My Cogeco internet went down. I followed their troubleshooting steps, but to no avail. I then called customer support. While the CSR was polite and friendly, he came back to tell me that there is a known issue in my area and that it will take three business days to perhaps remedy my internet issues. How is this a reasonable service level? I work from home so I need a reliable ISP.

I then mentioned that there was a door to door salesman in my neighborhood today selling Cogeco’s services. $39.99 for 90 Mbps. I pay $102 per month for the same service! He then transferred me to Billing/Retention to which I received an automated message saying they don’t work on weekends! 0/2 today, Cogeco!

So I end up overpaying for internet service that I don’t even receive. Looking for an alternative ISP.

From our first dealing with sales associate who offered the service to us, to the service technician who installed our services, it has been exemplary. Cogeco provides great value for money and a customer service experience that can’t be beat. I am very happy we switched our services to them.

The service I received during my recent visit by a Cogeco was outstanding. He made an extra effort to make sure I had a box with a hard drive even though I had a small problem with the main office.

Great service amazing speeds only issue is I wish the 1gb fibe internet plan was a bit cheaper so its easier to afford but other than that I wouldn't choose any were else for fast easy internet service

I just had Cogeco’s fiber optic services installed for both internet and tv. The Technician that installed the services was extremely helpful, respectful and patient with all my questions. He also had a lot of respect for his Employer, Cogeco, which makes me feel more comfortable with my choice of Cogeco.

I am so appreciative of the speedy service from Cogeco techs and the customer service reps. It is nice not to spend a long time waiting to speak to a human who fixes my problems efficiently and with courtesy.

We had unexpected financial problems and our account was past due. The collection agent was extremely courteous and helpful. Then I spoke with another agent because I was going to cancel our services. That agent was also extremely courteous and helpful. He reduced the price to something affordable while keeping all of the services we had. The regular Cogeco prices are too high, but most of the other providers charge too much. Cogeco agents have always been polite and helpful whenever we called them. Infrequently, a glitch cuts off services, but it gets repaired quickly. Again, every provider has the same problem at some time. Other than the regular high prices, we’ve always been happy with Cogeco. I recommend Cogeco as long as they offer you a reasonable price

We had a internet connect today by Cogeco. Very please so far, it was done very well. No issues, we are connected and it works very well. But the next day it broke down, I try to call, I findly got a hold of them, they send a technician the next day, and after many difficulties, this technician got it fix, and it is working find, very good service, happy that it is working,

Not only did we experience a fast and seamless installation, we now enjoy more channels (all sports channels), recording capabilities, rapid download speed, quicker unlimited internet and we're saving considerably on our monthly budget. Thank you Cogeco!

I have been with Cogeco for two years now, whenever I had problem or issue Cogeco staff always fix it for me. Cogeco staff are professional, friendly and kind. I want to give a big thanks for all Cogeco staff and especially for Katharine from Loyalty department and Trevor from disconnect department.they were very professional and kind. I arranged a telephone and cable service for my father who is living in a long term care home with dementia. Every Cogeco employee that I spoke to was made aware of this. Not once was it explained that there is no lock or parental control on the pay per view channels. They were made aware that a vulnerable person was using the cable tv. Over $300 have been racked up on my account because of this and now I am on the hook for it. The best part is that Cogeco cannot lock the parental controls from their offices and if it happens again I have to pay for it. A warning to parents with young kids: Cogeco doesn’t automatically add parental controls like the other companies. No code to get into pay per view. This included xxx rated movies, which means any kid can have access to and view.

Do NOT rely on Cogeco internet service if you work from home. They could care less if you’re without service and unable to work for 2-3 days at a time. The service is sketchy on a daily basis even without a complete interruption of service. To top it off, the Technical Support Supervisor I escalated my call to was offensive, ignorant, arrogant and unhelpful and not equipped to resolve concerns.

I signed up for Cogeco internet about a month ago and so far I am loving my service. Customer service was friendly and knowledgeable and they were able to answer all my questions before beginning my service. I was happy I was able to opt in for the self install, which saved me from having to take time off work to let a technician in. The service itself is perfect. I've had no connection or latency issues even while having multiple gaming devices are in use at the same time.

Whenever we have contacted with a problem we have received excellent service. There was only one situation that was not able to fix our problem. They couldn't hook us to their fire door protection.

