Consulate General of Poland in Toronto

Zero! No way to reach this location by phone or any way! I am trying it for a month in both languages. I was there 20 years ago. Not much good service is here ever.

Worst place to get anything done. Never pick up the phones, they will respond to emails at least. I’ve been here 3 times in one month to get a transcript. They wrote my name wrong and I had to wait 15 min before I could talk to someone right after my appointment. I’m sorry for anyone that has to deal with this place

Very organized, at first wasn't very happy had to book the appointment to sign legal document, but it worked out very well.everyone working there is polite and kind. Especially Ms Monika.

Welcome to the Polish Consulate of Poland in Canada where you get the treatment of a fourth class citizen trying to figure out what's worse. The polish government or the Canadian Citizenship office

Website for booking appointments is a waste of time as it doesn't show any availability at all. There has to be some guidance as to when dates will become available.
No one picks up the phone in YYZ nor returns messages. Very poor experience just trying to get an appointment.

Very bad experience with the "blonde lady" like many people call the person behind the tick glass, did deny to take my application to renew my Polish Passport and till now I steel do not know why. That did happened 2 weeks ago and after my e-mail a day after the appointment Aug 03, asking to explain I have no answer yet. Just to let all You know that I have my Polish Passport, original from Poland, and second one issued by Polish Consulat in Toronto, that is not valid so I want to get one, so I can participate in the Poland's elections on Oct. 15 /2023.

I am voting to "fire the blonde lady" and agree that she is still thinking like the communists. My one star means zero stars.

Be prepared mentally that even if you arrive on time or before your booked time you are not going to be served for another 45-50min.
The delays are insane and I find it really disrespectful. Some of us have a busy schedule and had to take a couple of hours off from work to apply for a passport. Even picking up the passport equals 20-30min of wait time and receiving it takes 10min as the service is extremely slow.
The consulate should definitely improve their service and respect people's time.
The staff should get proper training to know how to talk to people in a professional and respectful manner.
Also forget that anyone will ever answer your phone call, they might respond to your email after a few days/weeks.

The staff was polite and helpful. Bigger problem are administrative procedures which take too long, are expensive and bureaucratic. But that's due to the Polish law which the consular staff must enforce.

Disorganized. Lack of accessibility for those without internet to make an appointment. Slow. Unfriendly. Disappointment in the Polish Consulate.

There's very little and incomplete information on the website. No one answers the calls and there is no recorded message. I don't see any option to communicate in any other way which leaves me helpless. This is a very poor representation of our country in Canada!

The worst experience ever for applying visa, the blonde lady seems to have attitude problems and also is being very racist from the way she treats different applicants. She denied all the document I prepared according to the requirements listed online, and she said only what she said are the right format of documents required for visa application. It’s ridiculous…

They were really helpfull and professional. I recommend calling in before your interview date and clarify the documents required. The process was quick and efficient.

Kind of Disappointed they do no offer translations for Birth Certificates issues by the (People Republic of Poland) Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa. They simply tell you the country does not exist anymore.eye roll

I seen tow individuals that showed up without proper paper work. They helped both of them even when some were difficult. I found the service to be really good. As long as you.follow instructions properly.

Bad service. No appointment for 5 months.what a joke. This is the best Poland can do for us polish citizens?

No one ever picks up the phone and if you do go in person the staff literally treats you like dirt.

Service worse than under the PRL. My wife (pensioner) was to certify her signature on the ZUS form. Before opening the gate, she read the list of service fees: the signature was to be certified free of charge.
The clerk who was rude charged $ 44 why? I want this money back. I warn others: this certificate can be obtained without any fees from many Canadian offices, and we have traveled over 100 km to be loyal Poles. For what?

Ta strona praktycznie nie dziala. Proby umowienia wizyty przez e-konsulat sa niemozliwe poniewaz caly czas wyskakuje komunikat ze wszystkie terminy sa zajete. Jest obietnica udostepnienia nowych terminow w poniedzialki po godzinie 20: 00, jednak okazuje sie to nieprawda. Probowalem zarowno po 20: 00 w poniedzialek jak i w nastepnych godzinach a rowniez wielokrotnie nastepnego dnia rano. Komunikat jest ten sam, - miejsc brak. Nie mozna sie tez dodzwonic do Konsulatu bo telefony nie sa odbierane lub wlacza sie nagranie ze teraz polaczenie nie moze byc zrealizowane.
Jednoczesnie na stronie Konsulatu jest napisane zeby nie przyjezdzac w zadnej sprawie, rowniez z wnioskiem paszportowym, bez umowionej wczesniej wyzyty bo nie zostanie sie wpuszczonym.
Pytam, jakie sa jeszcze inne mozliwosci aby zlozyc wniosek paszportowy?

The website does not work. You can not make an appointment on line as they require because all the spots are always taken. The site promise new available appointment on each Monday after 8 PM but it seems not true. New appointment are not available neither than or later or next day.
The webpage warns customer not to come without appointment as you won't be allowed in.
You can not make appointment by phone because they do not answer phone calls. I tried 15 times today with the same result. Phone rings for minutes and than disconnect.
I do not see how to renew my passport.
