Coco Fresh Tea & Juice

For the times I have been there the service is fantastic, the drinks are affordable and they taste amazing. The staff are hard working and kind, highly recommend!

Drinks I personally recommend:
- Lemon winter melon
- Brown sugar pearl latte
- Bubble Gaga
- Mango Yakult
- Jasmine Milk tea

The staff were great and you could tell they were doing their best but critically understaffed. Just lines of online orders and not enough staff to fill them promptly.

My go to bubble tea place, no sugar is sweet enough. Price is reasonable compare to other places. Bubble is not as good as the alley.

Went in the middle of the day, employee looked like I was disturbing. At least they help with drink suggestions and my order tasted good

Trash customer service
Usually buy 2 drinks and bring to my car. As I was sitting down in my car, one cup fell and split open, bubble tea splashed everywhere. Went back inside and explained what happened, most places would cover a replacement drink, as the cups are cheap. They basically said "not our fault" had to pay in full for another one. They said since it didn't hqppen in the store, nothing they can do about it? OK sure. Cups from Starbucks or Tim's wouldn't fall apart this easily. Taro slush was delicious, but not impressed with how they handled this incident.

There was a foul smell in the building, half the lights weren't working or were flashing, the bathrooms weren't in service, the garbage can was 'out of order'? There was only 1 employee (they did a good job though) 3/4 of the menu displays were off, and the menu was VERY limited (probably due to the displays not working). The drinks themselves were fine but nowhere near redeeming the place. There is a Tiger Sugar nearby which is a better option for bubble Tea IMO.

TL;DR: The single emloyee was fast, and did a great job, but the specific place itself sucked.

The staff is so nice! I had received something different than what I had asked for and not only did they redo my order in a timely manner, they gave the other one for free! The fact that they chose to give instead of wasting the wrong order is very respectable and it's a sustainable choice! They were very friendly and made such a good bubble tea, it's the best one I've had so far!

Used to like this place a lot but it went downhill recently. Multiple times that I went recently there is a bad smell inside the place. The drink doesn’t taste as good as usual and the service is extremely slow.

In my opinion, the best bubble tea is sold here. Great flavour and good portions. Brown sugar is always a go to.

Coco has by far the best bubble tea, specially milk tea bases, in all the big chains. Always have amazing services despite the little pay the workers get. Today, May 9th, I went and was super satisfied to hear the music playing was TXT! Nice little detail considering their new album came out today, really pumps the happiness in the air if you know hahaha! Anyways, I always alternate between 5 ish drink at Coco and never once have they tasted badly. The tea base has a burnt taste to it that I absolutely adore. Have been visiting for the past 3 years (whichever Coco location I'm closer to depending) and I don't think I'll ever stop.

I used to be a regular customer at this location and I’ve accumulated quite enough points for free drinks. However lately whenever I wanted to order, their brown sugar pearls were always sold out. So I had to buy my drinks elsewhere since BSP is my favourite. Not sure why they continue to run their business this way? It’s been more than 5 times in the last 2 months

Bought the mango slush, tasted like blended ice and water with artificial mango flavoring. Definitely never coming back.

Former worker of this store. Management was terrible. The manager (owner) was racist and discriminatory towards black or muslim individuals.she would force the employees to fire/hire people based on their race and no respect towards the workers AT ALL, would talk to her employees in such a rude manner in front of customers. Teenagers/Students running the store since there was no manager, and only 1 supervisor. Didn’t pay us enough, took a big amount of tips and payday was always late because she would forget the paycheques. I can’t believe this place is still open and she’s running the store like nothing happened. It should’ve shut down months ago.

Not sure why I don't go here often. Their bubble tea is amazing and somehow cheaper than all the other big places!

Won’t let customers use the washroom or wait for 3 minutes inside after making a purchase. Rude staff. They didn’t even say bye after kicking us out.

Clean place, quick service and delicious bbt.

My favorite bubble tea flavor is the brown sugar pearl latte or the regular milk tea less sweet, half ice. Love the modifications you can do.

Every time I go and place the same order it always tastes the same. I really like the consistency because I can't say that about other places.

Very fast and convenient with using their App. The App could also collect rewards. 10 points can exchange 1 any size and any kinds of drink.

Only tried the teas, not the food. Service courteous, fast. Teas taste great and you can choose the amount of sugar and ice.

Love the interior design as well. Looking forward to using the space once the pandemic is over

I’m very pleased with their place, even though it’s pandemic, they can control the crowds. The reason why I gave 3 stars it’s because they change the flavour of the bubble gaga. It’s super sour! It’s used to be a perfect flavour, now it was like your drinking a lemon juice without sugar.

When the waitress helped package the cups, i spoke Chinese to her, then she told me she can only speak English, the interested thing is then she turned to somebody else and spoke Chinese? This is a kind of discrimination and i felt so angry and uncomfortable. I hope your store could give a better training for this unrespected and awful customer service!

One of the best bubble tea franchises. They have the best most friendly service. And it's always quick no matter how busy. Keep up the good work.

