Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse - Niagara

It was a very good experience, the food was super delicious, the service of my waitress was excellent, I forgot to ask her name but it was today, January 11,2024, recommended 10/10

Such an amazing experience. Food was amazing and kept coming until I couldn’t eat anymore.

Food was amazing don't even have to order meats just start getting served and they were all delicious. Was so full had to stop. Lasagna side was great and fries and rice too. Drink server was a bit off and on but was a great place fir dinner flat $85 on weekends all you can eat.

Wow, just wow. Came here with my wife and my mother for a nice family dinner on a Wednesday night, which wasn't really busy at all, however we were all just appalled at the lack of service, especially with the automatic 18% gratuity added onto our bill.

We were seated quickly, and our server greeted us and explained the menu as we ordered waters and some sides as there is no longer a buffet style open bar. I assumed all would be good based on this initial interaction, but I was quite mistaken in this assumption.

Our server had left, and the first few meat guys served all of the tables around us, but not our table. We were finally offered some shrimp 15 minutes in, and then the service truly started. It was a steady assortment of their meats every 10 minutes or so for about 40 minutes. We got all of our sides, despite being small, but quite tasty.

Our server was MIA for our table however for those 40 minutes. When we finally saw her again, we managed to put in two drink orders, and 30 minutes later we got our drinks, and then our server didn't come back to our table until we were ready to leave.

About an hour in, we've sampled maybe 5 different meat and seafood items of their 15-20 different assorted items on their menu, but after this there were essentially no more new items being served, only the same few things we've all already tried. When asking for anything else, we were told it's cooking, or will be right out, and shocker, it wasn't right out lol. We continuously asked for the bacon wrapped fillet since the beginning of our meal, but it was never brought out despite being told numerous times it's cooking, or it'll be right out. Almost made me feel like a villain in asking if I could have anything other than top sirloin that continuously kept coming to our table.

The waiting times just sucked. At the end we were ready for the bill, and the manager came up to ask if we wanted to switch plates, we said we were done eating already, so no, but would like the bill. He said the server will be right over with the bill, as they went to let them know. After waiting another 15 minutes, I found our server near the bar area, and asked for our bill and said it would be brought to our table. 15 minutes later, the bill finally showed up but was brought by the manager instead.

Surprised there was an automatic 18% gratuity added, I asked if this could be changed, and the manager acted like I had rear ended him in the parking lot. Got the machine, tipped how I felt the service was, and then we finally left after waiting for almost an hour to just pay.

All in all, food was good if you liked only a few of their menu items, forget asking for anything you haven't seen in the first 40 minutes. Waiting times and service really sucked though, as because the gratuity is added automatically, no one seemed to really care. For the price, lack of service and having to fight for any little thing, definitely not the place to go for over 100 cad per person.

We had 5pm reservation, by the time we got to our table it was 5: 15.the time the first serving of meats came to us it was 5: 30. The tables you reserve only have a 2 hour limit after the reservation. We would sit and wait as the meat slicer’s would serve larger groups of tables and have to go back to the kitchen for more cooked food and they would still go to the larger groups of tables first. My wife and I felt like the service was only catered to larger groups and not couples or smaller groups at the far end of the dining area. For the price of 240$ for 2 people, I would say the experience is definitely not worth it.

For a while, the people going around with the meats overlooked our table. Other than that, good service.

Dear god when i say the service is slow thats being generous. Same food kept coming out and did i mention service was painfully slow. Went right when it opened on a monday it wasnt busy for the first hr but food still took forever, corn bread mustve been made from scratch from how long we waited. Only thing that came fast and promptly was the damn bill!

This is a tourist spot which leads to the extremely overpriced items. The food was nothing special and the drinks were the same. I would not recommend if you are visiting the falls

We always loved this location but hadn’t been since the new renovations.

Music was so loud that our group of 6 couldn’t hear each other clearly at the table.

Service was pretty terrible - waited almost 45 minutes for someone at our table to get a Coca Cola they had ordered (the rest of us had almost finished our drinks by the time it came) and we had to ask our server 3 times before we finally got it. We can understand that it was a busy Saturday night, but we also barely saw our server at our table (maybe 4 times in an hour and a half?).

