Very good school! I’m doing my MELT program with them, and everything is explained so well. They answer any questions and teach you step by step until everyone understands. All the books and paperwork are provided and explained. Highly recommended

So folks time for an update.
Today I just pass my driving test for DZ.

Now I have to bring to everyone's attention, I don't think I would be able to pass if I did not have IBRAHIM as an instructor.
He really takes his time to explain every single small detail, how to do it, why, how to behave on a test, and how to answer questions on a test.
He was never annoyed with my million and one question about everything.

Even if I got tired and stressed out he would find to way to calm me and explain me importance of all that.
Well, I am age 48 and how goes that saying “ it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks”?

Well, That is exactly what Ibrahim did with me, he DID teach me new tricks.
Also very respectable and very precise.

Overall, without disrespect to other instructors in CHET, this guy did a phenomenal job with me.

Also have huge respect for the management (Sandra and Fransoais), these guys are very, very supportive and very understanding of a student at needs.

All I can say, one great experience and I am looking forward to come back to grab my A/Z

Every good review comes from a good experience. Not so with CHET and Musket Transportation! They manipulate you into thinking that you have a job at the end of training but kisses go by favor. I dare say I spent an extra $5,000.00 just cos they promised a job they didn't deliver. I had to go job hunting after training. I will never, ever recommend this company to anyone. After $9,000.00 in the bag and promising a job as stated clearly on their website, me and 90% of the trainees had to go job hunting. NOT COOL! And customer service leaves something to be desired. I need 5,000.00 back please?

So, 10 minutes after I wrote this I got a call from operations manager, with threatening words? Seriously?

I was a student at CHET enrolled in the AZ program. Over the past few months I learned so much and feel 100% comfortable to pursue this career path with the help of everyone at CHET. Their attention to safety and education is the priority in the hours you are required to complete, where as other companies don't really care if you retained anything. This is the only school that really encourages women to become truck drivers as well so that was big for me. Special thanks to Sandra and the instructors who were patient and understanding to my work schedule around my training!

Great place to start your professional truck driving career. Very hard working team gives us easy licensing test to pass. I won’t mention you guys one by one but I did had a great time learning from each one of you guys.

After researching the training in the GTA, I found CHET had the best reputation and pass rate of the area. I sent one of our drivers through CHET for an upgrade from DZ to ACZ. Our driver loved the experience and was excited during his training. Even after the loss of a Senior Trainer, they still got him through to a successful conclusion! Received great training here. Highly recommend instructor Robert if you’re struggling. He shows you very technically how to backup, or make manoeuvres. Walter is also an amazing instructor to learn off of. Thank you for giving me my start in trucking.

Thanks to CHET, I passed my AZ license first time. One of the best school in Ontario to learn truck driving skills. Thanks to all the instructors who helped me get better every day.

First foremost after alot of research i have pick the best advance school for learning trucking it is so detailed either is it paperwork or learning how to drive truck or inspections. At time i am almost thinking that i can’t able to pass but the encouragement i got it is remarkable. They make sure student learn every bit of it they will face in real time scenarios. From classwork, homework’s practicals or either on simulators. Entire school staff from administration to instructors everyone put genuinely 100% on you. I need to mention Mr. Nelson gem of a guy regarding the Air brake or paperwork, Ian from Administration best accommodating person, Mr.phil problem solver, Mr. Richard very knowledgeable, Mr. Joerge very humble, Mr. Miro friendly, Mr. Uri backing experts. There are alot of other staff put efforts to make our time in school a long lasting memory. Thanks for everything. Now i am proud to be a trucker from the best school

Thanks to all the instructors (Phil, Richard, Miro, Walter, Yuri) & the office ladies. Backing was my biggest issue and probably for most students. And I would like to say a big thank you to Jorgi who help me to fix my backing issue & I was able to pass last Friday.

Management was good and friendly, Instructors were very professional in their work especially Pre Trip Inspection and Road, They provide plenty of time and technical knowledge about Truck Trailer Backup in a unique way. Big thanks Dweigh, Walter, Miro and Jorge Appreciated.

Instructors are not properly trained to give safe driving classes. One of the instructors doesn’t even know how to exactly measure air loss of tractor trailer combined. Wouldn’t recommend going to this place.

