Cooksville Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram

Brought my truck to fix a starting issue. Took them a week to change spark plugs and carbon cleaning. Told me it was ready. I had to take time off work to come due to the short hours they open, only to find out the truck has the exact same issue. And I had to pay about $800 for nothing. Unbelievable.

Took my truck in for and issue with the exhaust system, with the belief that it would be covered under my extended warranty, as I was just out of the factory warranty. The extended warranty plan does not cover this repair. Mike Buchanan and the service manager stood behind their people and the product and offered excellent customer service resolving this miscommunication. The staff is courteous and very pleasant to deal with. This is the second vehicle that I have purchased from this dealership and will look to it for a 3rd when the time comes. I highly recommend.

SEP 2023- Excellent service with April and the rest of the team. Arrived for an oil change (no appt necessary) at 7: 45AM, and was out by 8: 30AM. April let me know some things that needed to be done with my car and advised
I didn't need my breaks done right now. Saved me money this visit, and advised what the cost of my next visit may be.

My experience in the past has been hit or miss, but today April restored my confidence.

They did some minor renovations, and it looks much cleaner. The free coffee/lattes in the waiting area, and charging cords, are a nice touch.

I do not recommend this place. I bought a new Ram car with extra warranty on rims and tires. After 5 months, the tires are suitable for the trash! Tires "waved". The steering wheel vibrates and shakes when driving on the highway. Tragedy. The manager informed me that the warranty does not cover this defect. I paid an extra $1900 for this extra guarantee! This is a myth. I feel cheated and will take the case to court. I do not recommend!

It was a great pleasure to bring in my Jeep Compass, Service Technician and Service Advisor were very thorough

So I had appointment for tires change to winter ones and oil change and after two hrs of wait time finally they took my car in n then was done after 3 hrs n on the way I noticed oil change percentage was still showing same like prior to oil change so either I was charged for it or they didn’t do it or they didn’t reset something! Very disappointed cuz I always go there for everything for my car and I don’t recommend hodge vehicles in general

I would like to point out in particular that our service rep Glen, whom we have known now for over 20 years as well, is trustworthy and the main reason we continue to have all our service done at this location. If I had any complaint at all it would be they allow him to go on vacation and is not available sometimes when we need him. Lol. Thank you for being our rep at Cooksville Glen. It was not satisfactory. The winshield washer fluid tank which was perfectly fine until the servicing, started leaking after I picked up the car from servicing. I called back immediately and it was denied anything happened during servicing. Now I have to make time again from my work schedule to take the car back to get it checked.

Did not fully resolve the issue I’d brought the vehicle in for. The advisor asked me to wait until the issue became worse for them to be able to fix it instead of having to check what I’d reported and try and resolve the problem. The car is still under warranty and this comment got me thinking if the reason for having to wait was to get me to pay for an issue with the vehicle that the company should be fixing.

This place is beyond unprofessional with the way they handle customers. Lazy, and to add that they don’t know what’s in their own cars

Have you ever walked into a dealership and felt overwhelmed by the sales staff? I know I’ve experienced that before. But not this time. Although I had a referral from a family member to talk to Umer from Cooksville Dodge, it sure didn’t feel like I was pressured into purchasing. If anything, I pressured them to get me what I wanted! And truthfully, the customer service, the full transparency in explaining the process, was hands down the best.

I loved my previous VW but it just wasn’t me anymore. So when I showed Umer what I wanted, he, Saki, and Sunny got everything together for me and by surprise, I got my jeep EXACTLY what I wanted, earlier than expected, and traded in my car for a great value.

Friendly quick service for an emergency tire repair. (Got towed there off the 427) Pricing is outrageous on truck tires but that's everywhere these days.

Great service, safe environment, knowledgeable staff. If you need assistance talk to Glen in service department. He is very experienced and knowledgeable, will listen you your concern and will offer advice that will make it easier for you to make a decision regarding your vehicle. I have been taking my vehicles to Cooksville Dodge for more than 30 years and I trust their judgment and pricing.

Maintenance customer services became worse, Diagnostic fees has been raised to $165+Taxes and is not waived if you choose to proceed with the repair. Talking to the maintenance manger is useless, will not do repairs or even oil change in that place!

Service is good the only problem I found is that I have an appointment, show up on time for a simple oil change and even though I see advertising on TV inside the waiting room that my oil change will be done in 39 minutes or less I end up sitting there for just over and hour and a half! According to that advertising that's 3 oil changes not one! That needs to be looked at! Other than that no complaints!

Today I picked up my Dodge Ram at Cooksville Dodge. I dropped it off this morning for it to be detailed and specified that I wanted it to be done as if it was going into their showroom for sale. The service coordinator said it would be done as requested. I must say that when I picked it up this afternoon I was beyond impressed with the quality of work. The person who did the work was Donny so I would like to thank him for how well he did the work. I will be back in the future and hopefully Donny will be the one that does the work. I am definitely one happy customer.

Just purchased a Grand Caravan from Steve Tokar. There were not many GT models left in Ontario and I stumbled across this dealership that had one of the colours I was looking for.

Made the entire purchase through email with Steve and he even drove it 4 hours personally to deliver it to me.

188$ to check an engine light. What a joke. 2 hours and my money wasted. At least staff was nice. Learned my lesson not coming back.

We bought our van there and had it serviced there ever since, I made an appointment for today 9 then I get a text saying it's 9: 30 then they tell me maybe I should come back 10: 30 11: 00 cuz there's four people ahead of me, now what was the point of making an appointment. I have also been receiving emails and calls saying they will avoid my warranty even though I'm having the maintenance done elsewhere.

