Never come here there garbage hospital they turned away my dieing dog and now she has passed never bring your pet here

Recently brought in my boxer to have her sore paws checked out. Dr Cohen determined the problem, prescribed medicine and treatment, and in one day she was already much better. Dr Cohen really cares about dogs.

I’ve been bringing my beloved dog to College Street for the past three years, and I couldn't be happier with the care they provide. The team here is not only highly skilled, but also incredibly kind, compassionate, and honest about options for care. We’ve had the pleasure to see Drs Cohen, Snow and Norwich, and would highly recommend them all to other pet owners.

Came here for them to see the issue with my dog as she was not looking to well, to come into their office as I had my partner wait with our SICK dog in the car and for them to say they COULD’NT HELP her because NOT enough staff? Are you kidding me? I Have spoken to them about the concerns we’ve had and they couldn’t even step out to see her condition. Referred us to the emergency and they denied us as well, we could’ve register her as she COULD'VE been seen by one of them but clearly not. I felt devastated as NO ONE at all helped. And to have our dog passed in our car as we have tried everything and called the VEC but they didn’t even help the situation at all! Not even worth the 1 star to be speaking about this again as it hurts us to know our dog was not seen by anyone!

My cat Freyja absolutely loves everyone here, I even got my dad to bring his dog and cat here and we’ve only had really good experiences. Thank you!

I couldn't be more impressed with the care my dog Dizzy gets at College Street Animal Hospital. And, each time we go, the vets give me a detailed description of the state of his health and answer any questions I have. And Dizzy gets treats!

I have been to multiple vets for my dog (we had moved/travelled so it was necessary over the years) and by far this is the best vet care she has received and this has also been the most positive experience for me as a pet owner!

Each visit, every single staff member takes so much care and time to reassure me and care for my dog. Even through initial phone calls, I never feel rushed and they are always so kind and genuinely try to find a solution to help me or work really hard to get my dog in last minute (which is so above and beyond). The vet techs are always happy to see my dog, are pleasant and helpful. The vets themselves, during COVID restrictions when I wasn’t allowed in the clinic, took SO much time to talk on the phone with me to update me on my dog and her situation. In person, they do the same. I never feel like I am being upcharged for services or tests, instead they seem to really have my dogs best interests in mind. They will even email the next day to ask how she is doing which is just above and beyond what I have experienced anywhere else.

This clinic really take care to make each vet visit a positive experience for both myself and especially my dog. I am so incredibly fortunate they were taking on patients when I needed and even if I moved out of the area I would still keep them as my vet.

Brought my dog here for a toe injury. The staff was very helpful and was able to book an appointment the next day even though we were a new client from out of town.
I was worried my dogs toe may be broken but Dr. Norwich and Monica provided me reassurance, a helpful explanation and rational treatment approach that avoided X-rays (which also save me some $). I felt the care was thorough and prices fair. Would highly recommend.

My dog has been their patient for slightly more than a year now. Over several months, he had to be treated for heartworm, which can be extremely challenging and painful. This team went above and beyond, reserving the exact # of doses needed from an excess order for another patient to help lower treatment costs, explaining and re-explaining the steps of the process to me, making sure he was well-cared for, always returning my calls or getting back to questions as promptly as possible, booking time ASAP in case he needed any emergency checkups, and even giving him a free nail trim during one of his appointments. The protocol that was recommended appears to have worked as he's recently tested heartworm negative. Based on my experience dealing with this vet so far, I would definitely recommend.

Every time my dog walks by he wants to stop in and say HI. This is testament to the love and care he gets there.

I LOVE College Street Animal Hospital. The staff are all extremely friendly and deal with my antics without complaint. I always feel that my cat is looked after, they don't rush me during appointments and they let me ask all of my questions.

Additionally, they always follow up after vaccines/appointments to check-in. I can't say enough about how pleased I am that I found them!

We switched to College Street Animal Hospital upon recommendation from a friend and have had nothing but great experiences since. They were great with our dog, super clear and communicative about her care and any recommendations, and have followed up regularly on her condition after the appointment. Dr. Saram has taken such good care of my cat, and helped her to lose weight too. Hes so knowledgable. The front staff are also so lovely and kind and go out of their way to help you. Highly recommend!

I asked them if my kittens can be fixed at an early age, that said ok and wanted to see the kittens and do the blood work. When I took the kittens they said surgery should be done when they are 6 months old. I waited two hour outside to hear that. Everyone said I did not said that. At least they did not charge me for that, but they attempted to. They lost a very good customer.

