them to remove the chilies. But amazing dish can’t stop taking take away to revel in that taste again. What is life without some spice amazing dish can’t stop complimenting it I surely want the recipe but alas. Also try the Kuluki drink it’s like pineapple with a hint of chili that was good. Keep the up the good work guys.

Great Food, Good Ambience and Well Organized Authentic restaurant. A must visit for all Indian Food Lovers will not be disappointed.

I am giving a One star review based on my bitter experience there today.
(This was my 1st visit. I have absolutely no complaints about their food. All the items I ordered were very tasty and delicious. I loved the fried rice and chicken gravy) BUT
I won’t visit this place again because of their service.
My order included a mutton dish. They served a similar chicken dish which I did not order and I was 100% sure about the dishes I ordered. However, me and my friend realized that that was not what we ordered after taking some in our plates, then we called the waitress and told her about the mistake. She was denying at 1st that it was her mistake and finally she said she is going to ‘CHANGE’ the item. After some time, while we were eating someone from inside came to our table and asked the dish back. Fine! We gave it back. Then keeping us waiting for 20 minutes (meanwhile we lost appetite) they served the mutton which we had to take away.
Finally, when we asked for the bill, she gave us the bill where she included the price for that chicken dish that we didn’t order and she took back. If I hadn’t checked the receipt I would surely pay the bill. I asked her again to change the bill. Then finally she deducted the charge for that dish. Her behaviour was very harsh and We didn’t expect this sort of attitude.
Very very disappointed. I am warning everyone to be very careful and please double check the receipt and make sure you are not getting overcharged.

I tried buffet lunch today and I can say that it was a complete rip off. I paid for staying hungry as there wasn’t anything in most of the dishes. The few items I got are aloo tikki, bone in chicken kebab and rice. I suggest you to keep a fish net instead of spoons in fish curry and chicken curry. No fishes but plenty of kudampuli in fish curry. I would say to change the name of fish curry to kudampuli curry.
The staffs are friendly than the ones at Mint leaves.
I think you owe an apology to all the customers today. I’ll no more visit this place. Whoever had food from this place have similar stories to tell. Very disappointed in wasting my money!

I had a really bad customer service experience. Waiting time was more than 1 hour even after ordering take out over the phone. Customer servant should be more accurate with the timing. They told me food will be ready in 15 mts, and asked me to wait 10 mts each times when I asked them. Waiting time is ok, but please try to say the approximate time while ordering. I have some health issues that is the reason I ask the waiting time when I place order. I was sick after waiting that 1 hour and 15 mts. Please improve your customer service. On the other side, The food was really tasty with enough quantity.

I can confidently say it's one of the best Indian restaurants in the city. Exceptional food and service. I also love their Tandoori Chicken served fresh. However, I did wait a while, but it was totally worth it. Must try restaurant in London.

Well, waiters are communicating in Malayalam which is so disgusting. Service is very poor, seems like they didn't get trained well about the customer service. Music was too loud and annoying, and of course the wait time is above the limit.

Such a disappointing.

The wait time is painfully long. I waited for 45 mins on a Monday evening. The food quantity for the price is very unsatisfactory ($5 for hand hand full of plain rice). Service is poor, they do not give any serving spoons to serve the dish with. Would not visit again for such a disappointment.

The food is amazing and the ambiance is cozy and perfect for a time away with family.
The food waiting time was normal and was worth the taste as the curries were cooked fresh in the kitchen (which certainly tasted like it)
The service is also warm and welcoming. I think I just found a perfect Indian Fine Dine restaurant in London, Ontario.

The food was really good, love the Kerala flavours as always. The biriyani was extremely spicy wish they would tone it down a bit.

Worst experience. Never get cheated with their buffet. 1 fish curry, (hard to get fish from it), 1 chicken curry (no taste at all) 2nd a butter chicken (hard to get chic piece from there), 2 kinds of rices. Chicken soup (hard to get a chicken from it). Thoran, Dal curry (worst). Never get fooled like me. I read all those good reveiews and got cheated self. Ensure what they have for buffet.then go for it. That was the mistake i committed.never do it, rather find some other place.

We ordered Meenu Uruli fish curry and Masala Dosa both the dishes were delicious, especially the Uruli fish curry was very well and freshly prepared, had an amazing balanced taste, the curry had a nice texture too. I appreciate the cooking skills of the chef who made that curry. This restaurant is way better than the other present Indian restaurants in London. Will definitely visit this restaurant again to try more amazing dishes and drinks.

The hospitality recieved was great. Especially the girl. With the short hair who. Served us gave great explanations about dishes and also kept a bright smile throughout making us feel at home kerala

We ordered masala dosa and shrimp starter and both were really delicious. However, the service can be improved, hence 4 stars.

Last week I visited Cochin delights with my family. Food was absolutely wonderful and delicious from preparation to presentation.we really enjoyed the beef fry. I would surely recommend this place to all the foodies. The ambiance of the restaurant is so good. Will definitely like to go there again.

Happened to visit Cochin delights last night. Was very impressed with my overall experience. The dine in is vast and spacious with a cozy feel. The food was absolutely delicious and had a lot of quantity as well. Staff was very courteous and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone to come dine here.

We have been in London for more than 45 years and now we found a real Kerala restaurant. We (2) went for dinner on April 13th and enjoyed the food. Our stater was excellent. The main dish that we ordered was very good. We had to wait only 15' to get the food. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly. The owner came to talk to us. We will go back to taste the buffet sometime next week with our friends.
