They were so professional and even got the kilt we wanted despite our short notice. Justin and his staff really know thier stuff and it fit perfectly. My husband was the most handsome Father of the Bride.

Staff made everything easy for my groomsmen and I to get the look we wanted for my wedding.
All we had to bring was socks and underwear!

Don't understand the bad reviews, i went to rent a suit for my son's prom, Karin was absolutely exceptional, she recommended colours, style, all the good stuff, well done Karin and thank you so much for helping us! For me it's a 5 star review!

Rented a tux from here for a wedding and I experienced very poor service. As soon as you ask them to change something they look at you like your an inconvenience.
Won't be coming back.

Don't book these guys for your wedding. I am unable to recommend them at all.

5 guys, only one of our suits fit when we picked them up, had to rush back the next day. One of my groomsmens shoes fell apart during the ceremony.

Not open on Sunday for drop-off?

Surely if you need a suit you can find a better place than Collins. This is the only bad review I had to give this weekend.

I hope this review helps to steer at least some business away from here. They clearly can't handle their own workload.

My brother decided to go here for his wedding to rent tuxedo’s I have to say they were amazing especially Justin he went above and beyond to make sure everyone was fitted properly from head to toe. The customer service along with the latest trends Justin knew what would make everyone look perfect for the day. Thank you again for all your help!

Horrible store they didn't tell us 100 dollar deposit that it would not be refunded if you wanted to back out of getting suits from them we are now our a groomsmen a 100 dollars and the groom they are a scandle above and beyond no one told us or we would not have done it all the said was if suit got ruined that money would be kept nothing about us backing out until you look at your receipt they are a scam I give 0 stars for Collins rude and disrespectful roping people who don't have much money in the first place they are ruining a wedding cause of this horrible place never again I'll buy my suits

Showed up 25 minutes early for a wedding appointment and was checking out the store before the party arrived. Was greeted by a sales clerk who made a bad joke discounting the importance of one of my groomsmen, who was not late. I ignored the bad taste in my mouth. But then I was then laughed at when I pointed out an option I liked. The sales clerk began to explain how he couldn't accommodate me despite not having asked me any questions. We left and the big chain suit store down the street took great care of us. They didn't laugh at my choices either. I think I'll look great.

I have never had a bad experience here. Honesty, integrity and quality workmanship is top of the list with Collins. Prices are very reasonable, fabulous staff, alterations are great and always ready on time. Keep up the good work

Save the stress and go elsewhere.
Myself and 5 friends rented suits for a wedding, made 3 trips to the store and each time resulted in the same impatient, seemingly disengaged person assistanting us. I really do not understand why he came across so uninterested to assist us or answer any questions. Broken suspenders were issued. Overall experience was extremely unplesent, he exhibited poor customer service and I will not be returning for future events.

Justin was very personable and got us our bow ties super quick. Would recommend ND will be back.

Lots of options for my wedding, and had everything to try on! They also had locations for my guys who are out of the province. The guy who was working was really helpful and knew his stuff. Will definitely be coming back. Save your time and come here.

We first spoke with Justin (the manager) at a wedding show.
From day one he was so helpful. We were originally only purchasing one suit at Collins, but after the customer service Justin gave us.we were sold!
We ended up purchasing/renting from Justin at Collins.
He was so accommodating, and an absolute delight to work with!

We trusted one of the most important days of our lives to Collins Hamilton, our daughter’s wedding. We reserved my husband’s tux months in advance for a November wedding. We requested skinny pants. We were assured that even though they did not have them in store that they would alter the pants to our liking and have Le Chateau type pants the week of the wedding “No problem”. It WAS a problem. We were given old man baggy pants. The jacket wouldn’t even do up. The sales clerk lied to us to cover his butt. Said you want Le Chateau pants and we don’t do that. Just be honest. Don’t waste our precious wedding week time. Such a hassle that we didn’t need. Left us shopping for a tux the day before the wedding when we should have been with family. So dishonourable. Why would you pay for that kind of service? All they offered was $10 off. Um no. I didn’t even want to leave 1 star.

Went into Collins after a very dismal experience at Moores and we should have went here first! Justin the store manager was excellent, had a lot of options to choose from and had stock on everything in the shop! Don't waste your time anywhere else for suits, this is the place.

