Not worth the wait time for 0.05 cents per litres you might save on gas due to the line ups. Simple calculation- if you are getting 40 liters of gas, with 5 cents savings, you ll save $2.

Now while you are waiting in line in your car and there are 5 people ahead in line, each taking roughly 1 min to 1.5 mins to fill up the gas, that is total of 5 -7 mins gone while you are waiting. So on an average, most gas powered cars can use $0.70 to $1 worth of gas while waiting there.

Now I am left with a $1 of saving and if the whole process takes me $7-8 mins. I believe my 7-8 mins are more worth than a $1. Are yours?

Definitely savings are not worth the wait times specially at the Costco gas station.

Always clean and busy as most of time it has lowest gas price but recently its not true for most of the cases, pioneer and mobil are great competitors.

The pump has support staff which is mostly around if you need any help there. The only issue I face is the entrance, its hard to get into the pump as it has same entrance as the Costco and thus the queue gets larger and larger and people try to steal your spot pretending they are going to the Costco warehouse so some management there would be helpful.

Well.they used to be 10 cent under avg. Not so much now the station up the street is usually 3 cents higher per litre but not worth a 30 min wait at costco

Only two pumps per lane. Long lineups. As well, often customers inexperienced at the pumps causing further delays. It's like this all day.

Gas is usually cheaper by just 3-5 cents/litre. Now that gas is over $2, that’s just a savings of 2%.
Not worth the long line ups to save a couple of bucks.

Will go back there.good price than other gas stations. Worthwhile to fill up gas if you happen to be in Waterloo.

I drive 10 kms and then wait in line for half an hour with the car running, but it's worth it to save a few cents on gas!

I was having trouble while paying with the new CIBC Costco Mastercard. Later staff there informed it's not just me, contactless option is not working for everyone with the new CIBC Costco Mastercard. So you have to use the chip option instead of contactless. Hopefully they will update it.

Very fast lines. Just watch drivers around both sides before turning left to get out after the pumps. Not everyone is careful driving out from the pumps.

Affordable price but there are normally huge lines so if you are looking for a quick fil up this is not the place.

Prices often 3 cents cheaper, not worth of a drive long lines for no reason, pay machines therible, not convince at all long reset times, I think pricing & pay process must be improved

The gas price in Costco gas station is way cheaper than any other gas stations. And if we pay with their credit card, we can get additional cashback 2%.

Anywhere from 3 to 15 cents less per litre than Shell on Ira Needles or Canadian Tire on Erb, which is within sight. I love the layout of the Costco gas station, one way traffic in and out of the station. Very well organized with a couple of young attendants helping people who have problems.

I think Costco gas has the lowest price when it comes to gasoline price. I would always prefer to get has from here.

The gas is always cheaper than other seller but you need a membership card plus a cash back of 2 % on gas purchase with capital one card.

You're generally in and out in no time. I can't think of a time where I waited for more than 4 cars or a total of 10 minutes. It's a dream for those of us who are living in GTA.

We love Costco. Just to many people in at one time for our liking right now during a pandemic. We will shop there again when this is over or if they had curbside. There has is usually the cheapest in town but now pioneer gas station has a card called journie card that is tied in with find bank. You always get 3 cents off and usually your third tank you get ten cents off. So they are now cheaper for gas and we have started to go there. Costco needs to step up gas competition a little bit for us to come back for gas

Great prices on gas, and these days the lineups aren't even that bad. What you save on gas alone in a year would pay for your membership. Then the rest is bonus!

Cheapest gas around! If you have the Costco credit card, you get a percentage of your gas back too! I make the trip just to get gas!

Very helpfull attendees. In one way you have to be a member of Costco.but the gas prising is always 5 to 10 cents cheaper then the other gas stations

Always huge lineups, be ready to spend 5-10 minutes waiting for a free pump. Cheapest in town though!

Good cheaper gas. Sometimes the waiting lines are pretty long, however it is moving acceptably fast.

Only 3 other vehicles when I went this morning (Saturday) at 8am. Price was 98.9¢/ltr. Surrounding stations were $108.9 or higher. For those who complain about having a long wait time.there is a bar graph on here under the heading "Popular Times" that shows how busy they are each hour of every day of the week. I hope that helps!

They are consistently, for the most part, having the lowest priced and best quality gas in KW area. I occasionally compare prices with my GasBuddy app and they have low prices at least approximately 90% of the time.

Good place to fill up if you have a Costco Membership. Even faster to fill up if you have their Credit Card as you just tap and fill (plus you get two percent on your purchase).

Lines can be long at peak times but the layout keeps things moving.

Helpful staff always around to assist those as necessary.

Gas prices tend to be posted at Gas Buddy on line. There is also a billboard just inside the entrance to the store. It lists the price for Regular and Premium gas. They do not sell Diesel. Prices tend to be lower than the average prices at nearby gas stations.

There is a propane station closer to the store (not at the gas station) for filling up portable propane tanks. It's not a 'set' price for filling a propane tank, rather you pay for what you purchase (per Litre I think). That's great if you want to fill a tank that may not be completely empty yet.

We haven't been but was with my Bro and he had good service every time, not sure what kind of gas he puts in his car. I've tried to get my wife to go in but she's afraid that she'd have to wait to long but one day I'm sure I will convince her!

Come here at busy time and your guaranteed a long wait, which does not necessarily means you'll have a short wait at any other time, if you get stuck behind someone that had no clue how to get the pump going. It is frustrating to watch them fiddle for two - three minutes. There should be dedicated lanes for those that have a Costco membership Mastercard which gets the pump going with one tap, vs those that have a membership card AND a credit card, which are the one that stalls and delay the process.

Finding lately that the Husky Gas station near by is within 3 to 5 cents of the Costco price on the other side of town!

Best price around plus top tier detergents for the best running engines. Fast self service with the tap credit support for Capital One Mastercard that is affiliated with Costco. Opens daily very early.

Line ups are horrible but then again this is Waterloo and even if you built 75 additional gas pumps here you’d still have a line up around the block.
