Excellent service. The staff is very attentive and super friendly. The entire passport renewal procedure was very fast and efficient.

And they have supported me in the procedures, keeping everything in order.

I live two hours return from the Toronto Consolate.
I drove seven hours return to Leamington. Enough said.
The web site needs a serious overhaul. This is not the Toronto Consulates fault but the disastrous web site requires attention and replies from the Consolate.

My worst experience in Canada was held by the Mexican Government. They ask for no sense requirements to get essential documents, like birth certificates. It's true that they never answer the phones or reply on time

This is the worst place ever, even worse than doing things in Mexico, there’s three girls that run the show who are useless, they greet you with a fart face, plus they’re ugly. I’m pissed at them, they should be fired for the bad quality service they “offer”

My fiance, who is a Mexican citizen, was told they could not renew their id or passport at the Toronto location and would have to go to Ottawa. This was by two different agents on the phone in both english and spanish. The website did not make this clear either. $500 later at Ottawa she is told that she could have done this all in Toronto. Both agents wasted her time and money.

Fix your website and train the people on the phones better.

There is no one to pickup the phone. All there is basic auto switchboard repeating over and over the same.

Responded to all of my emails and calls in a timely manner.really appreciate them actually returning my calls!

I had some difficulties booking appointments to renew my passport and INE through the Mexitel system. I was able to get in contact with Citlalli Ríos and she was able to help me out with the process of booking my appointments.
It is important to note that the Mexitel portal is an organization entirely separate from the consulate. Once you have your appointments and you are in the consulate they are very accommodating and helpful as long as you have the proper documents required. If you do not have your proper documents you will have a hard time, which is fair. Do your homework before you show up and things will go smoother.

I have been trying for weeks to make an appointment at this location. Does anyone knows if I am able to fly to Mexico with expired passport and get it done over there? The system in this embassy is the worse. Good luck to all.

Do you need a passport urgently? This is not the right place, it seems that they use sophisticated methods of planning and printing (perhaps stone and chisel). No way to get an appointment in less than three months. Really Bad.

It seems impossible to get an appointment. There are never any available when I check! And when you call on the phone they just check the same mexitel website and tell you there are no appointments available. Is this a covid thing? I have been trying to get an appointment since June. (I dont try everyday, but I have tried many times).

EDIT! Changed from 1 star to 4. Once you get the appointment, everything works very well, very professional and on time. I received an email with a list of requirements for what I needed to do and everything went perfectly.everyone I interacted with was polite and professional. It turns out there IS a trick to getting an appointment. Appointments are released 3 weeks at a time in the evening of the last day of the previous batch of appointments. If you use the mexitel website at that time, you are likely to get one, but they do run out quickly.
