Costco

I just want to ask why you have a phone in the store? To respond to customer communications correctly! So why do I try more than 10 times to contact you and no one answers?

Such a bad behaviour by the cashier at self checkout JESSICA, she embarrassed me as a customer. She has such a bad behaviour, she should not be at the front dealing with customers.
She passed a racist comment and tried shutting us off.
I would like costco to investigate, if any reviews matter.

What can I say It's Costco, they have what you need and then some. You always leave with more than you thought you needed.

Please enforce time limits in your food court, it’s always overcrowded and it’s an all too common sight for people to be eating their food from on top of the garbage bins.

The staff and store are great, always clean and organized, great deals. Only problem is self important dingdongs with zero regard for others inside the store and out in the parking lot. SELF AWARENESS, people!

Ample variety of products. Glad they brought back the salted peanuts.
Have noticed that the gas prices are the same as everywhere else, which is disappointing.

Costco is like a candy store for adults with free food samples. Every time I go, I spend an easy $500+ to restock my fridge. Last visit, I tried the $1.50 1/4 pound beef hotdog and wow! I know my reward at the end of my quarterly visit.

I love to support small businesses and local whenever I can, there’s just some things you have to buy in bulk. I love Costco, Ancaster. The quality, variety, value, and most especially, taste of everything is exceptional!

Too crowded and no real order. No one keeps their distance or respects peoples space. Clean and well stocked

Always a good experience at this location. Cosco employees here are friendly, helpful and quite knowledgable about their products.

COVID precautions are front of mind at this location and it is nice to see the level of engagement from this location for public safety.

It is a busy place so be patient and mindful of other shoppers and your experience will be a smooth one.

I like the Ancaster Costco warehouse. In addition to buying many staples there, we also buy our glasses at the optical department and make regular use of gas station they've added. The pizza from the food counter is something my sons enjoy and makes for a cheap dinner for them. Great place to buy vitamins and health supplements as well.

I was in line to get a refund for an upgrade purchase. My mom did not understand and was token advantage of. She paid more for an upgrade without understanding. I was in the return line and did not understand there was a different line for membership questions. I explained the situation to the lady helping me. She did not understand the situation and asked another colleague name Reita. I explained it to her the situation and she said I couldn’t do anything because I was not the primary holder, which I was. She started getting angry for no reason. I was later transfer to the membership line and Jessica was helpful. Very sweet and kind. Reita should not be working in the return section if she can’t provide proper customer service. If it was a membership related question, they should tell me that I am in the wrong line. Not argue with me and make assumptions.

Crowded, no real covid protocols, they want your money. Good prices though, the only reason anyone puts up with being treated like cattle. 2 stars are for price only

Went for a new phone. Went really smooth. Kody B was fantastic. Got us a great deal and was in and out quickly

Absolutely love Costco. They have recently moved things around in the store so people seem to be struggling and lost, trying to find their favourites. Give yourself extra time and patience as everyone tries to learn the new layouts!

Always busy but lineups usually move fast. Some isles are very congested. No social distancing followed at all. Isles should be one way only.

This place has many things to buy but the problem that you can't buy anything if you haven't have a membership card with costco. There are some good prices but mostly the prices higher than other places. It has halal lambs meat from New Zealand. They have Keto supplements. You can buy clothing from Costco as well.

I went to this Costco, ancaster, because I had time to kill before I had to pick someone up.

When is this #Costco going to hire workers with excellent customer service cuz the present ones, are not competent for the role!

Costco is my go to for produce, dairy, bread and school snacks!
I was disappointed on behalf of the staff to see they got rid of the table and divider for marking off receipts. These staff are highly susceptible to germs once again while the rest of the staff remain behind barriers.

Too busy all the time. I'm ok with the whole everything is on a skid but then you see an army of people with Pepsi cups as you leave it leaves a poor taste.

Heavily crowded on Friday’s and before holidays or long weekends

Covid-19 protocol are not emphasized carefully
Great deals offers
Tiny soft drink kiosk is very supportive for long time shopping experiences
Small snack bar but doesn’t have a eating area, also don’t offer bags for pickups, it’s very difficult to carry ready to eat food items, especially when you have so many bags in your hand and even upon request they will say”a big No” for a bag to carry food. That’s the disappointment I always have from them.

Usually go here to bulk buy.i park far from the entrance since there's always space far away from the place.decent selection of products.

Terrible Customer service. Employees are extremely rude and act as if they would rather be anywhere else but there.

Two incidents of the staff being racist in a single day.
First incident while entering the premises with 3 other customers the only people asked to show the member card was us by the lady. Time of visit 5pm. She responded very rudely when we stopped for few seconds while searching for member card in the wallet.
Second incident while doing self checkout the kind lady in our aisle already helped us by scanning the heavy items in the cart and when we were done scanning the lady from the next aise comes up and starts yelling at us if we scanned all the items in our cart and when the former kind lady responded that she did it for us she screamed again for no reason and went away thanks to the kind lady named Josee who supported us and even apologized even though it was not her fault.

Pharmacy purchase made easy by letting me pay there instead of getting in the huge lines at the regular checkouts.

Who doesn't love Costco? I loved it so much I even worked there a couple seasons - great place to work, great place to shop - just great all the way around.

Also, found a couple cool items like the LED Sanitizing Case for $29.97 and the Vitamix blender on sale until August 1 for 379.99! Posted pics below.

You’d better check the product you pick up before checking out. Costco isn’t like it used to be. Things are very much more expensive, and many with poor quality. Also no one cares about Covid restrictions, it’s like a zoo.

