The staff were very friendly and accommodating. This is your typical along the highway type place to sleep. Nothing fancy but it does what it is supposed to, provide a place to sleep.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking lot is very roomy. Always a pleasure staying here

Arrivé à 2h00 pm, nous accommode même si possession de la chambre à 3h00 pm. AUCUN EMPLOYÉ parle français à l'hôtel "j'en ai pas besoin" dit fièrement jeune réceptionniste, dans cette ville bilingue. On charge 10 $ de plus que ce qu'on nous avait dit à la réservation 6 jours plus tôt, séjour début septembre. Confort au rendez-vous et déjeuner très bon.p. S. On a pas pu réserver en français dans aucun des hôtels de Kapuskasing.

From the super nice and helpful Amelia at the front, comfy bed, loved the outside access on the room to the great full breakfast and busy breakfast lady, (remember to tip your breakfast lady, she works hard) our best night and morning Hotel across the country so far.

As soon as we walked in the motel to go to our room, the smell was overpowering. Ease up on the scents or fabreeze! Some people are allergic to fragrance. I woke up the next morning with swollen eyes from an allergic reaction. So disappointing.

Older property that has been marginally updated with newer laminate flooring. Other then that, you know you are staying in a 40 year old property. Here's the problems that happened to me while there.
Door key didn’t work: : got another room
They didn’t update records and rented my new room to another customer. Much confusion reined (who's in that room, who should be)
Toilet was running when I entered the room.
No toilet paper
No coffee maker
Got coffee maker from front desk but had to wash it (they supplied dish soap)
Coffee maker didn’t work.
Exhaust fan sometimes didn’t work.

While not technically a problem, they also gave a brown bag breakfast.

The staff, while friendly, tried to accommodate but it seemed they just couldn't get things together.
Not very good value for money.

Have stayed here many times over the years and likely will again but this time certainly left a lot to be desired. We were putting in late nights and waking up late ut our room was never cleaned in the 3 days we were here, never got resupplied for toilet paper, towels or soap. Complained about a bed that was like a teeter-totter for some reason.that was never fixed and on the last day we were woken up by the cleaner 2 hours before checkout to remind us to check out. Additionally, in reading other reviews, this pre checkout wake up seems to be standard operations. The final straw was also the morning of our last day when we opened the air conditioner to adjust it and you can see that it is full of mould!
So.clean your own room, supply your own room, repair your own room, then get out!
Not feeling the Comfort this time at all.

Not fair to give a proper review because the hotel was the location of displaced indigenous people from a neighboring community who have lost their housing due to flooding. Good for you comfort Inn Kapuskasing! Room was clean and standard. No complaints

We came for some metal detecting from southern Ontario. Just what we needed, cheap, clean, rather comfy. Give the lady at front desk a rise, she is super nice.

Front desk lady was very pleasant. Room was nice. You could see the age in the property but a good value for price. Would stay again.

Front desk was very friendly, check in was very fast. Room was clean, and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. But room service hammering on my door at 9 am after a late night, and despite checkout not being til 11 lowered my rating

Front desk lady was very pleasant. Water pressure could strip the Chrome off a trailer hitch, could have stood in there for a long time. Tv was pretty small/old and not on a high enough ledge. Room was pretty clean, no complaints there. Only 3 stars because housekeeping was banging on our door at 9am. Not sure why they thought it would be appropriate when we got in at 2am. Kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. A better system to check if people are still there and sleeping would have been cool.

TV didn't work on the first night, notify the front desk. The attendant checked it out. Notify manager in the morning.
Second night TV still didn't work. No sound, picture would go to black after one minute. They had no problems charging the full amount $151 + tax per night.
Will not be staying there next time.

Nice little hotel. Own door entrance type hotel that was perfect for our stay. No stairs no elevator which we love. Clean and comfortable!

This hotel exceeded my expectations not only is the hospitality of the staff amazing, and welcoming but the hotel is clean and room was great. Breakfast bags were amazing and delicious i left travelodge because of the filth and unprofessionalism and came here out on a whim and im glad i did! Will stay again!

Excellent hospitality from staff. Been here long term and can't think of a betrer place. Awesome service even in the midst of a pandemic

Nice and clean with hard beds and if you are in a group of more than 2 people in a room with 2 queens you will need more bath supplies than what's in the room. There is only a SMALL bottle shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast is a to go bag because of COVID19. Otherwise really good. Good staff and clean rooms.

For $100 I really didn’t have high expectations, pet friendly, friendly staff, sadly the other residents made it uncomfortable.

Between the unsolicited knock at 2100 for a guy looking for “chris”, and the loud smoke out gatherings outside our room.

Breakfast I wish was a little more to it, a muffin, fruit salad and a water bottle in a bag really isn’t much for “breakfast”, but again, $100 can’t really complain

Budget motel w friendly staff

Covid compliant? Masks in public spaces. Plexiglass at front desk.
Ground floor rooms with sliding door access to parking adds $40.00 verbatim to posted rates. Had 201, AC worked sporadically, bathroom door/wall has punch holes, no toilet paper dispenser, towel rack not securely fastened, STAINS on towels, floors had tread marks from previous occupants, spoke to Manager who admitted and acknowledged defects in room 201 but no compensation, no other room offered.
NOT RECOMMENDED.

We had a fantastic stay! Clean and comfortable rooms. Even with covid, we still received breakfast! Would recommend this hotel if your coming through town.

First off I’d like by saying I’m beyond impressed with all the safety measures put in place due to COVID-19. I’ve stayed at a few hotels over the last few days visiting my Province of Ontario and none had what they do. They truly are going above and beyond to ensure the health and safety of their staff and guests. The room was sparkling clean and fresh sheets. I’m pointing out the sheets because a few places we stayed at were less then acceptable especially during this pandemic. This is the 3rd Comfort Inn we’ve stayed at during our travels and we will not stray away again! Great job to all the hard working staff and management! 10 stars!

Wanda at the front desk was very pleasant and helped with everything we needed after a long 12 hour day of driving, rooms were very cozy and felt like home, breakfast was great, thanks again Wanda.

Unfortunately our stay here wasn't the best. Staff checking us in made us feel like she was doing us a favour, borderline rude. There was a coffee pot in the room but no cups or even glasses for water. We probably won't stay there again.

The night staff was one of the worst employees I have ever meet rude and not approachable.
The breakfast was bad as well.the ham was sitting in the tray so long it was like eating jerky.
The bread had an odd taste as if it was bad.
The rooms where great though had a great sleep.

Nice and clean. Friendly staff. Continental breakfast however is always scrambled eggs slightly overcooked.

Excellent food n rooms, however kitchen staff was a bit grumpy with us for asking where ketchup n the washroom was. Otherwise good stay.

Clean, updated rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast is good with a variety of things available. Convenient location in town. Would recommend and stay again.

Kapascasing Ontario. Room with queen bed and desk. 2nd floor. Definitely would stay there again if needed.
