Coriander Kitchen To Go

The food was amazing. We had the dinner menu for two people, devoured everything. Samosas and naan were absolute favorites, crispy and fresh. All the meat was tender and well flavored. I’m usually not a fan of Indian cuisine but this place was something else.

I place an order of paneer Tikka for take out.
I don’t know how I can explain my experience with that. That was like beyond my expectations. I was there Before the pick up time of my order and I saw the chef who was making Paneer Tikka in Tandoor like everything he make was completely fresh. I just love that. And days before I place an order for Butter Chicken which was too good everything was perfect in that like the spicy level little bit sweet yummm. I just love their food and their efforts which they do just to make their customer happy and satisfied.

Huge quantity, quality and taste was extremely perfect. Chicken cooking perfectly at middle portion. Order before 30 mins because freshly prepared after order it will take waiting time.

The food is so delicious and the owner is so friendly! My first experience is perfect and I will come everytime whenever I will visit Blue Mountain

Worst experience.everything about food was bad, worst Indian food i have ever and the quantity was nothing now even enough for two.
Suggestions to everyone not to visit its waste of time money and taste.

Could have been better. The chicken gravy preparation seemed incomplete, the gravy was not cooked properly. Tandoori roti was fine.
It is understandable that Collingwood is a tourist spot and the prices are inflated, but for this place, the food taste was not worth the money.

Not a good experience! We ordered 3 chicken biryanis instructed to keep it spicy- but it didn’t had any taste at all, the chicken pieces seemed just boiled. We couldn’t even open the other 2 biryanis after tasting one as it was terrible!
The dal tadka & jeera rice were good. Tandoori chicken leg was also okay!
Also, order since evening 6.15pm for take away order at 8.15pm even then had to wait for another half hour for the order!

Worst food. Butter chicken tastes very sweet and lamb rogan gosh tastes very sour. Very bad experience.

Great food & amazing dedicated staff that strive to create the best dishes for their customers! I have been coming to this gem for 5 years now & have never been disappointed! So many delicous & tasty meals & made to perfection every time! This walk-in restaurant deserves to be upgraded to a larger dining space!

The food was great as usual but they really need to clean the place up starting with the kitchen walls, the floors and the windows.

Not a great experience here. We ordered take out and were told it would take about an hour, it was Friday night so no big deal. About an hour and a half later we called and were told it would be another half hour because they didn’t know where the driver is…ok. My husband went to pick up the food. They were out of samosas or something so they gave us a deep fried cauliflower appetizer instead which was ok. The naan was great but the butter chicken and rice were both really bad. The sauce for the butter chicken was cloyingly sweet like it had sugar dumped in it and the rice had whole cloves mixed in it…it just didn’t go together. Maybe we’ll give something else a try next time but this wasn’t a great meal.

Food is great - delicious. As as Indian I can say the food is up to par. No seating here, just take out. I advise taking the food to a nearby park with some picnic gear and enjoying it there.

Overall bad experience. They took soooooo long to prepare your foood.moreover quantity of food is very low for the price of food.not recommend

Almost didn't order food from here after reading the reviews, but I'm glad we did. We were looking for halal desi food in collingwood and this was the only place. We got shrimp biryani, Chilli chicken and chicken Tikka from here. Everything is made to order, so you have to order 30 mins ahead. The Chilli chicken was AMAZING! Chicken Tikka was good too. The shrimp biryani was a bit different from how I'd like it but it didnt taste bad.
I don't know why people are saying the staff is rude, My husband went to pick up food and had a pleasant experience. My husband forgot to order Raita but the guy made it right then for him and didn't even charge for it. I guess customers should show restaurant workers some respect before expecting it ‍️

Ordered set for two.amazing food! Only thing is I don't eat rice but couldn't ask a roti in place of that.it was very very worth it tho!

Decided to try this place with a friend. What a waste of money. They got the order wrong to begin with, and the food tasted horrible, didnt even finish it i threw it out. Won't be going back.

Worst Indian food I have had in a while. Paneer Currys were below par, and Paneer's texture and taste was weird. Tandoori Rotis were so hard we had to throw most of them away. The staff person at the counter was rude. I am highly suspicious of the five star reviews they have received. Stay away from this place.

I am very picky with butter chicken and this place is a must try.it is not too spicy and has a sweet flavor

Mohammed is one of the best chef's have tried in North America. I mean it as am a big indian food lover. Best take out place in Ontario as its prepared fresh and its prepared with passion.definitely recommend if you are in the area and need quality food to go.

