Did not give me any information. Had attitude the minute I spoke to the receptionist as I explained my situation and she just sat there as if I was incoherent. Then was like ok I’ll transfer you. Spoke to a supervisor and she immediately got frustrated saying I would need a lawyer who doesn’t reside in Canada (not sure how accurate that is as I spoke to a Canadian lawyer just a few days ago). Overall even based on a minute long phone call they seemed unwilling to assist and frankly like they would rather do anything else.

I hired Costa Law firm when I was deceived by my insurance company. I wasn't sure if I even could take any legal action against them. I fully trusted Costa Law firm's expertise and got the best outcome I could expect.

Costa Law. A place where the office administrator/Legal assistant, Ana Cardoso, will send a time-sensitive demand letter by email, and not by courier, or registered mail. Ask any other legal firm why that would be inappropriate and they will tell you that there is absolutely no proof that the recipient will have received the message. No signature, no proof. How useful will that be in court? It will not stand up in court - and when that demand letter is worth $25,000 for a counter suit. I will let you figure out how that goes.

Approximately, one year after partial litigation of a court case, the defendant produces a mysterious demand letter that has never been seen by anyone, dated a year earlier that directly supports a counter suit - and allegedly sent by email. Now, since no such email was ever received.it is very possible that Ana Cardoso forged this demand letter and put the lawyer's name on it. Since, well, hey, Ana Cardoso is good friends with the defendant's wife (who, by the way, submitted other forged documents in the same court case - things that make you go hmmmm?) It is worth noting that no follow-up message was sent following the demand letter. What kind of law firm would send the usual threatening demand letter, and then fall silent? Oh, perhaps the firm that never sent one in the first place.

So, it goes like this:

Costa Law - Go here, for important time-sensitive documents to be sent by email, and have them thrown out in court,

or.

Costa Law - Go here, and they will forge documents for the court, that will still get thrown out.

Now, to be clear, I cannot speak to the professionalism, or the integrity of the lawyers that are at Costa law. They may be on the ball.but to have a legal assistant that is either that incompetent, or unscrupulous, it does speak to the employees that they are willing to hire and have some control over a client's well-being.

Trust me when I say this David is a scam artist he will rinse you of your money. You will receive unknown legal fees with no real explanation or breakdown of where they came from, combined with horrible communication (I personally never heard from him for weeks about any updates, and when it was time for our meetings he'd literally forget my entire case). Save yourself the trouble and find another lawyer/law firm.

Thank you, David! You were really fighting to clear an innocent person of the crime he never committed! If any of my friends would ever need a good lawyer (God forbid) I will definitely recommend you!

This firm will take your money, but won’t do any work and then they will sue you. Do not go to these people

This review is about 25 years in the making (yes yes I know its long time and he was much younger lad then:)

David, 1997, helped me, help my family member, who did not speak English and who was medically sick and in the hospital. The issue has to do with the medical system and the laws pertaining to the medical system, thats all can say about the issue on this public platform.

About 25 years ago David did everything directly, to make sure that I had everything, I needed, all documents, he made sure that all the dots were dotted in the right way, all t's were crossed the right way.
He made sure I understood all my rights, my family member's rights. So could navigate to Medical system and advocate for my family members.

That document, today, I still have it and used to this day, whenever I'm dealing with the medical system (which in Ontario can be extremely difficult).

During an extremely difficult time I needing to navigate medical law David really went all the way to make sure everybody involved knew what they were doing especially me. I will never forget what he did and how accessible he was.
Medical law and medical issues can be extremely complex and difficult, in Ontario to deal with. I do not wish it anyone.
