Cora Breakfast and Lunch

The food is great, portions could be a tad bigger. Never had a problem with the service. The AC could be turned down a bit, its always freezing in there lol

Cora is a really great restaurant. They have a kid friendly environment and delicious food. Anyone is welcome and everyone there is super friendly. My only complaint was service was a little slow. Overall I give a five star rating.

Yummy, good prices, very filling! Server was kind, only feedback is he could have been a bit more attentive with filling drinks/checking in.overall very good, can't wait to come back for brunch again!

Came here for breakfast before my husband's Chemotherapy apt. The menu had so many breakfast options to choose from and the food was so yummy. Would come here again.

Nothing spectacular - was okay but unlikely to return. Empty but slow, "just the waffle, with fruit on the side" for the kid came loaded with custard n cream. Just weren't impressed.

Wonderful server, good food. I had the cold crepe with fruit. Huge portion with loads of fruit.

Cora's is a very popular place. The food is delicious and plentiful. They have many menu options that include fresh fruit. The prices are reasonable for the food they are serving. I meet friends for breakfast or lunch on a monthly basis. Be sure to get there early on a Saturday or Sunday or you will be standing in line for a table. By 9: 15/9: 30 there is almost always a line-up to get in.

Always delicious food at coras, the potatoes leave a little to be desired but it's more then okay for the price, staff are really friendly and very fast, they almost never leave your coffee cup empty even when it's busy. As an avid food eater, their bacon is crispy and their eggs, runny (just how I like em)

Food wasn't great, service wasn't great. Not awful but wouldn't bother going again.

I hadn't been to Cora's in a while, but I had an great time. Our waitress Amber did an amazing job, she was super friendly and kept checking if we needed anything, even though it was a busy day. Thank you so much Amber!

Overall breakfast was good. I had the traditional breakfast and the only thing I was disappointed with was the bacon as it was the thin style.

We went out for Sunday morning breakfast with my family. The wait to get seated was only a couple of minutes. Amber was our waitress and she was absolutely fantastic, she went above and beyond. She was attentive and quick to get whatever we needed. Our toddler was over tired and not wanting to sit. Amber was so lovely and got our coffee to go. Great experience!

I came yesterday at 10 am for breakfast with a group of 50+ teenagers. As you can imagine it was very chaotic group! The staff was patient and super friendly with all of us and the food was delicious. The iced coffee was amazing too! One particular staff member really stood out to me because of the quality of service she provided. Our table had eight people at it and she remained calm, composed and patient the entire time even when we kept switching what we wanted to drink! Our food was taking a while which is understandable because of our large group but she came and checked on us many times to make sure we were okay and being taken care of. I unfortunately didn't catch her name but she definitely deserves some serious recognition! If it is any help, we were sitting at a booth near the kitchen around 10: 35 am - 11: 45 am.

We went to Cora’s in Waterloo for breakfast, the menu choices are excellent, the food was fantastic and the service was great. It’s a bit on the higher end price wise for breakfast but it’s worth it.

I can say for sure their fruits are some of the freshest in the entire city. French Toast is amazing. But rest of the food (omelette, coffee, bread etc) wasn’t as good as Pur and Simple, which is right across the street.

Love that you can only order 1 egg benny! Very tasty, home fries were fab and the fruit was fresh and delicious! Good service too.

The best breakfast place ever, the pictures in the menu reflect exactly what you will receive witch is awesome.

My server was excellent, although she was swamped and running around like crazy and the people helping her weren't that great.

Food was great as always. Server was very pleasant. Our only criticism is that they did not have any sugar free syrup options.

I visit this location roughly once a month and I'm never disappointed. The food looks just like it does on the menu/website when they serve it, and it tastes even better than that.

Definitely more pricey than making the same breakfast food at home, however on par with other breakfast restaurants, and it's also made up for in the convenience, service & quality.

Food is good just like usual but I’d like to comment on the customer service. I find that too often these large chain restaurants forget the importance of making an impression on their guests. Starting with putting out utensils, not having missing pages in menus or filling up water when it gets low.

In fact this culture of tipping that has grown is a culture that regardless of how good or how bad the service is you must tip. I am tipping for going above and beyond; not for doing below average.

Obviously I will still tip the minimum (and I think everyone should to) but that doesn’t mean I don’t think these people should not work for it.

All in all, interesting experience from Cora, lights felt a little too dim, but people are quite nice

2021: went to Cora’s for old times sake and never again. The food was simultaneously burned and raw, I had to ask the server twice to bring me clean cutlery and cup, the egg was raw (not well done) and I had terrible cramps afterwards.

2015: This is my favourite place for breakfast in town, my friend and I have a little tradition where we have brunch here at least once a month. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are generous for the price. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this location and the blueberry pancakes are amazing

Sin e the change in management a few years back, this restaurant has become a favorite breakfast spot. Fresh fruit and crepes, friendly staff - amazing.

Food was great, haven't been to a Cora restaurant in a while so it was a good change from regular breakfast spots. A little long with the food but overall it was a good experience

Take out here is actually a joke. Ordered through Uber eats specifically asking for utensils, ketchup, and syrup, only to realize they didn't put any of that in the bag. Food wasn't cheap and i'm incredibly disappointed.

