Visited this location on a Tuesday afternoon. It was fully packed. Beautifully decorated with Christmas decors still on Jan 2.
Staff were very nice and welcoming. There was one particular staff who was in charge of cleaning. He was very diligent. We arrived and the group sitting at a table just left. He came over to wipe the table for us. A gesture not normally seen in a cafe without a wait staff!
Later when I went to use the washroom, I saw him again thoroughly wiping down the washroom sinks and handles. Thanks for keeping the place spotless!

It always feels like a welcoming, warm environment here. The staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and provide good service. I always get the chococino, and it's always made just right. Prices are generally and relatively affordable as well for the higher quality that you get. Variable menu selections are available for different tastes, and there is ample seating room for either chilling by yourself, meeting friends and family, or a nice study session.

Update: I've sent two emails, the first one was actually before posting this public review. No response.

Truly disappointed with the 'customer service' we received the last time we went. Coffee Culture was our go-to spot for years, especially for weekend brunch with our little one. Now I'm not so sure.

For some reason they decided to argue with my husband about his order, something he had gotten SO many times before. They accepted the order, took payment, then proceeded to serve the incorrect item.

If someone requests no cheese, it's sad to see you can't accommodate this simple dietary need and then go on to argue with them about it.

He simply said he didn't want it anymore and to just give him a muffin instead, and instead of trying to fix the issue, they CONTINUED to argue with him. Not exactly how you want to spend a Saturday morning. He refused to take the bagel and gave back his coffee too.

Please do better.

If the coffee isn't made good, Mike and Lisa here could care less. You bought the beverage, now drink it how we serve it. There's no replacing.

I have been coming to this Coffee culture for a long time but never have I ever gone through such embarrassing and unsatisfactory customer service until now.
I ordered a decaf latte (expensive but tastes amazing) so I'll always get it. Today it didn't taste very good after I let it sit for 30 min while grocery shopping and came back to the store to get it replaced, by now it's 45 minutes since I bought it. I request it to be changed, employee doesn't want to change it anymore because it's been 45 minutes. First time ever I've heard that petty excuse. Then he calls a lady named Lisa, who tells me it's been long and if sugar is missing I can add sugar. How do I enjoy a nearly cold latte now, and what if sugar was added but not stirred. Common sense and good customer service says just replace it and save yourself an arguement with a committed client. But no. Not here.
Lisa calls the owner, who'd also like to get paid top dollar for his lattes but not sta d behind it or give two craps about customer enjoying their beverage. Mike, who owns the store but skipped the class where they teach you customer satisfaction and wants to make sure the $4.99+tax beverage is not replaced, tells me 45 mins is unfortunately too long and I can take sugar along my now cold latte. Is it worth an arguement and waste of a second trip for me, most likely. However he uses that $5, I hope it's worth losing a client. If you can't run a business, and lose regular customers, I doubt you'll stay very long. My favorite coffee shop just went from 10 to 0 in a matter of 5 mins.

Buying on regular basis caramel ccinos and it a sweet drink, when I brought up that it’s not sweet at all for what manager said she can charge more for extra pumps of sweet. I paid 6$ and was expecting the same drink as usually I buy, instead left disappointed in service. Loved this place, loved this drink, but not anymore.

Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, clean. I come here several times a week and they even remember my name.

Very good atmosphere and humble staff.
Very fresh bakery food. I went there with my wife and we had a Flat white and Pistachio Muffin. It was a very fine espresso and fresh muffin.

Used to come here to study, get work done but they have removed the power outlets, no way to charge the laptop or cellphone. Other than that, nice cafe, good coffee and food, but only good for takeout.

Surprisingly, their breakfast sandwich is pretty good compare to fastfood restaurants, even though the pricing is very similar. Also, their salted caramel latte is pretty good too. Overall, I think this place is a better option compare to fastfood with a very comparable price

Food was good but i felt really unwelcome when i ran to get change from my car and one of the worker said out loud (thinking i had left by then) to another worker “yeah she’s not coming back”. Workers need to stop judging others and stop putting a general statement on everyone.this goes under bad service.will not be coming back here and will not recommend to others.

Came to this Cafe to do some work and have some coffee and snacks just to find out they dont have WIFI.pretty disappointing and not impressed

Absolutely ridiculous. There is no wifi and this is the first coffee shop I’ve ever been to with NO WIFI.
There is no sign that indicates that and they wait until you spend your money for them to tell you.
The OVER PRICED iced coffee was also HORRIBLE and the staff is RUDE.
JUST GO TO THE MCDONALDS ACROSS THE STREET - you’ll have a better experience.

