Comfort Inn & Suites Collingwood

When I checked in they gave me a room that when I walked in was already occupied with people in it! Then no hot water for the whole stay from Friday to Sunday. Family suite room wasn’t as it appeared online it was just a room with two queen beds and sofa bed. Dated and worn out common area furniture.

The hotel is dated and not as clean as we would like. The bed felt soft and saggy. Interestingly, they had a delivery of mattresses during our stay so your sleep might be better. The bathroom exhaust fan was covered with a thick layer of dust so we asked to have it cleaned. They dusted it, but it needed a wet cloth or brush to get the grime and dust off. They served the same scrambled eggs every day - it would nice to have a change once in a while (we were there for 4 nights). On the positive side, the staff were nice and it is a lot less expensive than the village for a snow getaway! The drive into Blue Mountain is super easy from this location and there are lots of good places for dinner close by. We may give them another try and hopefully get a room with one of those new mattresses.