Very helpful and affordable. They worked quickly upon opening with the whole Covid thing and made the gentlemen look amazing for the wedding. Just in time!

My fiancé and I made an appointment on the Collins website for a consultation for our wedding. We get there 10 minutes before our appointment and there was 3 other groups of people already in the store and 2 girls working. They finished up with one of the groups and we figured we would be next. We waited 30 minutes (not an exaggeration) with no acknowledgement that we were even there. No "Hello, do you have an appointment? " or "I'll be with you shortly". They didn't even look at us. We ended up leaving after 30 minutes because we didn't know how much longer it would be and we didn't want to keep awkwardly standing there
We will not be coming back. Hopefully we get better service at the Kitchener location.

We rented our Tuxedos for me and my groomsmen through Collins. 2 in Hamilton, 2 in St. Catharines. Also rented a suit for my Dad who was in a Long Term Care home from Hamilton store. Justin went above and beyond making sure my Dad was taken care of. He went to the home to measure my dad up then sent an extra size in multiple items to make sure that everything would fit on the day. Dad looked great! Thank you very much!

I have been to the store twice now and both times the gentleman there "Justin" was helpful and very knowledgeable about formal wear and mens fashion I would definetly recommend Collins to anyone looking for fornal wear for an event or personal reasons

Used Collin's for rental suits for my wedding and bought a suit for my husband. Suits were great, no issues. The boys complained about the shoes being uncomfortable so might want to bring your own!

Had my suit arrive 2 days prior to the wedding having previously been measured at the store. When i brought the suit home, i tried on the the pants and coat.and it was like attempting to put on a 5 year olds clothes. They had my measurements but never thought about the suit being extremely slim fitting and thus making the sizing different. I was 10 sizes above what they gave me after i went back! They also told me it would take a few days for the suit to arrive again.the wedding is in 2 days.they told me by 10am it would be there so i already missed all photos.and the suit didn't end up showing for another 3 hours! THIS PLACE IS NOT GOOD. STAY AWAY.

Excellent service. Had a wonderful experience picking out suits for our upcoming wedding. There were a ton of options and they had the exact shade we were looking for. Would definitely recommend.

Great helpful staff, I needed a suit for a wedding and a suit for a funeral for me and my dad, I looked great both times!

I just had my wedding this past weekend and I really couldn't say enough good things about this location. I'm sure the attention to detail runs through the whole company.

They were helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in the door. They helped us with selections and fitting, had a polite answer for every inquiry and they were knowledgable about their product line.

They were amenable to changes and worked around some of my groomsmen coming in from Korea and Germany.

When the suits arrived they were all correct and in order, they were able to switch some of my groomsmen's jackets last minute for an even better fit.

Lastly, the prices are very fair (if you aren't expecting to or can't pay $200 for a good quality tux rental I feel bad for you son) and (I'm not saying that this would be common practice but) they even let me go away without paying a one day late fee on my personal rental. Oh, and I was able to pick up from the Hamilton location and drop off in the Kitchener location. Everything was a breeze.

Wonderful experience with Collin's all around and I would both highly recommend and use them again if I need to.

This place is an absolute joke. I had my wedding on the weekend, Friday to be exact. I ordered 8 tuxidoes from this store and they showed up at5pm on the Wednesday a day and a half before the wedding. I was told by the guy that worked there to come pick all 8 up between 5pm and 6pm before they closed. There’s no way for me to get all 8 people there to try on their things it wasn’t possible. Well the first tux that was put on didn’t fit. Coat and pants too small. I asked now what. The guy says to me oh will see what we can do. Umm, no not a good answer. He comes back and says I’ve ordered a larger size it will be in Friday by 11am. My head almost exploded. I have pictures at 10 on Friday. I don’t understand why this company leaves it until the last minute to call people in to size. I asked the question and all he can say to me is that’s how rentals work. Well maybe that’s how they work at Collins but not at other places get some inventory. The rep I had was absolutely disgusting and rude and didn’t seem to care if we had them in time or not. If I could I would give this place zero stars. I couldn’t believe the horrible service we were givin considering the amount of money they made off my wedding party. Oh and get more staff because the one guy that works in the store is slow and messes things up. No he can’t do it all alone. It would have been nice to get a sorry and maybe a discount for the troubles.
