Good coffee and tasty cinnamon twist donuts.
Would be five stars for take out.

However, we sat down for our drinks and treats. Unfortunately, the seating is super uncomfortable. I am guessing that is to keep people from overstaying. Most of the chairs sloped forward. I couldn't last through a medium coffee before I had to move to a bench seat.

We went in because the place was not super busy. We now know why.

Just tried their new donuts from Lady Glaze. Amazing! Easily the best donuts in London! The store is really nice and everyone who works there is super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We just moved to London, so we're just exploring the area. Just got some coffee and tea. Bright space, was busy during the day. I liked comfy leather chairs and a minimalistic
interior.

I love coming here for a coffee during my break at work, they have great donuts if you’re feeling something sweet. They also have a small lunch menu with some yummy sandwiches. The coffee is realllyyyy good!

What a great little coffee shop. If donuts don’t seem to taste what they used to, come here and have one, or two. Honey & Pistachio! Big. Fresh. Soft. Delicious. And a great black Americano.

The staff aren’t very welcoming. I wasn’t too pleased about them trying to push me to pay with debit/cash.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the delightful treats from Boxcar Donuts in London. As they provided 300+ donuts for two separate events, Administrative Professional Day and Nurses Appreciation Week at LHSC. The morning of the event, I realized I had missed counted, I phoned Karri the morning of the event in a panic to see if they were able to accommodate an additional 30 donuts on top of the 300 ordered. She was lovely, and assured me it wouldn't be a problem.  I must say that their exceptional service and delectable donuts left a lasting impression for me and our staff.

From the moment I stepped into Boxcar Donuts, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and displayed genuine enthusiasm. Their passion for donuts were evident, and they went above and beyond to ensure a delightful experience for everyone.

Now, let's talk about the donuts themselves. Wow! Boxcar Donuts truly knows how to craft the perfect treat. Each donut was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The variety they offered was impressive, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. From classic flavors of their always menu, like Glazed and Chocolate, Cinnamon Twist to unique creations like Salted Duluce de Leche, White Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Madagascar Vanilla Bean. There was something to satisfy every craving.

What truly sets Boxcar Donuts apart is the exceptional quality of their donuts. Each bite was a heavenly delight, with a perfect balance of textures and flavors. The dough was light, fluffy, and oh-so-fresh, while the glazes and fillings were rich and indulgent. It was evident that great care and attention to detail went into creating these delectable treats.

Furthermore, their contribution to both the Administrative Professional Day and Nurses Appreciation Week events was commendable. The donuts were beautifully presented, adding a touch of sweetness and gratitude to these special occasions. It was clear that Boxcar Donuts understands the importance of celebrating and appreciating the hard work of these dedicated professionals.

In addition to their top-notch donuts and exceptional service, Boxcar Donuts also offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The shop itself is charming, with the organic minimalist interior design and comfortable seating. Overall, I cannot recommend Boxcar Donuts enough. Their dedication to crafting delicious donuts, coupled with their outstanding service and genuine appreciation for their customers, make them a standout choice in London, Ontario. Whether you're treating yourself or looking to make an event extra special, Boxcar Donuts is the place to go. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

The poor over coffee that I had was very fruit forward, which is definitely right up my alley. Donuts are incredible to say the least and this is definitely a must stop if you come to.

Hours posted are incorrect, took transit for 45 minutes to take my girlfriend here and the cafe was closed at 4: 30 on Sunday: (

To tell you the truth I don't think this place is all that (not talking about the food or drinks, just our short stay there. Tables with sharpie written on saying "short stay only" and 'no laptops". We had to wait to order eventhough 3 girls were working and only 2 other customers were there. I would understand if the place was busy but there were only 2 people there. It actually felt unwelcoming und somewhat uncomfortable. My daughter works at another coffee shop on Richmond and it is nothing like this. Customers are welcomed for the moment the walk in the store and it's always packed. People actually line up before the store opens in the morning to get a seat or grab a coffee or something to eat.

The cappuccino was perfect and the mint chocolate cookie dough donut was one of the best I have ever had. The store is beautifully decorated and the staff were very friendly.

So many places (major chains looking at you) don't clean the coffee vessels enough and you can taste it, this place has great coffee, friendly staff and delicious doughnuts. From what I understand they pay their staff more than other coffee shops, and that is important. If there was infrastructure for it, I would love if they had a doughnut vending machine at night time for the left over stock (though that might be dangerous for my health)

Their slogan on the donut box is “we think good donuts are a necessity in life. ”… then why are they consistently selling stale donuts? I am tired of buying donuts that are not fresh. I don’t know what their issue is, but I’m tired of the disappointment. Have been enough times with enough chances to have now reached a point of no return.

Great ambience! Cozy and neat. The coffee is not the greatest, we had latte, it tasted plain, not strong enough, however the doughnuts were good.

Nice place. Good coffee. I was hoping to have a sandwich to eat but can only find donuts. Was told they will be expanding their menu soon. Will come back later.

