WOW! I was wanting to go to Cocoa40 for a while now. I couldn't choose what I wanted to get but I set my mind to dark chocolate almonds, dark chocolate sponge toffee, vanilla ice cream sandwich and a chocolate vanilla gelato ice cream. EVERYTHING tasted amazing and I just can't have 1 almond. It's a great store, filled with tasty chocolate treats and a kind atmosphere. I will certainly be back!

We had Cocoa40 supply the wedding favours for our wedding. From look to taste, the team did an amazing job! Our guests loved them.

Great place. Very clean and courteous staff. Gelato is very fresh and you can tell they use real ingredients. Screw Bene Bene and their grumpy owners with artificially flavoured ice cream. Go here, you won’t regret it.

Got the medium pistachio and raspberry ice cream and it was so tasty! The pistachio was super nutty and they didn't add food coloring to make it green. The raspberry was super refreshing to eat. They give very generous portions for the price. Totally worth it. The ladies serving us were very nice and cheery.

Really high quality chocolates with beautiful packages. There's quite a variety to mix and match for everyone to enjoy a new or old favorite flavor. Beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. Only! The downside is the price Your wallet definitely feels lighter when purchasing this high end quality product. Very nice staff. I'm sad I can't buy more

Recently discovered this local artisan chocolate and gelato shop in Newmarket. Recommended by my boyfriend and I just had to try it. The lady I spoke to over the phone was very kind and helpful as I was inquiring about different types of gelato available. Tried their pistachio gelato and wow was it delicious! Excited to experience their assorted chocolates and other gelato flavours next time. Definitely must try.

I had the most enticing occasion recently to sample some very delectable locally made artisan chocolate creations by Cocoa40. I confess like many others, chocolate is one of my weaknesses but I have in recent years attempted to be be more discriminating as to what I allow to cross my lips. I’m of the mindset that If you’re going to indulge then you should make the effort to select quality rather than quantity and quality is what I pleasantly discovered with Cocoa40 chocolates.
What an odyssey of tastes these chocolates are for both the palate and the eyes! These delicately hand painted petits bijoux forms are stunning enough to make you want to wear as jewelry to a night out at the opera. Cocoa40 creates lovely Byzantine almond jewels, arabesque lantern shapes, and little post modern crescents to name just a few. I sampled a charcoal triangle shaped chocolate hazelnut both nutty and sweet, a dark chocolate Earl Grey with its subtle aromatized tea flavour. My favourite was the dark chocolate espresso: creamy, smokey, nuanced, with a light bitterness that lingers in your mouth.
If you want to make a statement for that special person or occasion I highly recommend these treats. Just abandon yourself to temptation and indulge in a little decadence. You won’t be disappointed.

Unbelievable! Art in a box. They were so beautiful that we were afraid to eat them. They were so good we ate them all.

Got the Father's Day Box for my dad and he absolutely loved them. Had a hard time making sure all the chocolates weren't eaten the first day!
