Didn't know there was a collective arts in Toronto before accidentally stumbling upon this one on New year's Eve. And we're so glad that we did. The staff is fantastic. Atmosphere is chill. Beer flights are excellent. Really really liked their Origin of Darkness Maple Vanilla stout. Definately will be coming back.
Fun place for basic paint supplies. I would be weary of quality control. Was just in and they have a whole case of cans that are leaking a brown residue. Refuse to entertain the idea of any discount or throw in a cap for the troubles. Short hairless cashier seems like a b professionally which is sad considering it's all for the art.
Owell good thing these things can be ordered online and purchased elsewhere.
Popped in Saturday afternoon, after walking around all morning. Decided to try a couple of beer flights. Had to have a few staples but also a bunch of new limited editions that are always on rotation. A taste for everyone to enjoy. We didn't end up having anything to eat, but they do have a small selection of edibles available that looked good. They also have takeout beer and merch in the front, so you can take some home with you! When we were there, even though it wasn't advertised anywhere they mentioned they were putting on a show downstairs later that night. Went back and caught a couple of great local bands and enjoyed the cherry whiskey sour at the downstairs bar. Underrated cool little spot hopefully they put on more shows and promote so a few more people will come by.
Brunch here on the weekend is fantastic. The room and the patio have good vibes. Patio is dog friendly. Room and patio are kid friendly. The food and beverage choices are really superb. High quality ingredients in both. The price is very fair for the quality.
The waffles and chicken are among the best in the city. The service is super friendly.
Come running before the whole city figures out how good this food is. It's Heartbreak Chef food. And it's FABULOUS.
Colorful, creative space with great beer and gin! Great art for sale on the walls. The pretzel we had was so good! The outside texture was perfect and had delicious flavor while the inside was soft and fluffy. Honestly, one of the best pretzels we’ve ever had.
Just a fantastic brewery. Very balanced beers among all the styles. My favorite was the nitro Resignation Letter British bitter. Great place - highly recommend!
Want a good micro beer? Go to Bellwoods brewery, at least you won’t be scammed there.
1- It’s Wednesday after 4pm, only cans available. I guess the Monday-Thursday Happy Hours actually doesn’t work on Wednesdays as no draft is available, neither service - you get your cans at the bar, more than 2x the take out price + tips even if you receive no service. But it’s ok, it’s warm outside, 1st patio of the season, no big deal. 2-The beers ARE good, so we take a bunch of them to go, including the Origin of Darkness ones, $5.95 each & $38.98 for 8, pretty good deal - in appearance - so we take 8 of them. There are 8 variations of this beer, the description only says 8 for $38.98 not 1 of each for that price, the cashier says nothing either. We pay, then realize the discount is not applied, go back and surprise, surprise this new rule appears like magic. The promo is only valid if you take one of each…
Super disappointed knowing we were regular consumers of their products.
For anyone reading this, they offer the most incredible IPA and products you'll find in the GTA or across the Province. Priced well with super fast shipping.
We've been treated like royalty and family and their team are just wonderful people and extraordinary talented. Thanks as always and keep up the incredible work!
I always loved Collective Arts beers and the location didn't disappoint. You have a great collection of their well known beers and also a lot of additional options on tap. There's a good variety of Gin and cocktails as well. Food was also really good and the patio has a nice vibe. Highly recommend.
Tried two 4-beer flights, and every beer was fantastic. Also tried the chips and salsa, which were very tasty and complimented the beer nicely. They offered flights of their different gins, too, but I haven't tried those. I've had the blackthorn one before, though, which was wonderful.
Very nice atmosphere and interior aesthetic. They have $14 flights and the sour I got came out to $8.50. Unfortunately the only other sour they had on the menu was sold out the night before so I got the Pina colada one (not bad if you don't mind coconut)
My partner and I visited here for the first time and we both loved it! Such a welcoming and comfortable space. It was a lovely weekend day and the service was great! We had a few beers and the delicious pretzels! I highly recommend trying a few different beers to see what you like but be adventurous and try something new. The servers were very helpful while choosing our drinks as well. We will definitely be back here soon. Thank you!
I went in to look around with my cousin. A man walked in before us, he was acknowledged and greeted, and then the person manning the shop went back behind the counter and seemed to be on her phone and uninterested in assisting us. At one point she did walk towards us but only to excuse me out of her way so she could get to the man who was still in the shop to make conversation. No hello, no actual customer service. Makes me think this place isn’t POC friendly. Will have to find somewhere else to find crafty drinks instead.
Just love the good vibe and ambiance of this location, great service with exceptional food (oh those tacos) and the great beer selection…always something new to try. Will definitely visit again!
Great beers, friendly staff. Last time I was there, I sat down at 5: 45, hoping to get a happy hour round. Drink order wasn't taken until 6: 00, and I was told happy hour just ended. Not a big deal, but this is the thing I will remember about my experience.
