Copetown Woods Golf Club

It's an absolute pleasure every time, good tee lengths for all skill levels, course is one of the best maintained in the area. Food afterward on the patio is a must! Can't say enough good about it!

View and place is fantastic. Low rating because the food was very poor in taste. Had chicken wings.

Enjoyed our round at Copetown. Beautiful with the fall colours and fairways/greens in great shape. Pace of play was good 4hrs 10 mins walking. Staff is great (Joe was very helpful in pro shop) and always love the challenge of the course.

Everything from check in, staff, carts and dining this is a course you want to play. Private club feel at public price.
The greens have so much character, smooth and fast. Can't wait to go back.

Played copetown woods yesterday and it was fantastic course. The layout of the course is perfect. Unlike anything else in the area. Lots of sand features so bring a shovel ;)

Only thing that was frustrating. Was the app having to order food. As I’ve never played the course I had to download the app. I am a person that uses Apple Pay to purchase things on the golf course. Having the option to order on the app and pay for the food in the club house would be amazing.

My foursome all wanted a beer and food at the turn but didn’t get it because we wanted to keep the pace of play.

But beautiful course. Awesome views of the clubhouse.

Every meal here has been so good. Chicken sandwich is the best! Excellent fries. Signature broccoli salad. Really good deal. What they do, they do very well. Service always friendly and views from patio are so lovely and very peaceful.

Great golf course & conditions were 5 star. Had dinner afterwards in the Pub, food was delish, staff friendly & efficient.

A good track with rude and ignorant professional staff. Head pro is a dolt. Lectures you to rake traps but there are no rakes in the traps. Tells you not to let 3 Somes in carts to play thru. Rude and ignorant. Food is good but pro staff thinks they are at the National. It’s a public track in Hamilton. Get off your high horses.

Always lush great comination of long and short challenging golf, amazing lunch and dinner in the restaurant. Fresh ingredients and excellent menu options.

Good track and well maintained, staff were friendly and engaging upon arrival and the starter was great. Only issue I had was the number of cigarettes butts all over the tee blocks. Other then that it was a perfect day.

Played here with a friend of mine in early June and it has been my fav course in the Hamilton area since. You can’t beat the value. Amazing conditions, food has been consistently great and pace of play has been excellent each round as well - 6/8 rounds under 4 hours. Will be back often.

Course is nice itself. However, they need to have more cart girls if they expect customers not to bring their own adult beverages.

We had one of our own beers, the Marshall sees in our cart and tells us we have to finish these and asks us if we have anything else in our bags. We didn’t argue.

At the turn we are about to head hit. Some “official” comes out from the clubhouse and starts lecturing us. If the liquor inspector comes…. We could lose our license. We make money from this etc etc. Again, just listen to him rant at us.

Here’s the deal. No cart person in sight until 12: 15! And we each bought drinks from her. Hey, how about this for a novel concept. Have the cart people start at 9am. Crazy idea right? !? We also went to the clubhouse and had drinks and ordered food.

Great course, lousy service and felt like we were back at school. Can’t say if he back, will go to a course that serves at 9am. Thanks

Golf course in excellent shape, good challenging for all abilities. Food and beverages were very good. A must for all golfers

One of my favorite Ontario courses. Tees range from 6100+ yds to 6800+, so challenge even the longer scratch golfer.
Bang for buck, best in the province.
Staff are really good.
Course is always in good condition.
Food at the 19th is very good

Would have been a hands down straight 5+ if not for the Marshall. Course was immaculate, greens best I've seen this season anywhere, gorgeous day and a challenging fun track. The food and drinks on the patio were excellent. We tee'd off at 11: 20am and played through one slower group about the 6th hole. Marshall comes up to us at like the 12th hole and tells us we really need to pickup the pace after a couple of miss hit shots, at this point we were still at 2hrs 40 minutes since we tee'd off and 2/3rds finished. We were waiting at every hole for a foursome of Older Ladies in front of us and we didnt care. Bud follows us for like 2 plus holes telling us we need to play "ready" golf and pick up the pace. I asked him if he knew what time we tee'd off and that we were waiting every hole and he said he didnt know what time we tee'd off and didnt care. Absolute tool, can't argue with or fix stupid. Other than that, an absolute treat today.
Oh.and by the way we finished at 4 hrs 5 minutes and pace of play is 4 hrs 15 expected. 10 minutes sooner than expected, waiting for group in front and harassed for 3 holes.