Food was decent but not worth it compared to the obvious cheap service. It's clear the company values money over customer satisfaction. Went in there, ordered food and drink and realized there was no outlet. I thought okay fine. Fair enough considering some people buy a simple drink and take up valuable seating space for hours on end. But later on when I asked for wifi, they didn't have that either! Every business I have gone to offers their customers wifi. I stayed there for a bit and then really wanted coffee but wasn't going to waste my money there since they dont bother to have the courtesy of giving their customers wifi. I decided I would enjoy McDonald's sub par coffee with access to wifi across the same plaza.

Their cafe tea latte was like literally flavored water, iced tea tasted like it was fermented and the chicken ceasar wrap tasted like the chicken was not fully cooked and when I asked the manager if I could exchange it with another item. He was like you will have to pay for it again whether you like it or not. Very bad customer service.

The coffee is good, but don't expect to get any work done here on a laptop.

Coffee Culture stupidly does not offer WiFi to patrons. For a higher end coffee establishment, this is absolutely unacceptable. McDonald's in the same plaza offers WiFi, so why CC can't offer it is beyond me.

Also, from what I saw, there is only 1 set of outlets in the dining space. Again, unacceptable.

I really like the atmosphere, good coffee. This is a good place to study or chill with friends. The drinks and foods were all tasty. If you’re up for a fresh place and coffee then this is a must to visit.

Not impressed with the size of the Asiago bagel BLT the cappuccino was alright while the red velvet muffin and scone were really good. Space is inviting with gracious staff only 1 washroom for male and female as for the WIFI not k just to meet with friends kind of place

They have lost their touch. Not open to people who would like to get their work done at a cafe. Outlets are covered and the one available has a not use for public label on it. I was literally told to not use the outlet. And it's ONLY this location. Lakeshore location is fantastic!

I get order Iced coffe and she asked me Did you want milk? I told for her a little she added all the cup then I wanted to change all the order she added some coffee only to make more dark colors she didn't change my order.

I went there yesterday for a caffe mocha I always used to come here every Saturday always something is wrong with our food but this time I ordered 2 cafe mocha 1 was all good the second is cold it seems its an hour old and she gave me and i get back to her and she microwaved it and gave me again and then i went again she start fighting and said i am not gonna make another cause i made it so its right she was a african girl with curly girl she was soooo soooo rude. Never going there again

Staff and food are good but I gave a 2 because this used to be my favourite study place but they stopped their free wifi and closed all the plugs. I really hope they get the wifi and plugs back then I’ll change my review.

Heads up: if you are coming here to study or work, this cafe has 0 outlets as they have sealed all outlets. Furthermore, THERE IS NO WIFI. I understand that they are proactively trying to change their target customer but bad business move because you should be banking on their business. Overall disappointed. Staff was really nice but management gives really strict instructions.

It’s a cafe so you would think they have outlets and wifi but nope. They got rid of their wifi and blocked the outlets so this isn’t a good place to come to of you want to get work done. The prices are the same as starbucks so you might as well go there to work since they have wifi and outlets.

Weird, I used to study and work for hours on a table but they decided to get rid of the wifi so now I just go to starbs. I wonder why they would do this, it’s so unheard of for a cafe to have no wifi or outlets.

I wish i can give negative star. I went in morning at 8 am to get my coffee and breakfast. I wanted to charge my laptop to check my emails. I plugged in my charger in one of the outlet, in few sec the supervisor GURLEEN came and ask me to vacate the spot citing policy that we dont allow to charge laptops. I didn’t want to begin my day arguing with her, i ask to cancel my order and leave but she also didn’t cancel my order. This is not how you hire supervisors who has ZERO communication and hospitality skills. There are other local coffee shops to explore rather than spending your money on this where you can not use wifi and charge your phones.what a shame!

We dine in at 6h45 am they serve us The café in paper cups, we ask him for the mug but they said that they aren't able the wash dishes at this time! Wired and bad service don't what we expected from this coffee as I used in centinial location

Thanks for the amazing service & even more amazing food. Shout out to Erin and the other gentleman who's name I didn't get (sorry), who whip creamed my strawberry lemonade like a boss!

Once the red-pepper spread in the veggie wrap hit my taste buds, I was in another dimension!
Y'all I ain't lying! Please go ahead and head out to this establishment if you want GREAT food!

Went in for the first time to Coffee Culture to get a Espresso.
The inside of the store was sectioned off due to COVID protocols, however it looked warm and inviting and allows for a lot of natural light to come in.

Staff was very quick and helpful, and prices seem reasonable as well (it was $2.99 for a double espresso).
The espresso itself was good, but it wasn't as intense as I was hoping for. It was smooth and full bodied, just didn't have that bitterness I was looking for.

