The service at Cookery is unmatched. Every time I have visited one of their locations the staff has really gone the extra mile to help me find exactly what I am looking for. Thanks Cookery!

Service is ok. Product quality is poor.
Very expensive. Every item is $5-10 more here than any other kitchen store I went to.
Asked if they do returns. Was told YES and when I tried to they would Only give me store credit. Every store makes up there own rules.
Also glasses broke while hand washing (horrible quality). Staff push / upsell products. (every product I asked about they showed me a more expensive version that 'they own')

I am sharing my experience with The Cookery Roncasvalles. I trust and like The Cookery. The staff are helpful and very honest. I bought an expensive Scanpan as a gift and the staff was very thorough and helpful in helping select this item. They know good quality cookware costs a lot but they are also budget conscious and don’t pressure you into buying something you don’t want or need and I appreciate that. When we came back to the store looking for a French press they were upfront about not necessarily needing to buy an expensive one versus a regular bodum. We will keep shopping at the cookery for years to come. Also if you want to talk shop, these people are cookware nerds in the best way!

The only place to buy anything and everything for your kitchen. Absolute best quality, they always give incredible advice. I always leave happy and inspired to cook:)

My favorite store. It is a cooking heaven rather than a store. The staff are extremely polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I have never walked out of that store feeling unsatisfied. It is a must visit store for all cooking enthusiasts.

What a wonderful cooking store! Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they've got a great selection of inventory for whatever cooking or baking needs you might have. So friendly- when I asked for a recommendation on where to buy an uncommon spice they lent me some! Great place!

One of my favourite stores on the Roncy strip. Incredible selection, great service and a wonderful neighbourhood feel. Highly recommend - buying in person or online. Ordered a Zoom cooking class as a gift for my niece for Christmas and can't wait for her to try it out.

We always try and support independent retailers. Not only was the service first class (even messaging well after business hours) the price for the Le Creuset roasting pan we wanted was as good as anywhere else on the web. Free shipping as well!

An incredibly pretty store with frankly bizarre and abrasive customer service. I wanted so much to avoid leaving the neighborhood and support local businesses, but I couldn't make it through a simple conversation with one of their staff. I was received with annoyance and impatience on the phone simply asking if something was in stock. Sorry to bother you? Eeek. Very strange.

Now, guys, I am not a cook. Not even a little. But, so many of my friends and family are. I love supporting a local small business, and every time I go into The Cookery, with no idea what I am doing, or what I am looking for, the staff have been helpful, friendly and provided great advice. I have always left with the perfect item for the person I am giving it to. Not only that, but Alison, the owner, is extremely active in the local community, giving back to all of us with her time and positive energy. The Cookery has become a go-to for local shoppers and for good reason!

I've enjoyed shopping here in store because it's so nicely organized and visually appealing, but I've really gotten into their online ordering option.

We've been able to get a few really lovely kitchen tools, dishes, and bakeware during covid-19 via local delivery and it's been really fantastic. Glad to have them in the neighbourhood!

They also have some really nice looking online classes!

I am so grateful to have Cookery in the neighborhood! Great selection of curated products, with everything you could need for a top notch kitchen (and lots of things I don't need.but still want!). However, what brings Cookery above and beyond is the customer service and the kindness of Alison, Mun and the other staff. During the COVID outbreak, I've taken a couple of virtual classes that I've really enjoyed, and had pieces I needed, like a fluted pie tart, hand delivered to my door. For the sourdough class, I attended the starter making class a week beforehand, but my sourdough starter didn't work out. Mun dropped off some of her own personal starter for me so that I could enjoy the class that evening.

Joined the on-line Sourdough Bread making class last week. It was well organized and easy to follow along with Alison. Lots of fun and the result was an excellent loaf of bread and a new skill. I was able to purchase the starter, and other items I needed to get started, on-line for curbside pick-up. They also deliver. Highly recommend trying one of the on-line classes and a visit to the store once the world returns to normal.

Every tool you’d need for cooking, or baking packed into this amazing shop. Alison and her staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. I attended a bread making class that was well worth the price of admission. This place is a gem in the heart of Roncesvalles.

Alison is a great teacher. Thanks to her patient, detailed and fun class we are enjoying home-made sourdough bread every day. And for years I have found the kitchen essentials I need at her store on Roncy. Best place for gift shopping too. Love the Cookery!

A fantastic shop with an extremely well curated selection of products. The owner, Alison, is very knowledgeable and super friendly.

We did our wedding registry here and they were not pushy at all and really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with all our items. Alison even went as far as calling KitchenAid to make sure that the extra glass bowl we were getting would be compatible with the stand mixer we registered for. When she found out it wasn't, she swapped our stand mixer for the right (and more expensive) one at no extra cost. The glass of bubbly while we were registering was a nice touch also!

We will definitely be coming back for all our future kitchen needs!

My mom and I went here (Roncy) for the Spring Handmade Pasta class for her birthday in May. It was so fun and very informative! The chef knew exactly what she was doing and we enjoyed the company of all involved. The food was AMAZING. I would absolutely come back here for another class, and am actually planning on booking another in the near future! Well worth the time and money:)

I would give it 0 stars if I could.long story short, terrible customer service. I was even quoted "buyer beware". Yes, I forgot when the cooking class took place, but that's because your website says the tickets for it would be delivered (which never happened). And not even a partial credit? ! Because apparently the "groceries" for the pasta making class cost over the $200 that I paid for the 2 tickets? Come on Alison. Flour doesn't cost that much.

My daughter and I attended the 'French Classics for Parents and Kids' cooking workshop with published chef Mardi Michels and absolutely loved it. The workshop took place in the shop itself, the group was small enough that we all got a turn to try out all the recipes, and Mardi was a great teacher. Highly recommend it.