Taylor and Stefan were great to deal with and walked me through all of my options and were kind enough to show me exactly what was going on regarding a severe suspension repair. Can't recommend enough for transparency and honesty.

I have stayed away from their Service ever since they swapped my Jeep's winter tires for summers and forgot to properly tighten the wheel nuts on the rear wheels. The left one nearly fell off on the highway and the nuts on the right one were loose to the hand. They were completely unresponsive and unapologetic even though I escalated to the service manager and then to the General Manager, Michael Buchanan. They did admit that they had had this problem a few times before and that as a result of my "incident" they changed their process to the standard used by many other shops to invite customers back for a "re-torque" after 100 kms (something I had not heard of before, but I now strongly recommend to everyone after a tire change.but not suggested by them on my change). They had the nerve to state that their change in procedure the day after I reported my incident had nothing to do with my situation and was merely a coincidence! There are other dealers and other shops around that provide more reliable service IMHO and I've never gone back to these folks. (As a side note to FCA (Chrysler Canada), my family has owned the Jeep and no fewer than six mini vans, so we've spent well over $350,000 on Chrysler products and services. One would think that might have counted for something, especially since I would have stayed as a loyal customer if I had received a half decent apology. When it's time to replace the Jeep, I think I'll be buying an F150).

I don't bring my Jeep in for regular service. Cooksville Dodge is too expensive. Recently I had a recall notice to replace the passenger side air bag so I booked an appointment to have the recall work done. I brought the car in and had the work done. The day after the service was done I noticed a buzzing sound coming from behind the glove compartment when I accelerated. I called Cooksville service to check what it could be. I thought that perhaps it was a loose nut or washer that was making the vibrating sound. I was told that there would be a $70 inspection fee if nothing could be found. I was sure that the new vibrating sound was a result of some error that the mechanic made on replacing the air bag. The mechanic checked the work that had been done previously but could not find anything wrong and the noise continued. I did some research for similar vibration noises and found that the glove compartment was not properly installed after the initial work was done and even after the mechanic had checked again the second time. So I brought it back. Another mechanic by the name of Mike checked it an installed the glove compartment correctly and the buzzing noise was gone. Thank you Mike. So apparently the first mechanic was incompetent and installed the glove compartment incorrectly not just once but twice. Now I paid $70 for this incompetent mechanic to incorrectly replace the glove compartment and felt that the money should be refunded since he incorrectly attached the glove compartment twice. I was promised by the service advisor, Kathy, that if the noise could be attributed to their faulty workmanship that the money would be refunded to me. However when discussing this with the service manager he refused to refund the money claiming that the noise problem had been fixed. I found the service manager unsympathetic to my cause and actually uncaring. This is not the first time that I have had problems with the service department at Cooksville. I have Gold Member Warranty status which I paid extra for when I purchased the car. After one year the window defogger was not working so they replaced it. That was good no charge to me as it was covered under warranty. A few months later the window defogger was not working again so I returned and was told that the work was covered under warranty for a year. I assumed that the repair would have been done at no cost to me. I assumed wrong. They went ahead and did the repair without informing and then said that the work was not covered under warranty. So I paid $75 to get my vehicle. Another time when the light in my console burned out I brought the car in and asked if the replacement of the light was covered under warranty. I was assured by the service advisor that it was covered so I left my vehicle to have the work done. When I went to pick up the vehicle I was surprised to find out that it was not covered under warranty and that I would have to pay $75. If the advisor had told me that it was not covered under warranty I could have fixed the burned out light by myself for $10. As you can read from my account, you cannot trust the service department at Cooksville Dodge Chrysler Jeep. I would not recommend their service department for anything. I will definitely not return to have any work done there anymore even for recall notices. In future I will bring my business elsewhere.

Took 3 hours to plug a tire. Then I had to miss a day of work because of how long it took to do this simple fix. No consideration for my time. Didn't even fill the tire after plugging it.

I strongly recommend avoiding Cooksville Dodge altogether. They could care less about you and your vehicle once they already have your money. I’ve been waiting a week for their finance department to return my calls. I’ve left messages with two different people, explaining my current situation and how important it is that I speak to someone. Still no return calls.

I purchased two Grand Cherokees here. The sales staff was great. I got the most competitive price already prior to my trade in credit for bringing my last Cherokee. I find what sets this Dealership apart is the service staff, that’s where you can really define a company by how they treat a customer upon problems arising. Their same front desk service staff have been there for the past 10 years I have been frequenting here, from minor maintenance to emergency repairs, they’ve been nothing but spectacular always. Big shoutout to Michelle, Kathy and Glen! Looking forward to purchasing my next vehicle again here in the near future.

I bought my Jeep wrangler with them last June until 10k kms everything was fine. Now, I have a life threatening issue in my car the front wheel wobbles and goes out of control mostly on highways at 95km/hr and above, I have told the service team to check on my second service but they don’t take it seriously and THEY WON’T LISTEN TO CUSTOMER PROBLEM COMPLETELY.
After some research, I got to know it is DEATH WOBBLE is caused by loose or damaged steering components, however, it can also be caused by incorrectly installing steering or suspension components. The first thing you should check is to make sure that nothing is bent or broken.
I NEED HELP WITH THIS.

I've had nothing but great experiences every time I've been to this dealership. We get both of our cars serviced here. A few times I even had to go in with my new baby and they were amazing at making both of us comfortable and getting our car looked at and fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Plus they informed us about a recall we had on our car that we weren't aware of. The woman at the service desk (Cathy) is great and is wonderful at her job. I have no problem recommending this place to anyone who has a dodge or a jeep.