First time playing. Well kept course. Staff were amazing all around. Will definitely make the trek back there from Dt Toronto.

I have been playing here for over 3 years now, and I do not have a single bad thing to say. The pricing is more than reasonable, and the food is better than most gourmet restaurants. Everything about this place is top notch, and Barry knows how to run an Instagram account. Keep up the great work

Been a couple of years but always one of my favorite and did not disappoint. Friendly service, very good conditions and good pace of play.

Beautiful course. Well maintained and fun. Carts have the digital screen and are fully loaded with ball cleaner, club cleaner and sand. Great staff and Ryan in the pro shop. Food is delicious here. If you're golfing or not golfing here, you have to get a meal!

Should you try Copetown Woods? Short answer, yeah, give it a try.

The course was in great shape - fairways, greens, bunkers etc. Felt significantly higherend than your average course

Course layout - this course has some beautiful holes to look at when standing on the tee block. My main issue is the course is def designed more for the 75-low 80s golfer, it is challenging and probably wont be fun for those who shoot 95+. Tight fairways, lots of hazards

Pace of play - we played as a twosome and took us 4hr 25min, the groups in front were very slow and was a lot of waiting.but.with that being said, the marshall did speak to them twice about it.no issues with the marshall (based on other reviews)

Food - after the round decided to have dinner as most reviews were raving about the food.service was great, but was good, not amazing or a must have and for 2 of us was around $70 (no booze)

Rate - played on a Monday after 12pm with a medium bucket of balls for the range pre round and paid $92. Price is reasonable as youre getting a nice course, nice carts, maintained course and a range.

Overall - id give a 7.5/10

Should you play Copetown? Yeah, give it a shot. Is this a return to play weekly? For me, but im a value golfer and enjoy the idea of a $40 twilight:)

Top notch experience from the moment you arrive. Friendly staff, great range and an excellent restaurant/bar. Wide fairways but we found out that the rough isn't so kind. Fantastic layout and greens.

It's an amazing golf course. Quite challenging because of the high winds! Greens are fast. Well maintained course with a wonderful clubhouse. The outdoor patio is a wonderful place to watch golfers go by, while sipping beer. Reasonably priced green fees. A walkable course.

My wife and I had a date night at Copetown Woods last evening. We played 9 holes on this lovely golf course but the topper was the incredible meal after. We sat on the patio overlooking the 2nd, 9th, and 18th hole at sunset. We had the signature broccoli salad and shared the potato boats. Then had the spring carbonara. It was fantastic. Service was great even with a wedding going on in the main dining room. You gotta give this place a try. Even if you're not a golfer, the meal is well worth it

Simply hands down one of my fav's! Course is always in great shape, food is delicious and the views are stunning. The best view is from the patio watching the shared green after the round with a cold beer!

It was an enchanting experience. We met as a group, sat on the golf course & had a wonderful outside meal all prepared. We were a group of 4 adults & 2 children.

Great course and POP was perfect hardly waited on any of the tee blocks. Very friendly staff too. I will definitely return to this one again.

Very nice course with GPS power carts that really are convenient. Greens were in good condition and the staff were friendly. I was invited to play by a friend so I'm not sure about the price but it is a very nice course with interesting holes. I will be sure to play here again soon.

Course was wonderful as always. Food service on the patio was horrible. Only 4 tables and we waited 50 minutes for our order, which was way below expectations. First bad experience. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Copetown is truly an exceptional golf experience. The staff at all levels are a pleasure to deal with. The course layout and meticulous care of the holes make it easy to return. It’s always a fun round.

Went for lunch and the clubhouse was great.

The new patio is beautiful and spacious overlooking the greens.

Staff was kind and accommodating for vegan and gluten free dining.

Well priced and plenty of space to keep your distance.