Kept having the same few cuts of meat come around which tasted amazing, but had to request others that weren’t coming at all which I understand this is not due to the server, but worth mentioning this as well.

At the end, the server brought out our bills with errors on 3 out of 4 of them. One of the errors was that a drink which had not been consumed at our table was on one of the bills. When we mentioned there was errors, she didn’t bother to clarify with us what those errors were and promptly left to go “correct them”…well she came back a 2nd time and the bills were still incorrect. We now clarified what those errors were and she went back again to go correct the bills - came back a 3rd time with errors still including the drink that nobody had consumed. This time when we mentioned the errors, she became defensive and argued that we had in fact consumed the drink (which at this point for us was about the principal of why pay for something we didn’t even have?). She also asked if “we could just e-transfer each other the differences of the other errors so she didn’t have to keep going back and forth” in a very passive-aggressive tone, meanwhile the bill station was maybe 20 feet from us? Finally she came back a 4th time, still an error of course but it was only one of our beers being on another persons bill so we just figured at this point, we would e-transfer the cost of the beer to save another argument with the server.

I believe our visit could’ve been much more enjoyable had our service been better. This may have to do with them mandating an 18% gratuity into the bill as there doesn’t seem to be an incline to perform good service. The renovations have made the restaurant look beautiful inside and the seating and tables were also very comfortable we had thought.

Came here for the third time.haven’t been since they reopened. I was extremely disappointed, the service was super slow we waited about 25 mins for meat to start coming around by that time we were basically full from our sides, we asked for the meatballs never got the meatballs. When the meat finally came around it was completely rare. Our server was very sweet but unfortunately the service over all was not.
I won’t be coming back.

I recently made my first visit back since the pandemic and renovations. Unfortunately, I walked out knowing that visit would be my last.

After the 18% “gratuity fee” you are paying $100 per adult (and that’s without drinks).
At this price point, good service is the expectation but good service is not what I received. The waiters and servers were unpleasant and behaved as if they were employees at a fast food restaurant. I had a exceptionally bad experience with one of the meat servers (I didn’t catch his name but he a larger bald man). This server was incredibly rude to my table. He does not belong anywhere near customers.

Aside from the horrendous service, the food wasn’t great either. The open buffet has been removed and you now have to order side dishes to your table. The sides were flavourless and they don’t even have salt and pepper at each table. After requesting, we were given a pathetic little dish of each for our whole table to share. As for the main dishes, the portions have shrunk and they try to give you more chicken and seafood then they do beef. To leave the place on a full stomach, you have to stay for hours. But the negative environment of the restaurant make you want to leave after a short period of time.

Copacabana used to be the highlight of my trips to Niagara. But now, I’ll unfortunately have to go elsewhere when in the area.

Great atmosphere. Live band was very entertaining and Jovan the Gaucho was awesome. Took the time to explain everything and very personable. Would definitely recommend!

I was there with my family. The server, food was awful. Over priced never going back again.

First time going since the renovations. I was caught off guard with the fact that they took the salad bar away, however it didn't reduce our experience.

The food is great, the atmosphere can be loud but entertaining and the service was top notch. We wanted a specific meat so asked, and they delivered.

We eat at a lot of Brazilian steakhouses, but this one blew us away. The variety of meat options included a lot of unique and delicious offerings which included dry rubbed bbq flank steak and cheese stuffed prime rib. It was all fantastic!

Food is good but they watch how much you eat and give you tiny slivers and for the price (way Over priced) you should be able to get either bigger pieces or more of them without the managers looking over the servers shoulders.

Months later and I'm still day dreaming about the restaurant! Some of the best steak I've ever had. Hoping to go to the Toronto location sometime soon.

Had a 7 PM reservation, we arrived early at 6: 50. They said our table was being cleaned. At 7: 10 they decide to use our table to add to a table of 4 to make a 6. We then had to wait for 45 minutes for a new table of 2 to become available. This was our last night of our vacation in Niagara Falls and it was a Saturday night and we couldn’t make other reservations this late. We had to eat here. Do not recommend this restaurant if your a small party of 2 or 3 as they could care a less about you.

The music is good but very loud, I wore ear plugs but if I hadn't had those I would have left. The servers are a little disorganized and forgot or were a little slow when you ordered things but they did check in often enough. The meat and other entrees carved off of skewers were amazing! I especially loved the grilled pineapple.

