Went on for a repair on my cable box. Switched it to epico, which is cool. However, it they were not upfront about the cost and told me my bill was going to remain the same. My bill went up by $150. Called cogeco and put on hold for 1.5 hrs. Cogeco forgot to add discounts, and they solved the problem. There is nowhere else to turn to as it is a monopoly. Not up-front about cost and not honest period.

First time I see a total disrespect to someone’s property. A neighbour invited cogeco guy and he didn’t ask me buy went to my front yard, open my box attached to my house (two cars parked on the driveway so someone is home) and I asked him about it - he was standing with all tools and just said - I am just checking if it’s possible to use your lane to connect to your neighbour…
I said NO but if your company going to send someone who is asking BEFORE go to my property I will let them do this without any problem
And no- I am not their customer and it’s not main box for everyone to connect from

The store was very helpful.
Waited for cogeco to come and setup cable and Wi-Fi.on a Friday between 5 and 8 pm.

No one knocked at the door, but the installer left a door knocker, which was BS I have a big Alaska Malamute and he would of barked if he had actually knocked.
I get it Friday afternoon, figured going for a beer was more important thank working at 5pm on a Friday.

Since we started which was 3 weeks ago, we have had nothing but trouble. The wifi for the past 3 weeks has not been connecting properly and it disconnets for 2-3 hours no matter what we do. I wish I could give this service 0 stars, I do not recommend it to anyone at all

I'm not sure why Cogeco has a 2.6 rating. The one thing I guess is when treated right, no one comments however when there is poor treatment everyone hits the keyboard. Cogeco has ALWAYS been exceptional with me and I am far from perfect. If you call them they are willing to work with you. Excellent service

I decided to change our TV provider & went to the Cogeco outlet at the PENN Centre to get all the info needed. Nathalie helped us with all the details needed. She was very patient with us answering all of our questions & explaining our new pkg with Cogeco. She made sure we were satisfied with the cost of the pkg we selected & that we received all the discounts that were available to us. After installation I emailed Nathalie with other questions about our pkg & was answered immediately. The service I have received has been excellent & I am very satisfied with my new provider…. Cogeco.

Cogeco has been supplier for a decade. Excellent product, but wanna touch on the customer service quick
Won’t mention name but, 19, student, Pakistani, beautiful eyes, dad is older than me, lol. I think you’ve figured it out. The hour she gave me I will remember for long time. Her knowledge and customer service was great. She even picked half my channels, just a little game we played to kill some time. She thanked me for making her day just a tad more surreal lol. She even offered up a chair to grab a quick snooze.
So I think her efforts should be rewarded in some way obviously. I’ll leave those details up to her manager though. Cause that’s what effective leaders do. Looking forward to 10x internet downloads for sure.
I’ll know if you’ve accomplished simple task online, the positive impact of socials is very real btw.

I went into the Cogeco Pen Center store in to exchange two cable boxes that were not working. The Customer Service Representative was very knowledgeable and provided me with two replacement boxes.answered my questions regarding channel availability updated my service.quickly and with a smile. Great job.

Very helpful with exchange are Tvio cable box, was just installed 3days prior from a technician that just swapped box's.
So we contacted Cogeco support and they told us that they do have a new box in stock in St. Catheines.
So i pack up the box with 3 flashing lights "green, yellow, red" this will tell you that your
ARRIS CABLE BOX IS DEFECTIVE
Swapped box at mall.no problem. Hooked up box and call Technical support for assistance with hooking up main box and we also fixed 3 other Television box's.
Thanks again for the help in are mater Cogeco.

Natalie was fantastic at the cogeco store at the Pen Centre! Patient, informative and helped with every question and got me set up quickly and efficiently. Worst company customer service. Get transferred everywhere, automated system recognizes phone number and account but then agents can't find anything. Get different answers everytime you call.

Worst experience ever. I showed up about 3 years ago and was rudely told to go back to the front of the store (there was NO LINES-just people milling about in their department as though they were "browsing"), I walked away feeling humiliated after being treated like I jumped the "line" (ya, like there was ever a f*ckn line).