Instead of taking your membership card, the cashier scans it while the card is in your hand. What bothers me the most is her hand gesture: circling her scan gun, wanting me to rotate the card to display the barcode. At the same time, she was talking to the bogey loading associate during the entire checkout process. This bogey loading associate helped the customer in front of me unload everything to the checkout table. I wonder why there is a double standard. No Costco associate ever helped me unload the bogey. Not even when my bogey was completely packed with merchandise.
Today is my first visit to Costco in 6 months. In general, the cashiers are more rude than before. Originally, they would pay attention when you move items to the checkout table. They would ask you to leave some items in the bogey and they would hand scan the items. Now, they don't even look at you when you are unloading the bogey. For this level of service, their $60 annual membership fee is not worth it.

Update: July 29th, 2021
Two Costco employees at the electronics department charged in front of me when I walked. They clearly saw me from 5 meters away, but acted as if I was invisible. Then, they sandwiched me in between them. I had to stop and let them pass. Very rude employees create a very unwelcoming experience.

I was only able to get half of the stuff I wanted the other half was up on shelves because down below was empty I went and asked somebody and they said they had to get permission from the manager and it would take a while

Came in for flat tire. Discovered the toyota sold me wrong set of wheel locks. They removed the old one and installed a new ones and fixed my tire. Very pleased. Thx

There was no line up to get in the store but there was a huge line up to pay and get out. Social distancing was not even possible.

Horrible experience staff was so rude and ignored me and they don't take visa as a payment very inconvenient considering you always are over a tap limit and they won't allow you to tap more than once, all around bad service.

It was great to see that essential workers with their badge/ ID are allowed to bypass the long queue at Costco.

They were out of brisket.
But so was Stoney Creek and Burlington location's, so I wont hold it against them.

While not a bad place per se, this location is generally quite busy, in the main road, the access road, the parking lot and the store. Also, they don't seem to be able to maintain floor stock as effectively as other locations being short on both ground pork and canned tomato sauce (first and only time I've seen that at a Costco). As far as Costcos go, you should probably go elsewhere.

I understand the current condition of the limits for people in store, but there is a long wait time at outside just to get in the store. Otherwise this location is fine and i am pretty much okay to find anything there. I recommend.

Good prices, great service, friendly staff, especially Travis at the phone kiosk for all the help he gave us on our new phone.

Everything was clean and available. They even had an employee walking through the store reminding people to maintain social distancing.

Aside from the lack of "social distancing" we had decent time. Now tell me.does one's mind get so overwhelmed by the sales and atmosphere that they totally forget to follow the rules?

I love going to this place. Steak quality is second to none. It tastes better too. I love this place, I spend more than $100 every time I go. The people there are really friendly and are really helpful. This is one of my favourite Costco's to go to, everyone's always smiling. The only thing I don't like is that they don't do odd size tires and rim combinations on a car.

Busy as usual same at all Costco's the only difference is the parking no Direction how to get out and very complicated will not be going to this one anymore in Ancaster no signs on the parking to say which area your in and getting back to the Highway little difficult

For the first time we ordered winter tires from Costco online. They were delivered to the Ancaster store in just a few day's. We made an appointment to get them installed and everything went well. The all season tires (that we will get reinstalled) were put in plastic bags and set in the trunk. Costco you get 2 thumbs up on price, ease of ordering and installed in a timely manner. I desided to sit and wait but you could get your shopping done at the same time. Great job. Highly recommended. To bad there's only 5 stars.

Good prices and quick processing at checkout, which is impressive for the amount of traffic through the store. They have bulk items at good prices, seasonal stuff, groceries, electronics and more. Customer service is excellent. If you see something you like for a good price, buy it that day, as it may not be there the next time you shop. They get some one-off items in that don't come back. The membership fee is worth it.

It's a Costco, not very busy which was a surprise. Parked close to the doors, virtually no lineups. Fastest trip to a Costco ever. Definitely would go back again.

Love Costco! Found great zipups for my boys, hard to find at a great price. Great prices on brand name clothes on toys and books. We always find great things here!

I really like Costco it has so much different stuff there & it's all in bigger bundles of things from bake goods, frozen foods, chips, tissues, toilet papers, paper towels, water, pop, tuna, fruits, vegetables etc. So much grocery in bigger bundles. Its always so clean inside, prices are good, people who work there are very nice and helpful. They have photo department, pharmacy. Lots of parking spaces. However very easy to forget where you park. You have to be a member to shop at Costco, if you're not one you can go to the customer Desk to require how to become one. If you haven't gone you should go. They also have clothes, books etc. Its a great store to shop in. However it does get quite busy. It are times that not busy, but most of the time it is busy.

Every essential thing you are looking for at Costco! As usual there are a ton of people but it’s so big it does not matter!

This place is always ridiculously crowded. There isn't enough space in the aisles, cashiers or spots to eat if you want to dine in. There are some deals, but you really need to watch, because not all things are. Not sure if it's worth the chaos anymore.

Good service, lots of options, great prices and acceptable food. The parking lot is a bit of a hazard for people walking to and from the bus stop.

I really like shopping at Costco, this location has a very big parking lot but you still have to fight for a spot if you dont show up early enough. The staff is always friendly and very helpful at the check out, the lines move fast I'm never waiting very long.

Check the produce carefully. Found some close to turning today. Christmas items are already out but are going quickly!

Great place for shopping. Just got to be careful on how much money you spend. You can easily come out the door with $1000.00 worth.

Love Costco ancaster! I get strawberries every single time we go and I get quite the work out sorting through the spoiled strawberry mountain. Must be difficult to keep them fresh but I wish the spoiled pile could get taken off the shelves or at least discounted! I have better luck with the organic strawberries.
Staff is always so kind every single time we go! And some staff have been there for years. Its clear you care for your employees and in turn you, as you know, will always have loyal customers like myself!
