Great sushi, especially their salmon. Their bowls and especially spicy tuna roll are so tasty. Their boba is always great and the flavors are all good, not too sweet. They also have all you can eat sushi for dine in, but certain foods aren’t available on it understandably. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
Extremely disappointed on New Year's Eve. Got take-out, place wasn't busy, but food was horrible. Maybe regular staff were off, but the Orange Cashew Chicken tasted more like sweet and sour and the cashews were almost burnt.
For the dishes we get on a regular basis this place is one of the benchmarks we use to see if we would go back or not. We have continued to return here for takeout from here and have rarely been disappointed and more frequently been very pleased with the food.
The all you can eat sushi experince is really good. They have many different items to choose from and the service is fairly fast. Although it is pricey, if you and your friends love sushi this place is absolutely worth a try. However ever since the store had major changes to it's resturant design I've started coming a lot less. I used to love ordering the "mum bowls" or coming in for breakfast before those options were removed. The restaurant seems to have decided to make itself more like the traditional "Spoon and Fork" restaurant, which is quite a disappointing transition in my opinion. Despite this, the experience and food offered is not bad overall, I'd still recommend trying it out.
We order wonton soup, spring rolls, pad thai, basil chicken.all this food was good, service was very nice. I reduced 1 start as I found the wonton soup too bland, it's my opinion may be others like it. But overall good restaurant
The food was good, albeit on the pricey side. Had to wait around 20 minutes to get the meal but I'd say that is on par with a lot of restaurants. Menu is big with different types of dishes from Japanese to Thai. Staff were friendly and always quick to respond. Had to good time overall
Great value for a la carte, food is delicious and large portion sizes. The bubble tea here is also very good, the only negative thing about this place is the service. The lady hostess there isn’t too friendly but overall a great place to dine.
I was disappointed when the rice at the base of our bowls was rock hard. This happened to us twice (4 bowls). We called in twice to complain and we were told they would get back to us. It's been over 2 months and we haven't received a call or email back to make up for our bad experience. If it weren't for this, I would recommend this place. The food is nice, so are portions and prices. I just wouldn't recommend getting it to go because they won't care.
Had a platter, good food but kind of small. The main complaint would be ordering online only for them to have changed the price (I said the price in my order to confirm). When I got there I asked and even their menu had a the price I saw online. Then they said they got old menus and showed me a different menu with the price increased.
Three places said the price was lower (on the phone, online, and the menu they showed me) only for them to increase it and look for a menu in the back that had the “right” price… it was almost a $30 difference when tax was included. Felt like I got cheated. Will not be back because of that.
Our waiter was bad, wasn't friendly, and didn't seem to care about customer service. We were however, taken care of by the busser and she provided better service than our waiter. Probably will not come back to dine in.
Not really impressed by this place. It has such great reviews which is surprising. Everyone says the sushi is fantastic. More like tasteless and cheap, I would have rather eaten Sobeys sushi from bento sushi. The rice to filling ratio is around 1: 2, that's how thick the rice was. Let's talk about the price. A 4 piece diamonite roll that had imitation crab, a small piece of shrimp and cucumber for $7! What? !? ! I can go and get such better quality, double the pieces and for $2 more, FULL of filling! Like this is sooooo depressing. Don't get me started on the "spicy Salmon". Or avocado with a little salmon? Lol what a joke. I would get better quality from an all you can eat sushi place which is sad at best. The poke bowl with the tempura bits were stale and the sauce was absent. Dry dry dry. The 6 small cubes of salmon where ok, the lack of rice was apparent. The only thing I took away from this experience was now I know where not to go in the future. I don't recommend at all.
Local spot, had to order from actual hard copy of menu with reduced items compared to the other locations and no tablet offered to choose items. Very pricey to eat
Incredible food! I order the spicy tuna tacos and had the mango salad from my husbands meal. So amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious, my new favourite place!
It used to be a great place with great prices, unlimited self-serve refill coffee counter, and no tips. Now it's just a regular restaurant. Higher prices, no refill coffee, tips required, less relaxed environment. Also less food/dessert items now. Used to come here every week for breakfast and relax. Won't be back anymore. What a shame.
July 2021 update: AYCE lunch price is $25.99 on weekdays
Spacious restaurant with cozy interior. Dining area closed with separated entrance & exit to control traffic. Pretty busy restaurant with ample free parking.