Had a great meal. The waitress was very efficient and polite. Enjoyed the kale and mango smoothie. The wait time for the meal was really short. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing, service was good, waited 30+ mins for our order, and waited less time to get a table (approx 15 mins) I don't suggest going at 1pm

It has been years since I've had Coras so I decided to give it a try. Walked in, our server told me to not worry about showing my vaccine passport, so I have no idea if the people around me are vaccinated. He then spends the first forty minutes not wearing a mask on his face. Until presumably his boss showed up and made him put one on. The food tasted fine, but it was only warm. Not worth forties dollars on breakfast that's for sure.

The only remaining location in the Waterloo region (I think) since the one in Kitchener closed down. Eggs Benedict are a favourite.

Ordered delivery and missing half my order. Called the restaurant and no answer. Also no condiments or cutlery.

Amazing customer service. I had ordered for pickup and they accidently gave us the wrong item, the manager himself drove across the whole town to deliver the correct item; which was greatly appreciated. Kudos

Worth of a long waiting for this egg Benedict dish. We ordered three blueberries pancakes on the side too. All yummy. The restaurant was very busy and under staff, but we do not mind waiting.

Being a restaurant owner, I have to say the service was great by our waitress. Unfortunately the kitchen does not have any standards at all. Order the Cora Breakfast. Meal came and the home fries was burned. I like my home fires crispy, not burned. In my restaurant, the would not let it go, but it did. Them all the Manager will do is offer me a take out meal. Not looking for a free meal at all here, as I know how restaurants are struggling too. But in my restaurant, I would have offer a free meal. I really understand we as restaurant owners are struggling to get all our customers back, but this is not the way to do it. I will never suggest to not eat there, but I hope this review gets to the right person.

We went to cora 3 times. We were not satisfied at all.tables were dirty. We changed 3 tables, 3 of them were dirty.we cleaned the last table ourselves. Also the service was unbelievably slow.their food was good but we will never go again!

The management of this restaurant is great. The owner as well as managers take good care of both the establishment and their customers.

Had the french toast could had more favor. Husband had two eggs with toast served wrong bread and added potatoes which he didn't want.

Good food - we were a family of 8 at noon today and had excellent service by a very experienced server who remembers all the orders. I was very impressed.
Cora is fortunate to have such an employee.

Amazing food and service
Come to this location quite often and never had any problems. Food is always hot and fresh same as the coffee. Staff are very friendly and we'll rounded. If you want a excellent breakfast and need to start your morning off right I suggest give Cora's Waterloo a try.

Great food very clean and didn’t have to wait too long. Robyn was my waitress and let me say she is absolutely lovely and deserves a raise or promotion, I was treated with respect, kindness, and she always asked if everything was okay with my meal and came to check up on me. Will be returning!

I came here a few days ago with my boyfriend! The prices were good and the food was yummy. I’m not a big breakfast fan, but my boyfriend is so he was an even bigger fan than me, lol. It was filling and the waitress was friendly! Maybe it was just the day, but it seemed to be a little understaffed for the servers; the service did take a little longer than desired and they seemed to be running around a lot! Definitely not the workers’ fault, though. Worth checking out!

Showed up right at 1 and they wouldn’t seat us because they close at 2. So they close at 2 but apparently you have to show up at 12? 12: 30? No wonder this chain is going under

They got virtually everything wrong with our order, wasted about an hour of our time and in the end we were told they can't refund us because manager is not in store, and we need to come back later if we want it. About the worst customer service I've seen

My wife and I had our first dine in meal in over a year today. Cora is as delicious, safe, clean, comfortable and friendly as ever. Kudos.

This place is one of the worst place I’ve have ever been to have breakfast. Staffs do not care about people sitting inside the cafe and only worried about takeout orders. I sat there for 1 hour without getting my order. Never recommended. We were there at 8: 48, we ordered at 8: 55, and the order came at 9: 50.

Best breakfast place in kithener! I just love this place and the vibe. I try different dishes Everytime I go. The food and service is so satisfactory, I eat way too much then I go home and have good nap. And the Banana strawberry shake is delicious best way to end your breakfast. You should definitely take your loved once or go alone and start your day with mouth watering food.

The server was really nice and friendly but the food was not as fresh or great as it should have been, was given punctured jam, strawberries were old and all for a pretty decent sized bill.

Healthy alternatives to the traditional bacon, eggs and hashbrowns breakfast. Weekends can be very busy, up to 20 min waiting to get a table.

Breakfast at its best. Although you may be thinking this place is expensive, their meals are large and have a lot of fruit. Sharing a plate is always an option too. Their service was fast and courteous. Also they often have deals if you download the app!

Very first time coming to this Cora and had nothing but a great experience from start to finish. Was greeted right away from a gentleman called Clement who sat my mother and I immediately. Our waitress Mikayla was fantastic. Overall customer service was great and food was even better!

Man the food here is great. Had the Jo Construction and always leave feeling full. The staff remember you and most of them are really good at what they do.

Amazing breakfasts. The line is usually long closer to noon, but it's worth the wait and moves quickly.

I love this place! We were welcomed warmly and the food was delicious. I got the Western omelet (super tasty). Our waiter, Joel made our visit extra special by being super attentive and he remembered us even though it's been a year since we've been here. This place is great for large or small groups too.

Fine place to eat. Large portions and usually lots of fruit. Sunday mornings there is usually a line but it does not take too long. While you are in line try a piece if their free fudge. Entrance is inside waterloo town square.

The food is yummy, the staff is friendly, even far too early in the morning. It isn't the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Perfect place to start your day with mouth watering breakfast. Made with love and care, amazing customer service and best part is they doesn't make you wait.
My personal favorite is Paul wants it all!
