Went into the store earlier this week to start my Christmas shopping, and overheard two grown women talking really poorly about another employee.on the floor, and within ear shot of other customers. Although my management experience is in the corporate world, I don't imagine it should be any different in the retail world. Gossiping like a couple of 13 year olds while on the floor, isn't professional, and irked me so much, I turned around and walked out of the store. If either of these women were the store manager, Coles head office should be sending her for sensitivity training.

Amanda, for being the general manager, you have TERRIBLE customer service. I preordered the Britney Spears book with pickup at the store and the book was released today, but on my email it said Oct 26 for pickup. I called indigo and was told that I could just go to the store because they had the book in stock and they would give me a copy from the shelf and replace that copy when mine came in. I called and was told by Amanda that I in fact could not do that bc apparently the policy had changed in the 2 minutes that I got off the phone with Indigo and that I could either wait until the 26th or come in and purchase the book (even though I’ve already paid for it) and they will refund when my book comes in. I even told her this was for a birthday gift for someone and she was in no way making any exceptions for me. I called Indigo back again and the rep who was AMAZING told me that my book was actually there and had been received and scanned in by Amanda! Called the store and spoke to Lynn who was lovely, confirmed my book was there (although they claimed it was not received and she just opened the box now while on the phone). But if you knew you were getting shipment, Amanda, don’t you think you would advise your customer of that and tell them you will check to see if their book is there and call them back. I will never ever spend my money purchasing a single item from Indigo again solely bc of you.

Absolutely love the indigo chain of bookstores.so happy with the books we bought there yest.we went back today for more!

Smaller store but plenty of variety. I was pleasantly surprised today with a table of classic novels priced 3 for $10. Friendly staff.

It is a small book store but well organized. The staff are also really nice and helpful. They know their stuff:)

Never has stock of what I'm looking for, and the website stock counter doesn't always reflect in store. I know I shouldn't expect perfect stock counts online, but this happens a lot more than I would assume is normal.

While the location is quite small, you'd expect a bit more inventory, not just the skeleton selection they currently have. Maybe if this book store wasn't 2/3rd toys, crafts, puzzles, and stationery they could fit a bigger selection.

Didn't have too much of what I was looking for, but I went shortly after new years. The space was very clean and the staff was very kind.