The bento boxes are delicious! Reminds me of Taiwan's street foods:) (sometimes a hit and miss, depends on the person making it)

They sell regular food along with bubble tea by a joint shop. Taro slush was good and decently priced, and fish cakes were tasty. Would recommend.

Love strawberry slush with bobba! Their pearls are just made so good, perfect amount of chewy and sweat

I had such a bad experience from this location. I gave my order and i was waiting in a line. After like 7-8 minutes i ask the girl about my order that was working at front cash. She replied me in a very rude way. Her words were " can you wait there, It's not ready" they took like 15 minutes just for 2 drinks. I have to give 1 star but really i don't even want to give 1 star to this.

Ordered five different drinks for takeout on the app. The app estimated ready in twenty minutes but got a text for pickup in ten minutes. The staff were really fast workers. The drinks were all delicious. Very generous with toppings. The only complaint is one drink had grass jelly and it wasn’t cut small so it could go up the straw

Hi I'm dad. Tea very sleepy, driving not recommended. Tommorow I'm going to see my wife, FINALLY. Thanks to the staff I can see again.

Edit: went in there last week and ordered a Jasmine milk tea. Left the store and drank it in the car. Whew I took a sip, it was disgusting cause all I tasted was milk powder. There was no tea flavor. I opened the lid and my tea is white color. Did they just give me water and milk powder? Total fail

I usually like Coco milk tea over other bubble tea places because of its stronger tea flavour with creamier taste. The milk tea I had here today was not what I expected from Coco. It lacked tea flavour and cream, too much water.

All the best of bubble tea is only at Coco Fresh Tea and Juice. I'm very satisfied for everything from this store!

Go to bubble tea place. It's even better now that they're in merrivale, grab the locationxmonopoly while you can! I'm not complaining.

So so good! Love how you can customize the sugar content of the drink and the amount of ice. The lineups are still long as it’s new but so so worth it!

Went in at 6: 45 pm ordered drinks and fry chickens and was told they’re closing at 7: 00pm today. Should of told the customers earlier, not 2 mins before they’re closing. The lady was rude and want us to leave asap. Wouldn’t visit this spot anymore.

Ordered pearl milk but I was told I cant adjust sugar level, but I order it with 30% sugar before. So I had to get it with 100% sugar this time. It is not even drinkable. 100% means you will 100% get diabetes when you finish it.

I always like their drinks. And no matter whenever and wherever Coco which never make me disappointed.

The bubble tea and pearls are excellent and I love that there are options for sugar and ice. I'd give it 5 stars but at this location since late fall/winter the shop is absolutely FREEZING, as in way too cold to take off your winter coat to enjoy your drink. Usually friends and I get our drinks to go because it's just too cold to stay. If they change this and make the store an actual comfortable temperature, I'll adjust my rating.

New school bubble tea! I was pleasantly surprised to try coco bubble tea. I have so far tried coco, pearl milk tea, and the matcha red bean. The flavours are different than any other bubble tea place I’ve been to. The flavours are fresh and imaginative. There is a few different options for jellies and even red bean as a topping. So far the coco has been my favourite but I enjoyed the other ones too. The price point is fantastic and the pearls were fresh and tasty. I just wish they had a few of the traditional flavours.

No one beats the bubble tea at coco. They have hands down the best flavour, consistency, and service.

We love Coco Tea. It's very busy but the service is still as quick as can be expected. They are all very friendly and the product is delicious.

This brand of milk tea is particularly good to drink, used to be in the city center, now here also opened a new place, the location is very convenient, indoor sanitation is very clean, service is also in place in particular.

Really great bubble tea and delicious fruit drinks! This location has alot more space and booths to sit in so it's great for studying. My favourite drinks are bubble gaga and 2 ladies

Bubble tea was delicious as expected from Coco. Service was fast and very friendly. I love the new location, and once they open for lunch hours I'll be going there a lot more!

Came in and it wasn’t that busy. We ordered two drinks and stood to the side and waited. Then it got busy. And then they started calling out orders for people who had come in after us. Our order number was 38. This went on for 20 minutes or so until we got back into the line and waited to ask the cashier why our order was taking so long. By then they were calling out order 48. She looked confused and took our receipt and went “oh we were waiting on the mango it’s ready now” and hands out drinks to us. What could have been nice was if someone had just mentioned to us that they were out of something while we were waiting so we didn’t feel like we were forgotten or ignored. Not impressed by the level of customer service from staff. Hopefully it’s a one-off.

Coco is the best bubble tea place. They are the only ones who have real fruit slush with the tapioca. Every drink on their menu is actually good, and does not have a weird artificial taste.

Coco has the best bubble tea period. The roasted milk tea is awesome, better than Chatime. Unlike the location on Bank St, This location on Merivale is very convenient. There is tons of parking and the store is large with lots of seating. It is not fully open yet but it looks like they are going to be a combined Coco and Chi Chop Taiwanese food location. Merivale is getting tons of new and interesting places.
