Incredible food, phenomenal service. I don’t know what was best - the taste, the portions, the attentiveness & friendliness of staff. Special shoutout to Michelle for being especially helpful. 5 ️ experience would recommend 10/10

A few months ago, it was great: lively atmosphere, server had great suggestions and food was freshly prepared and tasty.
Unfortunately, last week, everything went downhill: one dish, out of 3, was good, vermicelli overcooked, duck dish had duck skin, only. While we were eating, chairs were scraping the floor while being upturned to the tables, The clinking of the drying and sorting dishes behind our table lasted as long as we were eating. I thought they were closing for the day at 3 pm. We tried to discuss these issue with the employees, to no avail.
Terrible!

We love congee queen and usually dine in at heartland location. Picked up some take out here today, although service was very fast and friendly, food portion seems smaller compared to when we dine in. Also the bbq meat was very dry, and food was a bit bland. I'll stick to the other location.

First time at this location and everything was fantastic. The food is simply delicious and the service was awesome.

Everything was tasty.
The portions are good and so is the price.
There are multiple locations across the GTA.

Yet another congee restaurant. Four large individuals visited and ordered eight dishes. We arrived after 2: 30, past the bustling lunch hour. It would have been appreciated if they could have accommodated us at a larger table, considering there were many vacant ones.

If you’re a fan of Chinese cuisine, you absolutely have to try Congee Queen. This restaurant offers some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had.
One dish in particular that stood out was the turnip cake. I had heard great things about it, and it did not disappoint. The texture was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. I found myself ordering it again and again every time I came here.
The congee was also excellent with a rich, savory broth and a variety of toppings to choose from. And if you are a fan of dim sum, you’ll love the section here.
The restaurant is always clean and well-maintained, which is a big plus. The prices are also very reasonable, especially given the high quality of food

Seems very clean, staff is great good place for gathering with family of a group of friends hopefully they hear you say you hungry as portions sometimes differ somewhat, pricing not bad, sometimes bit noisy as restaurant gets busy

CQ is one of our go-to's and they never disappoint. Clean, professional staff, parking available, price is reasonable and portion is fair. Their take-out system is organized and fast. Food is hot and packaged neatly.

Huge dine-in restaurant with a large selection on the menu. I've been here several times to try dishes that I haven't eaten before and I haven't yet been disappointed. A must for Asian food enthusiasts.

This has been the family’s fave place for chinese food for years. Food is delicious, service is great & price is reasonable. However, I just would like to call the attention of the management as for the upkeep of the tables & condiments on hand. Kindly make sure that these are regularly cleaned & refilled as needed!

Go to spot for Chinese food! They have all the classics that you would want, it’s fairly priced and good portions. I always enjoy my time here!
The servers are great and attentive, they even have a robot server which is pretty cool!

Pleasantly surprised with everything! Their cheung fun is silky smooth and thin, crispy and flavorful noodles, perfectly fluffy congee! Good service and the environment is nice and clean! Nothing to complain!

Went there on valentines, very disappointed of the food and services provided. Made both me and my husband very upset stomach, food was not good at all!

Great experience at their soft opening. Service was fast and good, portion was great and food is delicious. Since is soft opening and not many people know about it, we didn't need to wait to get a table. Interior is clean and modern, only thing is if you sit by the wall is quite windy from the fans.

Ordered a number of party tray dishes for company lunch. Overall the food was good and the portions were quite large. Food was ready at the expected time.

Went back here recently since my last visit spring 2022. Noticed a big drop in quality of food and service. Feels like CQ has become complacent with their early success and isn't putting in the same effort as they did in their earlier days.

The liver congee was great and I think the price was reasonable for the size and contents. The roast duck rice was alright.

I wonder why this location offers only 5% discount on cash payment, while other location offers 10%. Would like to see 10% discount at all locations.

Worst service ever! We used to go quite often and supported them during the pandemic with takeout orders.
Got there at 8pm tonite (Friday). There were only a few patrons in the restaurant and plenty of staff. Waiter took our order. An hour later, no food. Waiter was nowhere to be found. We had to ask another waiter to look into our order. There was no order. Original waiter was in another section. Had to go find him. He just found the ticket. Placed order. No apology. Asked him if he could at least bring us our drinks. Nothing. Called the manager. He apologized and asked us if we'd rather get it to go. Are you kidding me? We will NEVER go back or recommend the place. We left as soon as our order arrived. If this is how you treat customers, you don't deserve our business or support.

Very much recommended place. You are pretty lucky if you can come to this place.

A visit once again post pandemic. There were few customers when we went there. Staff were very friendly as it was not really busy. Will check them out later again.

Very busy as usual for Congee Queen. The atmosphere and food is great and everything is really new so no worn seats and furniture and stuff (yet).

What a great experience, phenomenal food. You go around ordering several big dishes and then share them with your table so it works out very very well with a group. Everything we got was great and it's one of those places you'd go to every so often, even if it isn't the most expensive.

I had a great experience with a great tasty food. Congee queen never disappoint me. The restaurant was clean despite the fact that we arrived during the busy hours. Keep it up!

Environment was clean and bright
The spare rib that I got was ok, was quite hard to chew
It has a spring roll, soup and vegetables
Milk Tea was not good (tea was weak, milk was strong)
Many selections for lunch

Part of a chain. I was v happy when this location opened close to home. Their other locations are excellent. I hv visited this one maybe 6-7 times, somehow the food just isn't as good as their branches east of here. Just my opinion.

Fresh food, fast service and friendly. Who says you have to go to Markham to get quality Chinese cuisine?

The restaurant is actually really spacious. I thought it was going to be a small seating area but it is at least as large as the other Mississauga location. Don't be fooled by the width of the sign out front. It's 3x as wide as the sign and runs fairly deep. Service is fast. The food is good. There is a wide selection of dishes. It's one of my go to locations for good food.

Good location, restaurant has lots of tables and inside is large so it's good for large groups. Food is tasty and made just right. Staff speaks good English.

Food is good but service needs improving, both waiters serving us last Sunday evening like robots.

We've been here probably about a dozen times now and it's excellent. Food is always fresh and comes out very fast. Service is quite good and the place is well-staffed. This Congee Queen is not as busy as the one at Heartland (Boyer Blvd) so the wait times are not crazy but still quite bustling. Menu is quite extensive and food quality is consistent each time; also consistent with other Congee Queens in the GTA. Prices are pretty reasonable and the decor is beautiful. Washrooms are also very clean and the whole place is very modern. Highly recommended.

We (8 members) were surprised, disappointed and I could not enjoy our food at this location. The waiters did not care nor knew the order of the food to be brought out. Food came in random order and all our twelve items started getting dumped on our table. We were putting in take out container to make space and two items were stacked on one above the other. Instead of enjoying our food we were organizing and packing our food. Why? Such serve and rush for customers to be out. All the ordering, cooking, and eating took only 45 mins

Good service and food. A little more expensive but not much more than some restaurants with similar dishes.

Long time fan of congee queen and I’m glad they finally brought a location to Etobicoke where good Chinese is lacking. Great congee, Chung fan (sp?) and lots of options. Expect what you would at the other congee queen locations, great food.

Wife and I went to congee queen since they opened recently. Ordered HK style noodle and general tao chicken and paid over 30 dollar for 2 dishes. They are smaller portion than your local Chinese take out. Meats were not even fresh and had a wierd smell to it. We both end up going to washroom several times during the night due to stomachaches. This new place is using low quality ingredients and tastes are not better than your local Chinese place. I wouldn't go again and I dont recommend at all. What a disappointment!
