Came here to sign some books and the staff was super helpful when I came in. They definitely have a great selection of books to choose from even if it’s a smaller location.

Prices are decent and place is pretty organized:)

It has friendly staff and the selection of rare finds, two books out of three ain't bad.

The Store billing person of Coles had absolutely no manners how to speak to customers.
How can a Coles staff ask customers if the customers have any idea how much does the book, they have chosen, costs?
We are serious shoppers & book lovers!
It was like the staff was questioning
our buying capacity!

Coles staff is quite rude & unprofessional in handling customers.
To start with, they should learn how to talk!

Poor online order/in store pick up experience.

First, the item was delayed past the expected pick up date.

When I did pick it up and returned home, I realized I was missing an item (neither myself or the clerk double checked my order).

No one at the store ever picked up the phone (I tried various times on various days) so I could verify if the item was there.

I ended up calling customer service who sent a replacement. But it’s been over a week and it still hasn’t shipped to the store.

16 days later and I still haven’t received my full order.

Nice book store. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection and variety of books. They have great deals and discounts.

I usually don’t write bad reviews but this lady at the cashier counter with brown hair, kinda tall, on the bigger side, was very rude. I asked for help to find a book I wanted. I was expecting to be guided there because that’s usually what happens when I visit a Coles, Indigo or Chapters, but she told me to go to Fiction and to the K section (for the last name). It’s just the way she was speaking to me was extremely unprofessional. Avoid her

It's a small but cozy.and you will find what you are looking for. The staff is always ready to help and don't shy out from explaining what you can do.

I've never had a return of anything go so smoothly. Returned a book that was bought a month ago as a present. Great staff.

Wonderful classic store. Most of my shopping there I received very good customer service. Only once staff on a particular day were not interested in providing service to customers. We have found something to buy, either planned on finding or a nice surprise item, on every visit. Thank you Coles.

They only had one staff on a Saturday afternoon and the store was busy. I walked out of the store and did not buy a book.

A decent place to get the newest release of books, comic and manga (yes the do see Mangas). As well selling housewares goods.

Not the biggest store, but most Coles locations aren't that big anymore. Good for dropping by for a book or greeting card if you're in the mall. It is, however, upstairs where there isn't a ton of mall traffic.
We generally stop by to browse the books with the kids if we're shopping at the mall.

My kid was reading to pick a book, but a middle-aged female clerk kicked us out and said, "Don't read the whole book. If you want to read, go to a nearby library. " It's bad experience ever. I've never got this before in a bookstore.

That's really a good and organized book store in Fairview Mall with a great selection of books, some toys, stationaries and actually good place to buy special gifts for special ones. I always take my kids there as they enjoy walking around, looking at the books, and finding the book they like. Although all the staff are very knowledgeable about where to find books in the store, some of them look somehow serious. We need more smiles, please ;)

I was there on Jan 4 Wed just begot 7pm. The Store is nice and organized but employee at cashier was rude and completely failed on provide decent customer service. He wouldn't even make eye contact nor responding to my question. It was just a yes/no question.

Two Karen’s ganged up on me. … male and older female associate were rude. Followed me around the store making sarcastic comments to me as I looked at products. Talked down to me when I didn’t even ask them any questions. Felt like racism as they didn’t do this to any one else in the store.

What used to be a bookstore has turned into a modern day Spencer's Gifts.

It's a gift store now and I get the realities of books these days so it feels inevitable.

Yeah they still have a bunch of books, but instead of a curated store of great books for all readers it's the books that partner with Chapters that get shelf space. So enjoy the 15 new celebrity autobiographies and tv book club books. Plus cookbooks from social media.

It's cut into the fiction and literature sections. Coles as a brand feels dead. No modern version or iteration of Coles notes and no bookstore feeling. But still a useful store in the mall.

Love line at cash. Only one staff at checkout. Other staff rearranging store displays. Otherwise good discounts on seasonal stock.

I love bringing my grandsons here and shopping for extra xmas gifts. I go in for one thing and always end up leaving with more. The prices are great!
