I had a positive experience here and was able to save some cash over the bank. Although the rate was better, I did notice there was a $2 service fee which was not mentioned but was evident on my receipt. Overall I still saved money over the bank (which could also charge a fee, not sure) but depending on quantity exchanged this could tip the scales in one direction or another compared to other options.

Rude and quick to dismiss. Refused to give me advice or any help. I don't feel comfortable going back there anytime soon.

I called in advance and was greeted by a friendly rep, who provided me the best rate, had cash on-hand, and quickly made the conversions to make it easy. They even offered to take my info and follow-up if I needed further options, AND reminded me to confirm my Debit Card purchase limits to prevent rejected transactions. When I arrived, everything was handled smoothly…thank you for the excellent customer service by both the reps!

I always get a better rate here than at the banks, the staff however looks at me as if I am there to grab their money. There is always this look of apprehension on most of the staff. They are already protected with a thick glass shield, you don't need to be afraid of anyone, no one is coming to grab your dollars. Moreso you are in secure shopping mall. You will need to make sure you re-count your cash before leaving the desk. Even though I accept anyone can make a mistake, I was once given less that i should have had, i complained and the lady gave me the remaining cash.what if I had not counted the money at the counter, there wouldn't have been any way to prove it

I didn’t find the service great. The women who served me wasn’t overly friendly and came across as though I was bothering her. My enveloped money was pretty much tossed to me from the small window opening.
I’ll never go back.

Buyer beware. Continental is competitive if buying or selling common currencies, i.e. USD or Pounds but shop around (your bank) before assuming they are the cheapest. Uncommon currencies must be ordered and will take at least 2 business days to arrive in store. I purchased 100 Singapore dollars on January 24 for a cost of $107.04 plus their $2.00 service fee, total of $109. Six days later on January 30 I returned to "sell" the entire 100 Singapore dollars. After their indicated service fee of $2.00 was deducted I received $79.90 CA. This is approx. $27.00 less than I paid 6 days earlier. When asked for the rationale the answer I received was "we make a good profit". I concluded the transaction believing I had few options. Twenty minutes later I had business at my branch of Scotiabank and inquired as to their "sell" rate for the 100 Singapore dollars. My bank would have bought my Singapore dollars for $101.00 CA, $21.00 more in my pocket than Continental Currency Exchange. My lesson has been learned.check your bank before assuming these folks offer the best buy and sell rates.

They matched and beat a local competitor. When we made a mistake they made it right. I will always go back there with the lowest local rate for a match or beat price

Can't get the currency I want. Told to use U. S.dollars. Got this information on the phone and the agent couldn't get rid of me fast enough. Not trying them again.

Wasted two days driving from out of town to get a simple exchange and they messed up both times. Called to Tell me my request has been made only to discovery nothing I said was done. I could explained my order in 6 words just to show them how easy it is to make my plans gel. Nope.one star is too much. Now I have to make two more trips to their store, first to prepay, second to pick up my order. It feels like the Twilight Zone, so totally useless.

A decent and convenient location for converting money. I submitted my order online to pick up in store. I was notified through email that the money was ready. I went to the store and was able to buy the currency through debit card and credit card (although credit card charges an additional 2%) It was easy and hassle free.

All currency conversions can be calculated online for ease.

My friend and i went to the currency exchange in Masonville mall in london Ontario. We had the best customer service i have had in years, the young ladies name was Bhavana.
She had an answer for all the questions we had.she took the time to explain her answer to us with full details. She knows her products and her job to the best of her ability. The experience we had would definitely make me recommend your establishment.

Really long waiting. I was selling currency and I was suprised that I need to pay transaction fee. I was always thinking that they make money on spreads buying cheaper selling with higher price. Moreover on the Continental Currency website they say that there are no additional fees when you selling, but it looks like is not true. I have mixed feelings about this place.

Great rates. Always better then my bank and they always have the currency in stock.

I absolutely love all the ladies at this branch; they've helped myself and my husband out numerous times and are always polite even when dealing with rude clients. This past weekend I was behind a gentleman in line who kept giving them a hard time about asking for information. Some people just don't understand protocol and realize they have a job to do! Keep up on smiling ladies - will be in soon for more Euros!

Horrible experience!
A teller by the name Arta was helping me, she was extremely rude and abrupt with my service, this was my first and last time using this company’s service. I don’t know who hired her or why, any questions I asked she was being short with me and giving attitude while I just needed advice for my travel and currency exchange as I don’t do this often. One of my friends had also told me something about a blue VIP card for a discount and when I requested one, Arta said they didn’t do that anymore probably because she was just too lazy to give me one while I saw another customer next to me holding it. And on top of that while she was getting the money for me she was having her own side conversations in her language, so presumably I thought she was talking about me which was really turned me off about the entire experience. Continental needs to work on better customer service before anything else.

My family has been using their services for years! They have the best rates and best customer service! I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

This place should train their employees on how to be nice with their customers. The women on the desk had some horrible attitude with customers.

I got a call from one of the staff saying that my currency, which they had ordered in for me, had arrived. This was a Friday. I said I wouldn't be able to make it in that day, but would make it in the next day or so. The women on the phone said that they would hold it for me, and if I hadn't picked it up by the Monday, they would call and remind me. On Sunday, when I went to pick it up, they told me that it was unavailable. I think they honestly sold it to another customer before I got there. They challenged me on the phone and tried to twist it around, making it seem like I was confused on where I had been shopping for currency exchange. Not impressed by the lack of organization and professionalism. Would not use again nor recommend to others.