Absolutely awful awful ownership, hot headed no respect, doesn’t even qualify to own a Resturant let alone provide any service, no manners at all, I don’t even want to give any stars

Went for the first time and just tried the butter chicken with naan bread. Absolutely delicious! Portion was fair and the staff were friendly and pretty quick. Thank you guys, I’ll definitely be back for more:)

First time visited from toronto and was looking for indian restaurant and found coriander's kitchen, only Indian restaurant in Collingwood. I bought chilli chicken, daal tarka, Butter chicken, baingain bhartha, chicken madras and naan. First of all of the dishes were excellent and on top of that not oily at all. Had to wait 30 mins because everything is fresh not ready made like other restaurants, you can see them cooking, so it is worth waiting for the food, and the naan is so soft and crispy damn it was so good. The stuff are so good and the owner makes you feel overwhelmed. The most surprising thing is they are all Bangladeshi but they are food is better than the other Indian restaurants I have visited. It gives you a nostalgic feeling take the first bite. I m only gonna order from them until my stay. Thank you guys for this wonderful dinner.

One of the best restaurants I have visited till date. Stayed at Collingwood during our trip to blue mountain, the only place serving authentic Indian food. The veg and non-veg options equally good. The staff and the owner himself so friendly. Highly recommended.

We were in the Blue mountain village and ordered some 7 veg Biryanis along with Paneer butter masala with Naan. I am giving 1 star as can not go below that.

Veg Biryani: I think these guys do not know what Biryani is. They need to know Biryani first. What we got was literally daal khichadi with some veg in it.

Naan: literally a peice of Rubber. Our kids could not even finish couple of bites and were complaining about jaw pain.

I do not think I would order food anytime from here and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone either.

The food was delicious, the owner is very friendly. For sure I will order take out from this place again.

We visit here regularly and it is our go to for Indian cuisine in Collingwood. Keep up the great work!

I want to give negative star but we don’t have option to do that.so I am giving 1 star.we ordered food around 8.15pm and they said it will be ready by 9pm.we paid and we left thinking will come back 9.but the food was not ready until 9.30pm.when they took order they said that there is rice but when we came back there was no rice and still they made us to wait for more than hour.they offered roti even though we said that we don’t need roti, instead give us the refund, they started arguing with us.the employees here are having a bad attitude.we simply had to waste our more than an hour just for food… totally waste of time and money…

Please do go there guys, they gonna cut ur throats, so expensive. I ordered roties and butter chicken. A meal nothing else and 55$. Never ever will go there and will tell my 20 more friends about tht for sure. I never left review but here must need to leave one. Not satisfied at all. Feels bad! U guys lost one customer but who cares right!

First time visiting this estsblishment. Very impressed with the lamb biryani. Perfect spice.

We went to this restraunt on Canada day 2022. Food was SO BAD that we had toTHROW the food away. The person on the counter says we make fresh food, but thats not true. Dal Tadka and Shahi paneer was SMELLING BAD. Roti was BURNT, No ONE CAN EAT THIS KIND OF FOOD. Better go for MEXICAN FOOD.

It was not good at all. The appetizer platter didn't have samosa which is fine but look at the platter it was all for 11 $ overcooked pakoras of paneer and others. Its just gramflour and spices with no taste in them.
Biryani was still okay, i asked for making it spicy to which they just added very much black pepper which doesn't makes it worth eating at all. They should know where to use black pepper and where to use red or green chilies.

We ordered Chicken Tikka masala (spicy) and Murg Malai (mild). The food was delicious and the staff is super friendly. Take out only spot. NO DINE IN. Reasonably priced too.

Extraordinary! The location is lovable and the staffs are very kind and polite and the food is delicious. I anticipate it's miles top notch that you get masses of
food for the price. It's definitely not like specific costly ingesting locations and you get very little food.

They are giving wrong information when asked just to earn some money, as we ordered food and we asked for the container. They said medium sized is for one person. Like seriously?

To be honest I was really hungry and fed up with the burgers and all the junk food so I was passing by and seen this restaurant first the stuff are so friendly and nice and their food is amazing mouth watering type of food since that day am in love with them ️

Amazing services with a smile. I ordered fish curry and it was worth waiting 25 minutes. The chef made it fresh with a balanced spices. The quality and quantity was great. It was very tasty. The Naan was huge. We couldn't finish it all. The staff were very receptive. If you are visiting Collingwood or Wasaga then Coriander Kitchen is the place to go. You will find the top Indian cuisine. I will visit again and highly recommend if you want to eat and feel fresh up North.
