Costco Pharmacy

If I could give zero stars I would. After being directed twice in the store to go online and "manage my prescription" I find out by calling multiple times that what was sent by my doctor was apparently not "an official prescription. " I only found this out after calling when I tried to place my order online Thursday (it is now Saturday and prescription initially said online that it would be available next day at 2pm).

So now my prescription has disappeared yet again, my doctor is closed on the weekend and I am left without medication I need. Absolutely terrible experience, if you actually need your medication, don't bother going here.

Had multiple issues with this pharmacy so I've decided not to deal with them again.

It's not uncommon for people to request an extra refill in exceptional situation like before a trip or in an emergency.they gave me a hard time and after a bit of back and forth they said I'll have to pay for the medications myself and refused to even submit it to my insurance.

Sorry but it's not the first time I do this over the years and i never had an issue with this.so I don't understand why they are acting like this.

Waste of time find another pharmacy!

Terrible place to fill your medications. Pharmacist technicians refuse my legitimate prescribed drugs (dose increase) telling me instead to illegally double my dose of any remaining prescription instead before they will fill the NEW prescription.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO THE APPROPRIATE BOARD FOR WITHOLDING MEDICATION FROM A CANCER PATIENT.

Did in 20 minutes what my neighbourhood pharmacy couldn't get done in 2 days. I called ahead to have my prescription transferred from my neighbourhood pharmacy to them, and they had everything ready in 25 minutes and also followed up with a phone call.

Communication was so difficult. They finally knew my insurance plan in their system was outdated. Their service was rude, unprofessional.

Horrible pharmacy; disorganized and will replace brand name drugs for generic without asking patient for consent and despite being instructed not to do so. Zero customer service, very hostile and unprofessional staff. Will be going elsewhere and I encourage you to do so as well.

Although the fees are low but is very inconvenient as there are long lines to pick up the prescriptions. I needed to refill my prescriptions as the physician wants the pharmacy to fax the request. I have been constantly calling the pharmacy for one week now to send request to my family physician and they promise to send it right away but then they end up sending it on wrong phone number and then after calling again and again send it to the correct fax number to find out that instead of sending the request for three medications they send request for only one. Again I requested them to send request for rest of medications I find out that the physician has not received the request as yet. I don't have any of my prescriptions left for next week. I don't know what to do. The staff receiving the call do no understand the message or are very careless. I am a Costco customer since the store opened on Merivale road but I am sorry that I will have to take my pharmacy business somewhere else.

The pharmacy technician was unfriendly, incompetent and very hesitant trying to figure out how to do their job. My prescription was missing instructions. This is not the first time this happens at this pharmacy

After inquiring how to get a new glucose meter via telephone, the woman named Stephanie was very condescending, laughed because I wasn't understanding her instructions, rushed my call and sarcastically told me to "just come to the Costco pharmacy and ask for a new meter and they will take care of it, thank you. " It is clear to me that she is not there to help the people, it is just another job.

Lowest fee, can co-pay, can fax in, calls up doctor/hospital on your behalf, friendly staff and knowledgeable pharmacists. What else do you need?
