Coppa's Fresh Market

The products in this grocery store are extremely pricey. I suggest lowering the prices as it explains why there are almost no one in this store. Found out that I bought a few basic everyday foods and realized Food Basics has the same product but $8 cheaper.
I know I know, its just $8 really but in groceries, that is insane. There are not a lot of interesting products to find here but oh well!

As a local king city resident there aren’t many places right in king to grab meats. Given Coppas is down the street I decided to give the meat department a try as I was pressed for time. I purchased some ribs, couple pieces of lamb and 2 types of sausage. As an Italian on Sunday’s we use this meat for the sauce …. After 4 hrs of boiling the meat in the sauce the rotted taste from the sausage still came through. I will never ever buy any kind of meat from there again. Not only did they ruin Sunday's lunch but we ended up ordering pizza

Very expensive. Same brand packaged product always more expensive than other grocery stores. 7 min drive to Yong street there is a no frils and food basic with much more reasonable price. I rather drive a bit and save on my grocery bill hundreds of dollars. Store is clean and almost always empty of customers!

Great place to shop, prices are a little expensive but the products are always very fresh worth the little extra money.

It's neat and organized, but not too much of a variety, I've gone here a couple of times and wasn't able to find what I was looking for. Price is also on the higher side

I know king city has wealthy residents but to pay these prices is beyond crazy. Meats and dairy products are around double. I guess they have no interest in catering to the middle class

The pizza that they sell here is to die for! OMG! Its one of the best pizzas i've had, and it wasn't too expensive either. The sandwiches that they sell here is packed with meat for only 4and half bucks! I will be studying at Seneca 's king campus in the September I will be coming here for supper everyday!

Produce is fresh, but everything is spaced out to look full, but not a lot of different options

Love Coppa's for their great selection! Fresh, refrigerated or frozen. You'll find it at Coppa's.

Decent grocery store, their selection has been greatly reduced in the last year so it's not as good as it used to be.

Nice location. Clean and spacious. Also nicely overpriced to reduce the occurrence of riff-raff in the store. Keeps the place nice and empty. Easy to move through the isles when customers are few and far between. No shoving at the deli counter, if you know what I mean. Bring a thick wallet, you'll need it.

Shelves are empty, products are expired on shelves. I think management should look into it ASAP.

Well laid out. Definitely premium food on the take out, the meal had real quality. I had the beef stew and it was worth it. The veggies fresh and the beef all good cuts. Inside the store the prices reflect the quality. You will pay more but this is reflected in quality produce. You get what you pay for. Still if you an eagle eye you can find good deals. Deli, bakery, meat counters seem to go on forever. Friendly staff who reflect professionalism. The pictures speak for themselves. Huge variety. Easy to find things.

For the price they charge, you would expect better quality, especially in the produce department. They're clearly taking advantage of the fact that they're the only large grocer in town. I bought some tomatoes, which started to get mushy after a day, and a bag of heirloom oranges, some of which already went bad. I also bought some fresh orange juice and it was clear that there was at least one bad orange in the mix.

Ordered the fresh pizza they make in the store. Blew my mind, the best pizza I had ever. Strange how pizzerias can't make good pizzas and a grocery store can. Bravo!

Great place if you want to shop and take some shots all in one place. Definitely recommend for lunch/dinner

Coppa's raises the standard for grocery store options around King.

The bakery department is huge. So is the meat department. They take noticeable care in beautifully laying out the fruits and vegetables.

When it's permitted, there are attractive pleasant places to have lunch or coffee. High school students like to grab a decent lunch here too. The gelato counter in the summer is a favourite with my kids. It's a destination, not just a grocery store.

I'd like to give it 5 stars but right now the staff is a little too lax about covid protocols, specifically mask wearing. I visit Coppa's less these days for that reason. When Covid is done though, I'll be a regular again.

Great place to shop. Clean and a good variety. Love the pastries and fruit section. Checkout is usually quick and their own late on Saturday.

Love the great selection of gluten free options. Fruits and veggies are always fresh. Beautiful and clean environment with many gourmet items available.

Carts are not sanitized after use. Customers put them back into where they got them. Not sure about the baskets. Also the prices are too expensive. No Frills has way better prices for the same products.

I stopped shopping here for a while then decided to give it one more shot - and I immediately remembered why I stopped. The non-produce items are so limited and I couldn't find anything I needed (and it's expensive!). Also, the cashiers are so incredibly rude. I said hello and she blatantly ignored me and shoved the bags at me without one word the whole time. This store is too pretentious for me and I will never go back, and you shouldn't either.

I ordered party trays for a group home in the area. Pick up was smooth, the trays were beautiful and a good bang for my buck. In addition I was stupid enough to leave my wallet on a cart. When I returned to the store it was at customer service. Well done Coppa's. First class service and good food.

I love Coppa’s, they have great selection of produce which is always fresh, I also love the pastries a really good place for the people of sweet tooth like me, also they have European selections if interested!

