Comfort Inn

Terrible it smells like an old bowling alley, not to mention they still have carpeting in hallways and Rooms.
Bathrooms aren't that clean, toilet is way to low even for me and I'm only 5'5.

The room was clean. The staff was amazing! The beds were so cozy! Definitely will stay there again and again! The breakfast was great and the lady taking care of the breakfast was awesome. We had a great stay:)

Took my sons reservation using visa debit card, but wouldn't let him secure the room with it when he got there, also wouldnt refund his money. Not impressed! This to a new young military member heading across the country on his first posting. I hope this place doesn't rely on military folks staying here. Super8 across the street was very happy to take him. Horrible service!

Great place, there's plenty of food places nearby! Very convenient. Room sizes are also pretty good! It did have a funky smell tho, but you learn to ignore it?

I had to stay here for a week to work - I will be requesting alterative accommodations if I'm working in the area again.

The positives:

- Staff was very friendly, and there is a grocery store, Tim Hortons and Canadian Tire right across the road.
- Dirt cheap - you get what you pay for.
- Probably a good place to party, don't have to worry much about wrecking anything, it's a dump.

The negatives:

- Strong smell of urine (or they clean with ammonia).
- Found a lot of dusty areas that haven't been cleaned in quite some time.
- Beds are uncomfortable.
- I think the mattress and appliances are older than I am, doesn't look like anything has been updated since the place was built.
- While inspecting the mattress for bedbugs I lifted the sheets to see the mattress was very heavily stained - it looks like something died on it.
- Was genuinely concerned my vehicle would be broken into. Possible housing for homeless people? Caught a dude taking a leak next to my car and came home to a couple crack heads arguing infront of my room.

There are lots of food options right next to the hotel. Would have given 5 stars for the rooms. But no elevator for 2nd floor and pillows are dated/lumpy. Otherwise, it's a good hotel.

Staff are really accommodating. Rooms need their electrical plugs redone, they are loose and my blow-dryer kept falling out of the outlet.

Great bed, nice pillows, good breakfast. Water with lemon when you check in. Great stay. I will be back.

As a chain hotel, the rooms are all very similar. This Comfort Inn was no different from any other I've stayed in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water and the tub had a nice angled back that makes it easy to relax within. The staff at the front desk was very pleasant and friendly.

The location of this hotel was perfect as it is situated on the outskirts of Sudbury and easily accessible from the highway.
