Commander Park Arena

Very cold rink, especially in the dead of winter. Not to mention that all the parking is at the rear of the building but the entrance is the length of the ice and more to walk out the front and then to the back. Dressing rooms are tiny with no facilities. If you have skates on you'd better have skate guards because walking through the tiled lobby is the only way to get to a washroom or a sink.

Visited for a 3 day hockey tournament. The arena was filthy - an embarrassment to the community! Washrooms didn't appear to have been serviced throughout the day and the arena stands hadn't been swept for days, or so it appeared. Garbage pails overflowing and spilled food and drink in hallways and lobby. Certainly our children deserve better facilities. It's sad how much Scarborough has deteriorated since the formation of the megacity. Toronto City Council doesn't care about Scarborough! Shameful!

Blast from the past granddaughter played in tournament haven't been there in 30 years

It's an OK arena. A bit dated and simple. The entrance is at the front and all parking is way at the back so you gotta walk far maybe carrying 60 lbs of goalie equipment, but it's a good warm up!

Great place to watch the kids play hockey, especially with the heaters on for the spectators

Nice skating rink for kids. Several change rooms but some are always locked despite mass crowds of parents and kids. Plenty of parking at the back.

Needs a reno. Ice surfaces, change rooms, player's benches, washrooms, and viewing areas are all terrible. Parking is not sufficient as well.

Commander Park arena is an older building but it's clean and the staff sre fairly helpful. My issue is allowing non handicapped people to park in handicapped spots. I get it that there was a hockey tournament on and although it has plenty of parking when games over lap its difficult but.
