Collins Brewhouse

We've been coming here for years. Food was delicious, as usual. Service has been lacking, consistently as of late. Something has definitely changed in the Matrix.

I took mom to Dundas to visit my son, and it was his recommendation to have dinner at Collins. Great menu selectio, good prices, and portion sizes.
We will definitely return there when we are back from time to time.

A great place to eat and catch up with old friends. Pub food, fish and chips, They have started adding some middle eastern dishes and wraps. The patio is great in summer and lots of parking in the back, or municipal parking if their lot is full.

Had an awesome post-ride meal with excellent service out on the patio (bike friendly!) A great spot, especially when the sun's out - plenty of patio seating.

Took my granddaughter for lunch today. Was going to go someplace else but a neighbour suggested The Collins. The service was good, the kids meal good, my fish and chips weren’t. Soggy and greasy fish, , tasteless batter. Bland tasting coleslaw. I’m sure you can do better.

Google said they were open at 11, but they actually opened up at 11: 30 so it kind of sucked showing up at 11 and having to wait. And they didn't have a whole lot on the menu at that time, not sure if the entire menu changed or if it was a lunch menu. The collins definitely isn't what it used to be

We went for a wedding rehersal dinner, a group of 12. We were a bit late and they were still very accommodating and saved our table. The staff was very friendly and their service was excellent! I liked the atmosphere as well.

We got nachoes for an app and it was very good. Loaded with meat and the toppings were very fresh. It's definitely worth it!
I ordered the big smoke crunch with fries and gravy. I wasn't a fan of the whisky bbq sauce. There wasn't much on there, but I asked for extra so I could taste, but it wasn't that appealing. The chicken was gigantic and cooked to perfection. I expected better fries, but they were just OK. The gravy was just brown gravy, which is okay, but I was hoping for a more hearty gravy. It was a big meal and I wasn't able to finish it all, so overall worth the price.

I do want to visit again as the menu looks fantastic and I'd love to try more of the dishes. Think it would be a great place for a date night as well. Dundas is such a cute little town.

I've just reduced my rating from a five star to a three star. We wanted a special "burger and fries" kind of takeout meal for a birthday supper. All four of us were unimpressed with the quality of the food. I ordered the hummus burger, and I was unable to eat it. You seriously must up your game, people. I struggled to eat three bites because the host had just paid almost $100 for four burgers, and I didn't want to upset them. My burger was not prepared as per the menu description, and was inedible. A second person who ordered the same thing gave the same review - horrible. That person made theirs slightly more edible by adding sauce from our kitchen. Both of us would never order this item again, and feel this business should refund our money. Yuck: (

Great, spacious patio, friendly staff, and tasty food and drinks! Not cheap, but not too expensive either. Had the Jambalaya which was tasty, though I think my friends enjoyed other dishes more than I did mine.

Great food and a great atmosphere. Usually order ribs & wings. The wings are some of the best wings I've had. Although I feel the taste of food has slipped just a bit ever since the menu was shortened sometime around the pandemic. I wish they still had Calamari. Overall though still one of my favorite restaurants in Dundas!

Service was good. Ambiance is ok. Seating is ok slightest uncomfortable bc the booth is hard wood.
Solid beer. Cocktails are ok. Food is good or ok depending on the item. The lobster sandwich was good but the chicken funnel cake was quite interesting in not a great way.
Overall very neutral experience.

Location is really great right in the heart of Dundas Valley town. The food was good too, the salmon was especially yummy. The service and drink selection was also awesome

Food was hot, but the ceaser salad was kinda gross. Beer was ultra cold! Wings are far too expensive for that portion.

Great patio, nice staff. Food not quite there though. No option for unbreaded wings? I feel like they can do better. Still a fun spot to hang out and have a drink

We came in earlier today and we were waiting for more family to join us. My son (4) for antsy and overwhelming for lol

I asked if they had crayons and the waitress said no, but that she had me. She came back with two small homemade notebooks for both my kids and some writing utensils. It was so appreciated and she went around her role.

This location has always had a special place in my heart. Ever since I went to it under another name as a child. It used to be called "Duck's" and it was a very family friendly place to bring the family for a meal.

This is still a place that holds family near and dear.