It is pricey but what an experience! Food was great! The service was awesome! Loved the entertainment!

This was our second visit to Copacabana, but our first to the Niagara Falls location. We visited on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was mostly empty so we had no issues with meat coming around. The meat was all very delicious. The sides were okay. Dessert was also good. My biggest issue with this location is the parking situation. There is a parking lot directly connected to the restaurant, but when I pulled in, I was told this parking lot is for another venue only. I asked where the restaurant parking was and the gentleman said he didn't know but heard it might be behind Vinny's restaurant. We drove around the corner to Vinny's and tried parking there, only to be told by another attendant that this lot was reserved for hotel guests. He said we should park in the lot across the street. We drive across the street into a lot and the parking attendant says it's $20 for the night. There was no way I was paying $20 to park when I was about to spend a ton of money to eat. I called Copacabana and asked where to park - the lady who answered the phone gave horrible directions saying "turn right, then left, then left. " We drove where we think she said and only saw parking garages for hotels and the casino. I was SO frustrated. I drove back to Copacabana, pulled over, went inside and asked the bartender to show me on the map where this lot was. It was completely somewhere else. We drove there and it was a sketchy lot at the end of a long private driveway through a field. Had to walk quite a ways to get back to the restaurant. NOT impressed!

I had an exceptional dining experience at the Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse in Niagara Falls, and I wholeheartedly give it a 5-star rating!

The meats served at Copacabana were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and tenderness. Each bite was a delight for the taste buds, showcasing the true artistry of Brazilian cuisine. The variety of meats offered was impressive, ensuring there was something for everyone's taste.

In addition to the amazing meats, the accompanying sides at Copacabana were a fantastic addition to the meal. They complemented the flavors of the meats beautifully, creating a well-rounded and satisfying dining experience.

I must commend Mady, the exceptional server who attended to our table. Mady provided attentive and friendly service, making us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the entire meal. Her professionalism and knowledge added to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience.

For an outstanding Brazilian steakhouse experience in Niagara Falls, I highly recommend visiting Copacabana. The perfectly cooked meats, delicious sides, reasonable pricing, and excellent service from Mady make it a dining destination that is truly worth savoring.

This place is VERY over priced! $80 for adults and $40 for children. They need to be more reasonable with children prizes My 3 year old ate NO food (maybe a little bread) and I was still charged. My 6 year old ate 3 shrimps and bread. Also for a steakhouse the only thing that kept coming to our table was shrimp, chicken & salmon. We requested for steak atleast 8x! I hardly took any pics.

Such a disappointment!

Food was good, but we could barely get service for food. Out from 15 or so choices of meat, we were only offered about 7,8. The dinner was $530 for four people, but the food we were offered were well below 200.

It was the greatest moment at Niagara, on the patio, a band playing live, wonderful dishes, the staff was amazing, we recommend 100%, even with kids!

First time attempting this; wonderful experience with awesome people and great food. You can’t go wrong here at all. 1000%

Atmosphere very nice and modern, food service.a disappointment. After paying 80 per adult and 40 per child. I basically got full off the sides. The meat barely came, I had to basically call over the meat staff to serve me. Mind you, you can only get 5 sides at a time. They are pretty much single serving dishes. Our waiter was pretty much MIA. I felt I had to keep a watch out and wave my arms in the air to get her attention. Red sangria was weak not worth it. (Mind you I been to real Brazilian restaurant and its been far better) Desert cart.what a disaster. The cookies where undercooked, the brownie was nasty and tasted like cheap chocolate, the pie was dry, I didn't even bother with the truffles after that. Not worth the amount of money we paid plus they include the gratuity, yet give poor service. Only good thing I can stay was the cheese bread and cornbread was delicious, the band and dancer were very entertaining. I much rather take my money to Brasa Brazilian Restaurant down the street.

The food was really very good and the servers were all extremely friendly. There may have been something weird about where we were sitting because we had larger tables all around us - it was only 2 of us. So, we didn't get much attention from our servers or the gentlemen bringing around the meat. I had to ask several times for different types of meats that just never made it to us and the larger parties next to us were served much more promptly, though we had arrived before them. But overall, it was a nice experience, with a great view, atmosphere, and food.
