Always get the peace and calmness walking in the CH parks. I love the various options of hikes available so close to our house.

Registration system is difficult to use, there are people working at the kiosks at each park but they tell you to book online? What are they there for then? Parts of trails are closed and facilities are closed except the odd washroom yet they continue to charge full entrance fee's and parking. There is NO other option in most of Halton but to park in designated paid parking lots. No street parking, etc. Beautiful areas but not worth the aggravation.

I am so grateful to Conservation Halton for implementing and maintaining their reservation system!
It’s amazing and it works. I can walk my dog in peace and not have to worry about hordes of people on the trails!

The new registration system has made hiking a more convoluted process than crossing the border. Not worth the hassle, there are so many beautiful parks in Hamilton and Guelph that have taken a reasonable approach to hiking.

Purchased a family pass. Nice people, quick service. Was not sure I was at the right place when I pulled up. Looked office like and not a retail space. While true it was an office, the front desk was the right place and took good care of me.
