Coles

My wife bought me a book in August but I'd already read the book. I was not aware that Coles had a 30-day return policy and when I took the book back for an exchange 45 days after the purchase, the store refused to grant me an exchange or refund and were unwilling to be flexible with regard to this policy.
The store did not verbally point out this policy when my wife bought the book and expected us to review the fine print at the back of the receipt.
Very poor customer service - without any word of apology. We won't be shopping at Coles again.

Staff is very friendly and helpful especially with my kids.

There is a specific child section despite its size.

Prices are reasonable, again, considering the location.

Love this shop. Great service. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Welcomed the pooch with a treat. Well stocked. Had copy of hard to find new release.

Great little book store - all family selection with good children's section. A lovely addition to the Beaches Village area!

Six people max in the store. Very low key, chill and helpful. I asked for the book l I was looking for and they knew right away. I was pretty much in and out.

I visited the store by the end of the day today with my one year old daughter and my husband. We took her to the kids area and she dropped a plastic LOL box on floor. Immediately one of the staff came to us and said we should be a little bit more careful. Please understand: if you offer a kids area, with low chairs and table, and you put toys on a reachable shelf for the little ones, you should expect things eventually falling down. It was so unpleasant that we left without buying anything. Not coming back.

Miserable people working here, dont waste your time, there are plenty of independent bookstores in the area where the people working are much more informed and willing to help.
Walked in asking about an author and book series and the guy working just pointed and said search the computer.which if you have ever used their search functionality you know how antiquated and brutal it is to use. Rude, uninformed staff, will never spend money here again.

I could spend all day in here flipping through books and magazines. Great store, such a relaxing space.

It's a nice location, but due to its size they have obviously a limited selection of books on specific topics. For example, just before Easter and Passover we went looking for children's books on those topics. There was only 1 Passover book to select from and about 6 Easter books. I know Passover may not be as widely celebrated but having an option of at least 2 books to choose from would have been nice. The staff were friendly.

Love this wonderful book store in my neighbourhood. It's charming, full of a variety of books and the customer service has always been spot on.

Had trouble finding the book I was looking for but one of the employees helped me find it really quickly!

The place is small, so the choice is limited to the bestsellers, which makes it a place to avoid. In addition some of the workers, while could be competent, are not providing a good service or are not so kind. It’s a pity, because the Beaches deserves much higher culture level.

Disgusted. Looked online for a book I have been searching for and omlinenit said the store had 1 in stock. I called the store to confirm. Online the price was $28. When I arrived at the store they had the price marked up to $41! That is pure highway robbery and disgusting practice. I will not only never shop at this particular store again but Indigo/Coles as a whole. Save your money and shop Amazon.

I love this place! Most of the books that I was looking for I found, and prices are really affordable. Would recommend!

Adorable little Coles, very good for a quick stop-in before you head to the parks or beach nearby.