Seems like they have a pretty full menu as well, serving coffees, espresso based drinks, baked good, and sandwiches.

Location has ample parking given that it's in a plaza, so very accessible.
Willing to change the review based on trying other products, as this one is based solely on my espresso.

Very bad service, unprofessional, 3 hot drinks served on paper cup and 2 cheesecakes served on paper box for the reason " we didn't have washed mugs and dishes and we will not wash them anymore today" as said badly by one of the employess of the coffee.

We’ve been going to this café for so many years now either with friends or families. I would say that this is our HAPPY place. We’ve shared so many laughters and great memories here along with the great selections of drinks (hot and cold) and wide varieties of pastries we had. They used to have this staff where we became friends with. He always make this special waffle and we keep on coming back for it. Their sandwiches are truly amazing. As what the owners (Mike and Jessica) always say, they always make it with love. Thus, it tastes so good! I could certainly attest to that. They are so accommodative whenever we come and always checking in with us. We are so greatful that we found this place and will certainly keep in coming back.

This place has no outlets, so if you're coming here to study then you're probably better off going to Starbucks. Each booth outlet is covered with a plain plate

I prefer this place more than any other coffee place I have tried. It's not only just the coffee but also the ambience that tied the whole experience for me.

You should try their "Monster Cheesecake", its nice and creamy. I am not a fan of cheesecake but this cake was gooood.

I would recommend this place for students. There are a lot of students studying there and it's not loud at all.

The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the food is always amazing. Love bringing my laptop here to work (it's much quieter than Starbucks' loud music and sitting in a booth is great).

Terrible service, waiting 20 mins for a house blend regular coffee. Staff isn't trained, lack of cleanliness. I asked for napkins they said they ran out. The display looked sad. Management needs to do a better job with the inventory and train there staff. I will not be returning to this location.

I love this cozy place, every Sunday I'm here with friends. We have good times together. The staff and owner are super friendly, feels like my second home.

Average quality coffee, high prices. Seating area is good, lacks wifi and other amenities. Staff are brisk and it is difficult communicate with them. They will literally walk away from you when you ask them questions.

My friend and I went to Coffee Culture today and ordered their NY cheesecake with strawberry sauce on top. There wasn’t really a bad taste to it, but it did taste old… An hour after we left, I got an extremely upset stomach and nausea and had to immediately rush to the bathroom. My friend also started feeling sick an hour after and had the same symptoms as me too…. We didn’t have anything to eat that day so we’re most likely sure it was the cheesecake we both shared. I usually love going to coffee culture, so I’m just thinking the staff didn’t check the temperature right when defrosting the cake? Or maybe somethings wrong with their fridge? Either way, we had a terrible experience today…: (

We went for breakfast recently and ordered a classic club and realized it was really dry and just didn’t taste as good as I remembered. They forgot the mayo and just didn’t taste fresh lol I was disappointed because I really liked this place and I found my service/food wasn’t worth it. I still gave 3 starts because it could have been an off day but don’t think I’ll be going back any time soon.

They totally forgot my order.
I ordered 2 drinks and a sandwich.the sandwich tasted really good.but they never made the drinks until we went and informed them.she made us reorder it as she didn't have a copy of my receipt.

We are a regular here. Love the ambiance and the comfort of the seating. Tried the food once and would rate it as ok. Enjoy the variety of hot and cold drinks. Service is also good. Outdoor seating is limited.

This place is amazing. I went to pass some time and spend time outside and the service is so so so friendly and fun to talk to. Their cookies are also the most delicious cookies I have ever tried. They make very good pastries. 100% recommend.:)

Owner is very rude. Wouldn't recommend coming here. They removed their wifi, and also blocked off the sockets. They also limit on how long you can stay even if you've purchased items. Owner does seem to care about customers, just your money.

Nice ambiance in the coffee shop. The prices were standard and the quality of my coffee and sandwich were good. Would have a 5-star if they had wifi and more outlets to charge computers.

I was just at the coffee culture on brittania and eglinton. I forgot the name of the girl that served me, but i must say, the best customer service experience! She really made my day

This location is always amazing. Call in ahead to reserve a "Carrot Caramel Cheesecake" and 9/10 times it's there. Staff are amazing especially the girl with the hat, she has the greatest customer service.

Such a cosy cafe with large windows to enjoy either the bright natural light during the day or to simply look out during the night. Pre covid it was always super busy so I would've advised to come before 7 to get a booth seat. However nowadays it's been pretty empty with the booth seats closed off. You can order coffee in a to-go cup or a regular ceramic mug if your staying (and it comes with a small scone). The baristas are also kind enough to serve it to you right at your table if they're free and similarly pick up your cup for you when youre done. If I ever want to study or work outside my home I love coming here!

