Had a great experience here for my 3 year old daughter's first haircut. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was so friendly. They listened to what we wanted. Stylist Anna did a great job and the price was very fair. Will absolutely be coming back and would recommend for adults and kids!

FYI for parents of littles: the car chair is only for before and after pics, the haircut is in a regular chair.

I have been going to Cosimo’s since I was a kid. I live north of the city now, I have tried other places for perms and cuts etc, over the years but find the customer service lacking and/or real knowledge of how to manage curly hair.

Ana has been perming my hair for close to 20 years…I just realized how long it really has been (and old I am!)! Not to mention her ability to properly layer curly hair. She takes her time, Dominick will pitch in to help out if Ana is juggling cuts or highlights in between my setting time. I feel silly saying this but they also make you feel comfortable and really ohhh ahhh the perm once it’s done, it’s nice to not be just a transaction.

As an example of the level of service, I called to book an appointment but it went to vm. Instead of me calling back, I knew Dominick would before I could even remind myself! Sure enough, 5 mins later he calls. There was one time my perm wasn’t as tight as I would like, it was my fault for picking a larger roller to mix in. Instead of blaming me or even having a discussion, Dominick booked me to come back the next day to re-curl the larger ones with the smaller roller, it took time and 2 boxes of solution…refused to accept any money. And that’s how you earn a life long customer rather than losing on over a single visit!

TL: DR - if you want a life long barber or stylist, give Cosimo’s a try. You’ll be made to feel like family and will drive in for 2 hours like me!

Great local place in the Junction for a haircut. Always good service from Domenic for my regular cut and reasonable prices - around $30. We were looking for a place to get my daughter’s first haircut and thought of Cosimo’s as a great family place. The lady who took care of our daughter did not disappoint - made it a real experience with a wash, cut and blow-dry. Will definitely be back.

I have not had my hair cut here as I’m fiercely loyal to my barber - but I’ve come here to buy product, and the service is above and beyond. If I’m ever in the market for a new barber, I’d try Cosimo’s first.

Amazing staff! I have known Dominic for years and it always feels like family when I go. I had to get a hair cut today, unfortunately Dominic wasn't available but had the pleasure of having Anna give me a trim and she is amazing! Dominic and his team always goes above and beyond. My 1st visit via word of mouth from friends and family and I'm quite impressed with the staff and the service received. Met with Anna the stylist to do a wash, cut and highlight. Totally happy that I allowed her to help with the choices of cut and colour. Love the new look. Even received a complimentary expresso which was really good. Excellent Service and they come highly recommended.

I love Dominic and his team. I wen there back in the day with Tony, Cosimo and Dom. I loved the experience the commitment everything. Even now being away for 6 years I make an effort to see him once to twice a year. Yes I drive 4 hours for a hair cutt.

I love how the lady that did my hair here took her time to pick out the perfect colour for me. She went above and beyond. Exceeded my expectation. I found my go too salon love the service here. You will not regret it and I didn’t have to wait that long to be seen.

It is so hard to find a place that cuts your hair the way you want for the value you believe in. I have been going to this place after trying a number of them around the Junction, for years now. Domenic is great and does my hair but my kids like the the woman who does theirs so that is a good sign. They are walk in only but there's usually always someone to cut the way you want well or you can wait for your favourite. We need to keep the little good places like this in our neighbourhood in business.

This is a great place to go if you want a great haircut in a traditional barbershop setting. Serves men and women and is terrific with kids. It's a family run store that treats their customers like family.

I got my first haircut in about 5 months because of the COVID-19 restrictions. My previous barber/stylist has retired since then. This was my first visit to Cosimo's. Angela gave me a great cut - my wife keeps telling me what a great haircut I got! I will be back for sure.

Still can get foil highlights wash cut and style for under $100. Been going for years can't imagine going anywhere else.

I went here for decades. My regular cutter resigned. The replacement would cut one side thinner and higher than the other, as well as lopsided. Had to find someone else. I drove from. Burlington Ontario to here for a lopsided, crooked haircut.

I just moved into the area and didn’t want to drive all the way to vaughan. I made an appointment with Anna. Everything was great and I would go back to do highlights in the spring!

Just found this barber, and I'm glad I did. Haircut exceeded my expectations; friendly; been in the business for 50+ years on dundas west; and when I went to pay it was less expensive than I expected.
UPDATE: Ok so my first haircut was done by Cosimo and was fine. But obviously the woman CAN NOT CUT MENS HAIR! Today I got a terrible haircut from the lady with dark hair (from Chile). She cut it way too short even after I asked her to only cut a half inch of the top. BEWARE OF THE WOMEN. STYLISTS!

Moved back in the area recently. Dom is a great guy but I received 2 garbage haircuts in a row by a nasty long blonde haired stylist lady. She was rude and standoffish when I questioned her. Dom fixed it as best he could. Never will I ever go back to this place. I basically left with a brushcut. Now I get to walk around for the next 2 weeks with a hat on. Too bad realy. ASJ.

My husband got a haircut there today. I think the barber might have been blind. Seriously, the haircut is uneven, he cut it way shorter than he was asked to, and it all looks very patchy. It's actually very disappointing. I haven't seen this barber there before, so I think he might be new.

I've been coming to Cosimos for the past 35 years. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.