Cogeco services and prices and amount of services that you get is very affordable and competitive and the customer service is responsive and technicians are efficient and the representatives over the phone are very helpful I highly recommend Cogeco over its competitors. It is definitely made for people who need Internet telephone phone fast efficient and a great overall experience at an affordable price and especially how long of the initial incentive prices and still when done your price is monthly are very manageable and highly affordable for the services that you receive and they make it easy to change as you need so it’s very customer friendly and user-friendly based on what your needs are so I highly recommend Cogeco

I needed to call Cogeco for tech support. Spoke to Steven who was outstanding. He was polite, friendly and most important he was excellent at tech knowledge. But he kept everything simple to understand and explain. At one point I in error disconnected the call. I expected to have to call back and start all over with the issue. But within seconds I got a return call from Steven. Who I found out later was finished his shift but wanted to get my issue resolved and not have me have to call back so he stayed later.
Great work, excellent customer support! !

Prices need to be reduced. 90 Mbps for $65 is a good value per Mbps but there should be a cheaper base package as 90 Mbps isn't needed by most people - 40 Mbps would be fine. However, their customer support is great. I called in the evening on a Tuesday night and got through right away.

Although they face all the same issues at times as 'the other' telcom providers in Canada, the service in all areas: customer care, credit and technical, is heads above the competition. At Cogeco you consistently get a thoughtful, friendly and 'interested to help' voice on the other end of the connection. The continuity of pleasant service across all departments is a Cogeco differentiator in my opinion. Having been a client with all of 'the others', service is the reason I stick with Cogeco. Even where/when service packages are slightly more expensive I choose Cogeco!

I've only had Cogeco service and I must say I do not have the complaints my friends have about other internet, land line and tv companies. If ever i have glitch I call customer service and its resolved and when I feel like an agent has not satisfied my request the supervisors are ALWAYS prepared to assist. I'd definitely recommend Cogeco.

Cogeco has terrible services. I am stuck with them because they are the only company that provides services in my area. I am basically stuck in an abusive relationship with them. They overcharge for unreliable services. Don't use them if you live just outside of the city-you will regret it. O yah, most people reviewing here are because the CSAT survey directs you here. So the reviews here are bias, as the customer support staff picks good experiences to send here.

Great customer service. It has been that way going back 30 years for me. As for a deal I got I got more than a fair deal. Now are there things they could improve? Well I think upload speeds for internet packages should be better and maybe even on par with bell but still I wanted longer term for a reason and even got more than I expected today. Honestly before going elsewhere give Cogeco a look.

Never had any bad experience, I am very satisfied with my Internet and Cable services, sure there has been times where the internet will get interrupted which can happen anywhere! But every time I called customer service or Technical support they will fix the issue right away!

Don’t deliver as agreed and don’t take the responsibility from customer impact.

I have requested a new internet service with start date for 8/25/21. I did not receive the modem in my address (have to pickup at a store) and my service was not activated yet.

I was told that I still need to wait 24h for the signal to my modem to be activated (Remedy ticket# 1590827).

I work remotely and have been heavily impacted by this issue.

Cogeco will do its best to please its customers. They have good internet packages on paper. However, in practice, it is a different story. I don't get 50% of what I signed up for despite working next to my modem. Also, one day I found a wire extending from the side of my house, running all the way across my yard and into the side of my neighbor's house. I called Cogeco about it and they said it was a temporary workaround for my neighbor's internet connection. Fast forward three years, and it's still there. What's more damning is that they did all that on my property without my permission.

It was already clear to me that I had a defective device (IPTV box) Final resolution once the technician agreed, was to ship a replacement box. Until that box arrives, I can't comment more.

Had a great experience with a Cogeco Help Desk professional - he was patient, didn't rush me and explained things in a way that I could understand. He waited for me and didn't pass off to wait in a que. It isn't ever I post on FB how great a service was - but this guy knocked it out of the ballpark for me. I was slightly agitated when I called in as I had no idea what I was doing and the technician was polite and got me reassured right away that the issue could be solved and he helped out calmly and professionally. More like this guy!

Cogeco is offering the worse internet service for last 4 to 5 months. I tried to contact them several times but whenever I tried dial there number they put me on different lines where I got stranded and disconnected out of frustration. I called them last week to disconnect my internet service. The lady at the service was very polite and she assured me that if I am not satisfied with the existing speed. She can upgrade my service with 1000mbps with a nominal extra charge. I want to support local businesses so agreed to upgrade. I got the service but I didn't see any improvement in the service. So, my honest feedback is, Cogeco Connexion is the worst company with the best employees. I do not recommend Cogeco Connexion company for internet services to anybody as a consumer.