Been here a number of times a the coffee is always superb. I would give it give stars except for one detail, I wish it were open earlier. Eight thirty or nine am on Saturdays and Sundays. Maybe it's just me but for me coffee is an important beverage to get my day started.
Coffee in the afternoon is okay but my days off still start early and I don't always want to make my own, besides I can't make donuts like that, the donuts rock.

My friend took me here in the morning for some donuts as he knows I love going to different donut shops around Ontario.

The donuts were big which was great and were very soft. The icing also was on the softer side which was nice opposed to that hard layer some icings create. Would definitely come back when in London.

Nice little spot that serves donuts as well as many hot drinks. I had the pumpkin spice caramel latte, it was good, but didn't really taste much pumpkin spice.

Favourite coffee shop in London! Great coffee selection, seating and their unique donuts are a must.
My only complaint is I wish you could order a simple iced coffee without paying for a $5 cold brew (literally just want a regular coffee with ice!)

First time visiting this busy little coffee shop and I have to say I am in love. The staff are friendly and do their job wonderfully, always checking the café and clearing off the tables. This place is fully of live, so many people coming and going. This spot is awsome for dates, get togethers, working on project or a quick cup of Joe.

Great drink selections. A nice assortment of fresh whole beans to take home. Incredible donuts. Friendly servers, awesome decor and atmosphere.

The atmosphere and decor is nice. The service is quite efficient and staff is friendly. The quality of the tea and hot chocolate (only things I ordered) could be improved. They were both quite weak on flavor and even temperature.

I love the coffee and tea options as well as have noticed a really friendly staff! Delicious drinks and food to choose from so if I’m studying or doing some work, it’s also been a great environment for that.

Cute little coffee place with DELICIOUS donuts and baked goods! Great place to hang out, do some work, or grab something to go.

I had a delicious veggie sandwich but my friend and I both had disappointing lattes, they were barely warm and had little flavour. I will try again though, nice space and cheery employees. I look forward to trying your donuts!

The coffee here is good, but I rarely come here for the coffee. They have the best donuts in the world inside! Box car donuts are worth heading downtown for. They have different flavours every week (check out their insta page for the flavours that week) and I have yet to have one that was not good! A must try for anyone who loves a donut.

Excellent coffee, several roasts available and there is info about where the beans are roasted. Also picked up a few of the BoxCar donuts, and I'm told by the tasters that they are light, not too sweet and yummy.

Had a coffee and a donut. Was great. They have a few choices for donuts.all seemed good. Comfortable seating with fancy lighting. Good place to hangout.

Last spring, saw lots of imaged and post about this coffee shop on Instagram.
Came inside, was nice and the vibe too! Let me tell you this, this coffee shop it's quite expensive more than starbucks. I order medium cold brew with 2 shots of sugar free vanilla syrup.it was blah like no flavour or no taste. I asked a lady could I get 1 more and she did. The cream/milk stand set up it's so small that I didn't see it, I had to asked the staff and she show me. I'm a cold brew coffee person, there cold brew isn't the best compared to starbucks. I find that their iced coffee cup and hot cup are "custom made/with sticker logo" which I think it's cost $1-$2 extra just for the cup. Their medium cold brew with 2/3 shots of sugar free vanilla syrup it's $6.00.that is a pricey drink I ever order in London.

Great hot drinks! We tried the matcha latte and a steamed milk. Both were delicious! We've also tried several flavours of the Boxcar donuts (hibiscus, cherry chip and sprinkle) and though we liked them, we didn't find them to be life changing.

The coffee is great, the staff is super helpful, and the atmosphere is relaxing. A great shop that takes coffee seriously.

Pleasant and clean boutique coffee shop. Good alternative to Starbucks or Coffee Culture. The staff are friendly and helpful. Beautiful modern, airy space that is very relaxing and modern. Their coconut flavoured cold brew is absolutely delicious. Definitely worth stepping into and sitting down at by one self or with a friend or two.

Great cold brew, good service, nice atmosphere to sit & enjoy, awesome people watching, & extremely clean washrooms. Can't wait to go back there. The donuts look amazing. Thanks!

The cafe is very nice on the inside, they have wonderful coffee equipment and seems well designed. A gorgeous machine, and the baristas all seem pleasant. I have been in about 4 times and unfortunately all those things cannot make up for the coffee. I have tried different milk based beverages as well as the Americano. My first visits I ordered a small to try and it was pretty good! But it seems their ratios don’t change based on the size of the drink. I ordered a larger size on my last few visits and if you order a large the drink is mostly milk without the proper amount of coffee.
Their menu shows lattes and caps all have 2 shots in them which is fine but that also needs to change based on the size of the cup if you are paying for a larger size you need to get more espresso to balance out the added milk or water. The barista at the last visit had wonderful milk but the lack of espresso couldn’t help save my latte. I couldn’t tell you anything about how the espresso tasted because it seemed like an afterthought, instead of the showcase it should be. If you visit stick to the small size so you aren’t overloaded with milk or water and can taste your coffee.