Such friendly people who really love animals, and take great care of them. They always make me feel like my cat is special.:)

While individually, every person working in the clinic is very nice, as a team, the clinic lacks in organization and quality. We were concerned with some minor issues (e.g, we came with our male and female kittens for the spay/neuter surgery for scheduled time to find the doors of the clinic locked and no one to open them; the Dr did not collect urine sample as he promised, even though we paid for it). The main concern is that our female cat, spayed by Dr, has ovarian remnant syndrome because her ovarian tissue wasn't properly removed. Now she is in heat.
We are with a new clinic, it is less expensive and with much higher level of responsibility of the staff and the Dr.

This was my first experience going to a vet for my cat. Dr. Saram and his team were very accommodating and informative.
Pretty Girl was diagnosed with a thyroid tumour after I found a lump on her neck. The tumour had spread quite fast and was intertwined around her jugular. Dr. Saram and his team explained to me how intricate and tedious her surgery was. They kept me updated throughout the entire process. Once they got inside they had also found another tumour around her vocal cords. After the surgery they showed me the tumours they removed and gave me all the details. I’m so happy I trusted my baby with Dr. Saram and his staff. They all provided her with the care that they would have if she was their own baby. She’s now in perfect health and back to her usual self. Actually she’s more playful than she was before her surgery. I am beyond appreciative of everything you’ve all done for me and Pretty Girl. You’ve given her a second chance at life and I will forever be grateful for this.

I am very impressed with the way my dog Cappuccino is taken care of at the College St. Animal Hospital ever since he was 4 months old. He is now 6. Dr. Saram is kind, funny and gives great advice and care. I was also very pleased to meet his new staff assistant who was patient, understanding and wonderful. Thank you so much for all you do and for the confidence you instill in us for Cappy's care.

I've been to this clinic 4 times now. Each time I feel more disappointed as it's clear they don't have organized notes. I was going to write an email to them but I cannot find an address on their website so I'll write this review. I took my puppy in for a check up because she was scratching her ear. I asked and included all the information and they stated was $60 over the phone. When I picked her the bill was over $200. I just got back and looked at my detailed bill to see why it was $200 but they sold us a medication that we already had from them a few weeks ago, a simple anti fungal medication that i now have almost 2 full bottles of now at $50 each. The business model of not paying attention to detail is really apparent. I have told them repeatedly not to book the services they keep trying to sell me and in fact booked an appointment for a vaccination I didn't agree to and had previously stated we didn't want (Lepto). Anyway, I've given them multiple chances but I'll be going to Bickford Park Vet from now on.

Dr. Saram and the team are swift, gentle professional and most of all fair. No bs and straight to the point but treated with heart and haste. They helped my pup many times over the years with a number issues and procedures and he loves coming back every time. Dr. Saram was very kind professional and helpful. Will definitely keep coming here!

Took my cat to the clinic lately. They charged me over 50 bucks (before tax) for a small bottle of Otizole for skin issues. Lol

I am very disappointed with the work Dr. Saram had done on extracting my dog's baby teeth in 2018. He had broken a tooth and left a part of it still inside her gum. This year the remaining part of one of the teeth protruded and looked like a mass. Dr Bernhard was unable to diagnose what the mass was and put my dog on 2 rounds of antibiotics. I had to take her to the VEC and have them charge me $3600 for the diagnosis and removal of the mass. This caused unnecessary pain and trauma for my dog. Additionally, Dr. Saram is very rude and condescending, always rushing you. Dr Bernhard is sweet, but was not able to diagnose it.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I am now a regular client (one cat and a dog). My cat had a neurological problem. She was not able to walk anymore, had difficulties swallowing. Dr Saram treated her so well. He is not overcharging you with a lot of exams (that cost a lot, as an MRI, Scan test), he found what the problem was, he was very confident about how to treat the problem (he has very good knowledges and a lot of experience) and gave her medication. The day after she was walking! What a relief, she is fine now.
Call them if you need an emergency appointment, they have always availabilities, my dog was eating everything in the park when she was a puppy. I have aways find someone to help me at the clinic. It is something I am looking for when I have to choose a vet, reliable doctors, that's the place, theirs prices are fair! I have tried over vets when I moved in Toronto, they are only available for the annual check up. So I am not wasting my money in these kind of places anymore. College Street Animal Hospital is my place to go!

They’re very thorough, gentle, affordable and help provide detailed explanations. I’ve heard horror stories with other animal hospitals but I feel really comfortable and safe bringing my dog here.