Came here to have the celebration cake. The staff members saw us standing at the cash and nobody approached us. They continued cleaning and going to the back. Finally the guy decided to take our order, with attitude. Asked for milk in my coffee but, was not given any. The peice of cake that I got was disgusting and had a nasty stale flavor to it. The plates it came in had old coffee stains, we were given no utensils. Overall the the customer service here is absolutely terrible. Would NEVER recommend this location to anyone!

Wi-Fi was awful, don't expect to accomplish much work here. Some staff were incredibly kind and courteous, some were very rude.

Unfortuneatley i have to pick one star although it deserves 0. The service given by the indian guy working here clearly shows he doesnt like his job. I would rather have no service than service with an attitude. Customer service is clearly not for everyone.

Some of the best coffee in the city! Everything is fresh and delicious. I’m always willing to go out of my way to come to this place as opposed to any of the other coffee shops in the area. Anxiously waiting for the streetsville location to open, but it seems like it may never happen

Love the atmosphere and the menu here. It's a great place to meetup and hangout with friends. But you can also do what my friends and I did for our presentation. We had a nice corner and worked away on our presentation while enjoying drinks and food. I've had their soup here before and it was good. Had their scone as well and was impressed.

Good place. But one of the one on the cash she was kind of rude with her fake smile. The other one she prepared my food was nice.

Food here is good as I have been to other locations. But this location the staff just doesn’t seem trained. Not really pleased with the service here. The internet wasn’t working, so just asked the staff that the internet is very slow. And there response was “there is nothing we can do”. Was not the response I was hoping for. I feel that they could have at-least tired. Will not be coming back to this location for sure.

This is an addition to my note from yesterday. Someone did finally take the dishes from the table (pic in this post), but never wiped the table even though they had a cloth in their hand. I won't be going back. Gross!

Visit yesterday:
Well it's my first time at this location. From my first glance, they don't seem to clean off tables after customers leave a mess. There were at least half a dozen tables that were dirty and had dishes left behind. Once their cleanliness improves, I'll give a better rating.

Nice place and very good coffee. I wish it doesn’t get so crowded on the weekends, but thats a good problem to have for the owners! All in all, highly recommend

Decent place with decent food. Nice to come here for coffee meets with friends or family. I have used this once over a year ago as an alternative studying space - it was a bit too loud when I went (during the week, around 7ish). But if the noise doesn't bother you, then this place is a good study spot.

The coffee is a bit on the expensive side but you are paying for the ambience. Popular with millennials. It is always packed on Friday nights I have been here.

The staff is amazing and accommodating most of the times. The food is good and have some vegan options. The cappuccinos and other drinks can be made with non dairy.

The table wasn't clean at all. And I had to wait in front the counter for a bit till the guy showed up from the back. I liked this place in Hamilton but mississauga's is not at the same standards.

Great place to get work done. Very calm, and the drinks and food that they serve are fresh and tasty. Usually busy, and limited amount of seating, but in the summer it has a nice patio for extra space. The staff are nice and professional.

Decent little coffee spot. Better in the summer with the patio. I went in today and asked for a double espresso short. They didn't know what that was. Don't think this is an uncommon beverage. My friend had a coffee and he thought it was tasty. The atmosphere was nice. Music wasn't too loud so you didn't have to yell. Didn't try the food but it looked okay.

The service was horrible! Absolutely disgusting and am never going back there again. Most of all the outlets were blocked off and when I tried to use the one behind the booth and let my laptop charge on the booth they told me I couldn’t which I didn’t understand why. Then I put the laptop away to charge and a rude lady came and put my charger away. She didn’t even ask for permission to touch my laptop or charger or even ask for me to move it which I would’ve done happily. The worker there are rude and extremely unprofessional. Also the manager isn’t any better. Please fix wifi because it never connects and for the over priced food, there better damn be outlets and wifi. Please teach ur workers professionalism because even a 5 year old can give better service.

I was here this morning and I had the absolutely worst service possible. The two women serving were extremely impolite and cold. I had invited a client to meet me here and the service was dreadful. Some of your staff are better suited to work at cemeteries with their cold attitude. I've been coming here for years and will certainly think twice about visiting this location. One of your servers rolled her eyes at me when I asked her for a fork to eat my cheesecake with.

I will never visit this location again. My friend and I were bullied out of a table by a patron and a employee. They didn't care where we sat, just not at that table. The other patrons were just as shocked as we were. Some offered their table to us. Absolutely horrible customer service. They could of handled the situation in a more courteous and professional manner. Absolutely disgusted!