Went to them for my DZ. Everyone working here is an absolute professional at their job. Excellent instructors and front office staff. Can't say enough or thank them enough. I spent most of my lessons with Miroslaw and bratko did not disappoint. Great man. Dwight Phil Richard George were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Good at what they do. I personally think chat is the best truck driving school out there It just taught me how to really be a professional truck driver.the training is very intense very thorough schedule one done by George was top notch. In class held by Dwight right to the point in accurate every step of the way the things he told me what happened on the road did happen on the road. Backing done by Merrill top notch he will make sure you understand how to back up perfectly. Phil Fletcher was awesome as the office staff when I went to register Ian in the office was perfect

For anyone looking to get their Class AZ or DZ license, I highly recommend going with CHET! Please ask for Ian and request to be with Jorge! I cannot say enough good things.
There are a lot of trucking schools out there that will simply sell you a package and take your money regardless! CHET does everything in-house, from Z endorsements to the in-yard road test.
They will teach you the right way. In my case I found CHET after completing the MELT with another school which I was unhappy with.
Immediately I noticed the difference. This is school that has 2 simulators, awesome instructors like I said ask for JORGE who helped me pass my road test!

Super professional! Walter taught me everything I needed to know about driving a manual transmission truck. Going back here when it's time to get my A.

Today I got my AZ license from CHET. This is a great school for taking training. They have very knowledgeable and highly skilled trainers like Walter, Richard, David and Miro. Also I want to thank Jorge, who was my trainer, for his great guidance, knowledge and training skills all along. CHET is such a school, whose training modules and styles are way different than other truck training schools. I want to THANK CHET for my success to achieve AZ license.

Mr. Nelson helped alot in theory classes and a wonderful teacher i had met. In cab instructors jeorge, walter, richard, miro, david are wonderful instructor who guided me in my flaws and i passed the AZ road test at Ontario ministry with manual truck.

So far the experience has been tremendous. All the instructors and staff are super helpful, now I am just praying I get my AZ license fast. If you really want to learn in detail don’t go anywhere CHET is the best school.

Researched many different truck driving schools and spoke to many drivers that had completed courses with CHET as well other truck driving schools. CHET kept coming out on top of all recommendations. So it was a no brainer, I signed up late January. I'm currently 2/3 into completing my AZ license and without hesitation I'm completely satisfied with my choice to enroll with CHET. All instructors are absolutely amazing, helpful, patient, encouraging and industry knowledgable. I highly recommend if you are considering commercial driving CHET is place to complete your mandatory driver training. You will not be disappointed. Bravo to all the staff, managers and driver trainers at CHET, job well done!

I am thinking of opting for a second career as a truck driver, basically I am a Tig welder, I am surfing and searching the net for a good training school. Near me I live in Etobicoke. I really appreciate the way your team is handling all the reviews. I see a lot of misunderstanding being clarified by the cool headed people appointed by the company and it is really a commendable job by you.
It's a really tough job to maintain such prestigious company.

No doubt instructor are very good. But school management is zero, the receptionist doesn’t know anything to help, the lady beside always busy some other stuff. I will recommend Philips to look after this and your reviews don’t ignore this. We students brought business to the school along with our new references.

Last thing please don’t ignore new students. Preferring other.

This company is finessing the province of Ontario 8000 per person. All of your classmates come from the welfare office. Don't spend a dollar of your hard earned money here. Their is no "job" guarantee.

Read the contracts they give you. There is no job whatsoever.

I went to CHET after getting my AZ licence through a different commercial driving school.

After getting my AZ I applied to a few truck companies and during the road test portion of the selection process it became apparent that I had not been taught properly at the other school, specifically when it came to backing a tractor, trailer combination. It's probably best to say that I didn't know what I didn't know as I had only been taught enough to get through the AZ test and that was concerning.

I searched for a different school that knows backing is an essential skill when operating a commercial vehicle, I spoke to several different schools and opted for CHET as they were willing to give me instruction specifically in backing a truck which was exactly what I needed and provided the basics that had previously been lacking.

I wish I'd found CHET before spending my money at the competitor's school it would have saved a lot of time and frustration.

I would thoroughly recommend CHET to anybody who is thinking about getting an AZ licence.
