Rawan Hussein with Cohen Highley is an incredible lawyer who is always going to be an asset to your business team. As a small business owner, we generally assume that we have to do it all. But one area we should not do it ourselves is the legal side of our business because the ramifications can be ginormous. My father in law was sick earlier this year and my husband reached out to have his will signed. He received a call back over a week later, the day his father passed away, and my husband informed them that it was now too late. A few days later he reached back out to the lawyer to get a letter of authorization as we cannot access his benefits, etc.without an executed will. He has reached out by phone and email many times and has not heard back to this day. This has been over 3 months now. We reached out to another lawyer that got back to us right away and is working on this for us. The courts are behind so we have to wait several months. We would be much higher on the list had Cohen Highley responded when we reached out to begin with. Very disappointed in this and we will not be using them again in the future. I would love to hear why we are not getting a response, but I guess that would involve them responding so I won't hold my breath.

Let me tell you about the time when Rawan from Cohen Highley saved my life (and that's only a slight exaggeration). As a small business owner, it's easy to get yourself trapped into sticky situations regarding contracts. I found out the hard way that I was duped into a service agreement that I didn't want or need, AND that I was a victim of some pretty predatory business practices. Just when I thought all hope was lost, I had Rawan look at the agreement, and that's when rawan gave me a professional yet resounding OH HECK NO this is NOT ok. Thanks to Rawan, I am on track to get myself out of this incredibly tough and stressful scenario. My gratitude for her help is endless, and I cannot recommend her and Cohen Highley enough, especially for new/small business owners.