Cancelled my hook up appointment on me 3 times. Receiving a $0.00 dollar bill every month, I understand that they generated an account but I never received any services from Cogeco called to get them to stop sending the bill, still receiving them
Disappointed, discouraged I went with Bell.

All about their money, could care less if your equipment works, service is on, or if your customer service agent even understands what a router is. Problem with this company is its service is the best when its up and running, as our options are limited. Don't owe them money they'll want it yesterday along with your first born son.

This has nothing to do with the store but the company and services itself.

The worst possible internet provider, just Horrible can't be any worst. Their service stinks, well offer price, make sure you watch your billing statement, we were over charged three months in a road, one payment was $100 more what we usely pay. Thay try blame on us for using more Data, which is bunch of B. S. Take my advice and stay away from these thieves. Im switching to another provider in a hurry.

I wouldn't even give them 1 star but there is nothing lower to choose. Their service is absolutely horrible and when you call to complain it's even worse. It has taken a month to get service moved from one place to my new place and when the so called service technician came he didn't know what he was doing and didn't do it right and left before confirming everything was working. Which it wasn't and now I have to wait another week to get someone else to hopefully show up and do the work the last guy was supposed have done.

Terrible company. Minus 99 stars. I'd paid my bill on time for years in fact often overpaid to make next bill lower. That my style. In a few weeks marks one year I've not got a correct bill from cogeco. It's the principle of the matter and they don't care. Everyone's just a number to them. They don't care to have good customer service but rather fight to be right and cannot comprehend owning there errors. I lowered all my channels and took off all packages and internet to make the bill absolutely grade school level for them last April and here we are two weeks from a year later and last month they cut me off when they owed me money claiming I ordered to be turned off. Now that's absolutely impossible as I have cable with them two ways the first one is basic cable threw the condo that they like to double bill me for on my side account which I've balanced to zero since last April.one correct bill being received would at this point be almost a miracle How hard is zero doller hmmm. Anyways the part of cable I left on is included in a huge condo packaging meaning it's not even optional or I'd absolutely of disconnected these unintelligent horrible customer service twits. I'll update if I ever receive an accurate bill. It all started when they changed there billing system. Rediculous it's lasted a year and never got any better. Whoopie they credit me back money I don't owe thats just lo standards, it's like stealing and expecting the charges to be drop because you choose to finally with much effort on my part credit me back money every few months this year that you wrongly charged after blaming me for there errors every month for a year. Hularious they used to advertise themselves with the award winning customer service. Haha. Says a lot about a company that can see all these bad reviews but could care a less how there seen. If you can avoid this company you may want to!

Cogeco used to be awesome, we have been with them for over 15 years. Cancelling as soon as my contact ends. Loyalty program a joke now, they dont show up for tech appointments and when you have tech issues you get a tiny amount reimbursed. Terrible, if I could give negative stars I would! I am reviewing company not store.

6 months into my contract and not one bill has been correct. It took 3 hours on the phone again today. Every month I go through the same thing. Each person I speak to can't help and I get transferred back and forth. They don't even listen to what you say. Worst customer dies-service I've ever experienced.

TERRIBLE COMPANY! GO WITH BELL! They made a "mistake" and charged me $450 extra on a bill and then cancelled services the next day without calling or any mail. Spend over 30 minutes on the phone 2 days in a row with still no answer to what happened. WHAT A JOKE! To think they want $1500/year for basic services and then mess up the bill can't give you any answers. STÀY AWAY! The employees are usually nice and polite but "COGECOS" rules that they have to follow and the actions the company takes without notifying you are not acceptable! I would never EVER recommend them as a service provider after the 2 year nightmare they put me through!

They don't even deserve a 1 star rating. Should be negatives. Nothing but issues. They screwed up an installation date. Told me it was no charge then said it was $60. Then I was told that I didn't need cable run because all boxes are now wireless! The guy on the phone actually told me I made no sense and that my questions were stupid. I have been billed for services I don't have. Can't get the new cable box working. Problem after problem. I can't say enough bad things about this company. Never, ever again