Currently has promo, offering 15% off on cash only payments. Service was hit and miss, the ladies at the cash registers didn't seem too happy while taking phone-orders and didn't pay any mind to walk-in customers. One guy in particular made up for that, he was friendly and valued our business.
We actually came here for the Mi'hito menu because this location is closer to home than Courtney Park's (which got us craving for more of their sushi burritos). We placed a walk-in order - took a bit long for our small order to be ready but was worth the wait because the food was fresh and delicious. I definitely recommend the Rising Sun sushi burrito! Their Beef Taco was pretty good too. Can't say the same for their Dancing Unagi sushi burrito - didn't have a good unagi ratio in the burrito.
Always had a positive experience here. Been going for 3+ years. Sushi burrito and bowls are delicious and always so fresh. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely one of the better sushi spots in Mississauga.
The staff are so friendly and food is fresh! They also pack their food carefully, separating hot and cold items so your sushi isn’t warm. Great take out during the pandemic!
Edit: Amazing quality but no platter/party tray option available on Uber eats, hope you guys reintroduce them again soon! Unfortunately can't come to the restaurant directly but I would if I could~ keep up the great work
Everything I've had from here has been great and well worth the price. Hope you guys keep thriving and never change Delicious take out!
I am delighted to have this Restaurant 5 minutes away now. Also we originally visited the Oakville place. This place is much more, when it will open fire insight service. A gem in this neighborhood. The burritos are tasty and BIG. Love the the Rising Sun!
Corner by Spoon & Fork is a delightful, no-nonsense type of eatery. You pick and pay for your food up front and they'll bring it to your table. The selection of food ranges from poke bowls, Thai and sushi to name a few. The food feels fresh and delicious. The ambiance is also quite pleasant. Certainly worth a visit if you're craving some Asian food.
Short bald manager is not very friendly He is always chatting up the cashier and when you ask them anything its like your botherimg them Wouldnt recommend this to a dog Get some customer service skills.
Good place for breakfast or lunch. Price 5/5: it’s great for what you get. My partner and I had a big breakfast and a pasta. Ambience: 4/5: nice open area, clean. Workers are very friendly. Taste and flavour: 4/5: it’s good but not amazing but they have good variety. They do a good job at basic food without being inventive. Pasta with bolognese sauce was very good despite it being a basic sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Complimentary coffee for every meal is a really nice touch. Overall 4/5 stars.
The selection of food is not bad at all. Nice bright and spacious restaurant. It is "serve yourself" style so you have to get up and get what you want. You can take nice pictures here LOL! The portions are pretty big so come hungry or prepare to take home left over food in the doggy bag!
Great place, great food and great people. From the breakfast to their lunches it's good stuff all around. I'd come here every meal if it wasn't a punishment to my waistline and pocket.
Great atmosphere for a meal or just a cappacino & dessert. Love that the whole family can go and each person can get anything from sushi, to mum bowl, to western fare.
Our usual weekend breakfast joint. Been going there regularly for over a year now. No complains about the food, price and service. Good variety of food choices.
Great variety of Asian and some western dishes - they literally have something to suit every palette. I think that's their biggest problem as quality and taste come off a bit bland. Sushi is perhaps fresh but certainly not the best tasting. Good option if you're going with a group of diverse eaters. They also have sushi burritos and poke which are very trendy.
Really nice spot for studying (free wifi and lots of outlet plugs), socializing, and eating. Good food, good prices, nice atmosphere, and very nice customer service. Dont usually leave reviews for places much but had to leave one for this place!
I like coming here on the weekends for breakfast. They have the basic breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, sausage and toast, but they do it well and for a great price. You also get free coffee!
It's in such an unexpected location in a mall that doesn't look like much from the outside. But inside, it's quite airy and clean.
I'm slightly biased against places where you have to order your food and then head to your table.
Having gotten that out of the way, I'd definitely come here again. Was here on a Sunday around 1pm. Moderately busy, but not an especially long wait time. Good variety of food (breakfast, brunch, lunch) and huge portions and great prices.
The place was clean, bathrooms clean, and service was fast and friendly.
I always come here. The variety of food is amazing! From regular sandwiches and salads, to sushi bowls and sushi burritos, to cafe desserts. It’s never packed when I go, which is strange since it’s so nice. The price is very low for the quality and quantity of food you get. Love this place