POOR SOCIAL DISTANCING! Protect yourself by avoiding this grocery store. I went there today and it is business as usual there. I spoke to the manager and she told me that she can not do anything about it. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated.

This is the very best of the best for veggies, meats and any other thing you can think of that you would need from your grocery store. It's clean; everything in this supermarket is outstanding quality. Nonna's restaurant serves astounding food every day. If you ever find yourself in King City, stop here for a snack or a meal. Wine and beer can be served with your meal.

The attitude problem from the staff is a reflection of the managers treating their employees like garbage.

I like the fact that I can pretty much purchase all my groceries and alcohol at one time.
There's fresh produce, a variety of cheese, meat, fruit vegetables and sweets. There's also a place where you could sit down, have a coffee or eat a meal.

The store was very nice.well priced in today's super highly priced grocery stores. Also well organized and clean, they have everything you could possibly want. I would definitely come back.

Really love this market. Always quiet, clean and reasonably friendly staff. I really enjoy walking with my baby while doing groceries here once a week.

Despite this store being close to home, and with the exception of some wonderful employees like Mary in the Floral department and Irene in customer service, the quality of products - including freshness and lapsed best before dates - I have stopped making purchases here. I drive to Woodbridge to grocery shop. There is no pride in the part of the majority of the employees and this might reflect management’s attitude and perhaps even ownership. After living in Woodbridge for 27 years and shopping at Longos - an organization that provides superior service and products - the promise of a large supermarket in King was a welcome addition to the community. However, after 2 years in the neighbourhood, Coppas has failed to provide the kind of quality and service to which I have become accustomed. We need a Longos in King City.

Horrible meat and produce, only good for deli, dry food and bakery (cakes). Restaurant is pretty good.

I like the store but the prices went up by much in 2019 and I stopped buying there that often. The prepared food section I still go to, though. Good food, good price, elegant atmosphere and good service. One of the only places to eat at in that area that I consider fast and good. Mostly Italian food, obviously. Selection of groceries includes international items as well. And like I said - good service.

Started off ok, but now that they've been open for a while you have to watch expiry dates very carefully. Mayonaise, gnochi and cold cuts are commonly past.where is the board of health, it's getting dangerous.

Nice store, a little pricey but the selection is good. The bakery here is really good. Service is excellent.

On the lookout for a decent deli option, The Starsky's in Aurora closed. Coppa seemed the closest option.

Horrible customer service, if you're lucky to find a soul to help you. Came in on a weekday at 6pm when its rush hour and busy at most stores. At Coppa's however, there was no one to help in the bakery or deli sections and only 2 of 12 registers were open. Line ups to pay were at least half hour long! Spoke to manager to see if another register could be opened but instead was greeted by abnoxiousness and no desire to help. Clearly management does not care about customers so will not be back here again.

The worst company to work for in toronto. Management sucks big time. They continually mistreat employees for their own profit. Machevellian tecniques

First time shopping at this location. Absolute horrible customer service. Norman the store manager would not Honor the price of an item I picked up off the self. The product and multiple others were there but he would not Honor the price. The company should employee better managers who actually have experience in customer service! Will not be returning to the store again. Adding to this review. Someone from head office had contacted me apologizing to me for their horrible staff. They offered to provide me a gift card about a month ago. Still have not received the gift card. Absolutely horrible customer service all around the company. They will probably be the next ones to be closing down.

Nice Gigantic deli section. But they use a completely Obnoxious amount of separation paper and plastic when you get fresh cut items

This grocery store only exist to make all the snobs who live at King and Duffrin feel the price of their house is justified

Was at the deli counter and they gave me more paper than cold cuts. So I paid for paper basically. I can go to staples if I wanted paper. Also the deli staff made it feel like they were doing a massive favour for you, going way out of their way to slice you some meat.

You’d think it would be good, given the affluent location and Italian sounding name and “fresh market”.

Dont eat at the eatery, 3 other people cane after me and got served before i say something and then ask me what i want. Ordered veal sandwich. Asked for chili flakes and they didnt have it. Sauce is very sweet and sour at the same time, veal itelf is very chewy. Not worth it at all.

We were so excited that King City FINALLY had a proper place to go grocery shopping. I have no issue with the prices or the facility itself. However you have a HUGE problem with the staffing at the Deli counter. It is ALWAYS understaffed - and when you eventually get served it is like they are doing a favour for showing up. I simply don't get it - the deli essentially spans almost 2/3 the depth of the store (with a wonderful selection of products) but it is near to impossible to buy anything. I am not alone with this observation - standing a waiting be served you hear people expressing the same thing over and over again.

Cashiers are always not aggressive to help. May be most of them are part-time. They are not friendly welcome you to go their counter for help even the line is free.

Excellent service, dilligence & personality from (Melinda) young girl at Nonna's restaurant area. She really went out of her way for me on several occasions & is very helpful.

Businesses need more staff like this.

Really nice and new. Has a high end feel and is properly staffed. Not cheap but a much better experience than you will get at a standard supermarket
